  1. Hello forum, 1st post here. I've had mild/severe acne about 10 years ago and haven't treated acne scars. My questions - what are my type(s) of scars?; Treatment options?; European doctors/clinics that people with my type(s) of acne scars and skin tone had positive results with (high sample sizes)
  2. EU has too many regulations for everything and so it makes acne sufferers wanna cry(Like myself). Or is it only in my country:oO? All acne products containing Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid (products containing over 0.5%) are banned to enter EU (country like Estonia) because they are medicine(drugs), talking about the cream(moisturizers etc.). Only juridical drug companies are allowed to receive drugs. I can't order products From USA, like Acne org products or like Exposed skin care ki
  3. Hello all, I am a 21 year old male struggling with acne. I've been through countless dermatology appointments and have tried it all. Before I left for a semester abroad in Europe, my doctor said I could try accutane if I so chose to. I am still tentative and my parents do not like the long list of side effects. Anyways, my acne is 100% due to the overproduction of oil, my nose/forehead/chin becomes an oil slick a few hours after a morning shower. It's unfortunate but realistica
  4. I have Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and had Erbium YAG laser resurfacing done 15 years ago on my cheeks, which didn’t do much for my scars and my cheeks ended up a shade lighter than my forehead/cheeks/under eye area. I did a zillion fractional laser treatments with no improvement at all and most dermatologists are scared to treat me due to my skin color. I spent years slathering my face with hydroquinone and gave up as I saw no change in the skin color, I regret not getting my whole face done but
  5. Hello I've used benzoyl peroxide before, and it only worked so-so. I did not use it the same way as the regimen prescribes, so I really want to try it the 'right' way. The only issue being that ordering acne.org products from Europe just seems ridiculously expensive, and most alternatives advised also are brands that at least aren't commen in the EU. About my skin: I've suffered from acne for 10 years (22 now). It started on my forehead as a teenager, but the last years it's mainly on my che

  7. Hi everyone! I live in Luxembourg it's next to France, Belgium and Germany. I want to buy some things from here but I'm not sure about the taxes... where is this company located? Is it outside europe? I know you have to pay a certain amount of shipping taxes but sometimes when you import something from outside europe you have to pay a supplement in taxes you know what I mean? (Import taxes + shipping) And it can be really expensive... So I wanted to know if it's the case? Thank you!!
  8. Hey guys! I had a lot of problems with acne since high school and I'm 24 now. I've learned, what works for me and what doesn't in terms of pimples, greasy/oily face, less with facial redness. With greasy skin, vitamin D3, drinking more water and getting rid of sweets(sugars) and dairy products worked. With pimples, my last try was getting rid of products, that include gluten(..of all the things I've tried, that has worked the most quick and efficient. No bs). To dry out acne, when get
  9. Hello Acne-Community, I've silently been following your stories and have decided to do something about my acne-scars and share my journey, as many of you have. A big SHOUT-OUT to all the moderators for the time and dedication they put into helping us. My story: As for the majority of acne-scars sufferers, my scars have affected me psychological. Before I started to see a psychologist (6 months ago), I constantly wore make-up and had a need to always look myself in the mirror. I di
  10. I just found out that ordering BP outside EU is restricted in my country (Finland) and acne.org's BP is prohibited. In Finland there's only 5% BP available, which is a little too strong for my skin. Is there any website in EU that I could order 2.5% BP from?
  11. I would like you guys to post on what in your opinion is the best probiotic out there to fight acne. Post brands and product that preferably are avialable in Europe. I have tried 3 different brands so far and none has helped, but everybody is telling me especially doctors that they work, not for me?!?
  12. What Ethnicity Has the Most Adult Acne?

Adult acne is defined as acne in people over 25 years of age. In the U.S., adult acne is the leading skin condition affecting people between the ages of 25 and 40,1 but it does not affect all races and ethnicities equally. According to a study published in 2010 in the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, "There [is] variation in the prevalence of acne and its subtypes by racial and ethnic group."2 Several...
  13. Hello, I am trying to buy Retin-A online, I live in Europe. So, there's not alot of European sites that sell Retin-A without prescription. There's so many people who buy from this american site that sells a bunch of tablets and creams but the shipping is to expensive for me... Because I only want to try out Retin-A so I only need a tube or two. Did any of you buy retin-a from here(i hope i can post this link, is it allowed?): http://www.facebay.eu/? I read about it here: http://www.skinca

  15. Hey, I got severe acne that won't go away with BP or anything else. It gets better, but it's far from being acceptable. I'm in Europe and I'd like to try Zileuton. Does anyone know a way to obtain it here? I could find no brand names for it on the internet.
  16. Hello everyone - I'm wondering if any of you can recommend any good doctors that can do a consultation for scar treatment. I'm going to be in a few cities around Europe mainly Amsterdam, Prague, Paris, Berlin for next few weeks and would love to show my skin to someone to recommend a specific scar treatment solution. I had cystic acne a few years ago and it has left some visible ice pick/rolling scars (with an indented skin tone). The redness is not a lot but just the indented tone which is ve
