  1. I've been trying to be more diligent about working out and eating right and just overall being healthier, but I feel like every time I work out and break a sweat, I wake up with acne around my hairline and some on my back. IS there anything I can do to help prevent this?!

    General Advice!

Hi all. I'm new here so forgive me if I'm not doing this right, ha! I'm 17 years old and have had acne for roughly about 3 years now. However, it has come and gone over the years. My acne has always been the same - always around the chin, and mouth. Literally everywhere else on my face is clear. I feel like I am doing everything in my power to have clear, nice skin. I work out, eat incredibly healthy, drink lot's and lot's of water, wash my face and moisturize morning and night and e

    Day Two: Skincare

Day Two of my skincare routine: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (morning and night) Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid toner (morning and night) Mario Badescu Drying Lotion (morning and night, depending on daytime schedule) I love this gentle skin cleanser guys. if you've ever tried high-end cleansing milks, this is highly comparable. So as an update from yesterday, my skin is feeling so much less tight and the peeling seems to be almost gone completely (after a whole week). I washe
  4. Hey guys, So I've been going to the gym, eating a lot more, and just started taking Carnivor beef protein isolate protein supplement. I have also been on Accutane for about a month. Is it safe to take Carnivor beef protein isolate protein supplement while on Accutane? The reason I'm asking is because the protein supplement bottle says "Loaded with Creatine".....and I've heard mixed explanations with Creatine and acne. Keep in mind this supplement ISN'T pure CREATINE, it just has creatine in
  5. I've had moderate acne for 5+ years and have been using the regimen for the last 2 years. The regimen of cleanse, BP, moisturize has helped my skin stay somewhat under control, but I have serious breakouts a few times a month (usually with 1-3 big inflamed cysts). The last year I added AHA+ which has helped smooth my skin, but I haven't REALLY noticed any other profound effect. I've started seriously cleaning out my diet to see what foods might trigger outbreaks (eating only clean meats, comp

    Advice, Please?

Okay, those of you who are reading this entry please bare with me, this will be kind of long.. I've had acne since I was about 11, it started as little pustules all over ( face, chest, back ). I then went on birth control (yaz) around the age of 15 to control extensive and painful periods, which helped relieve so much, including my acne. My acne improved TONS i mean, i had one or two pimples maybe, ever. the only problem I continued to have was maybe some on my back, but nothing extreme. I didn

    Acne mystery

Hi guys! I'm trying to solve one big acne mystery. I've been suffering from acne almost 10 years now (I am 23 years old now) and I have tried many things but nothing has helped. Over those years I have eliminated foods that are breaking me out like dairy, sugar(chocolate, sodas, sweets etc.), fried foods, potato chips, nuts, citrus fruit and processed meat (ham, salami...). These are foods that definitely worsen my skin condition. I have even tried for some time vegeterian diet as well as glut
