I'm hoping to get some feedback to find out if other people are like me. I don't have any acne at all* where I shave, so there's none on my jawline and rarely any above my mouth. I only get it on my forehead, nose, and upper cheeks. I theorize that shaving acts like exfoliating, and does away with acne, scars and red marks, albeit gradually. *Ok I get some, but it goes away a LOT quicker and it's only 1 spot a week at the most. Hello, I've been off accutane for about 5 months now and I'm left with clear skin. A few months ago I been to develop small dry flakes on and around my nose, and they persist to this day. I cannot brush my nose, or touch it in any way or flakes appear on it. I've been using a St Ives exfoliator for about a month but am not having much luck with it. The only thing that has seemed to lessen the flaking is sleeping on my back, as then there are relatively few flakes in the morning. Any suggestions?
Sorry went a little nuts with the tags on this thread probably. Anyway, Ive been meaning to make a post about this for months. I literally cannot stop using BP gel (cream? gel? not sure its white). I have been using it pretty much every time I shave/wash my face for years. I wash my face about once a day, sometimes every two days.
