  1. Hello everyone! I'm new here but really hoping someone has had similar experiences or has an idea of something that may help me. I've had acne since I was 12 or 13, so at least 7 years. I've tried salicylic acid, Rodan + Fields (the Unblemish line and the Soothe line), some Korean treatment for acne + sensitive skin (which actually sometimes seemed to help), essential oils/tea tree oil (used to help more than it does now), various face masks, acne creams, antibiotics, etc. and now using Young
  2. I'll try to keep this short. I'm 28, have been PLAGUED by acne since I was 12. Finally hopped on the holistic train after years of everything else (including accutane). Magically found this small, Canadian company called living libations who make their own essential oils. Tried most everything in their line and it was just OK. The absolute best thing ever in the whole world is the rose and frankincense firming fluid. I have never seen results this incredible! My hyperpigmentation is easy to see
  3. My then nine year old started getting pimples which progressively got worse, blackheads, whiteheads and small cysts by the time she turned eleven. I went to top dermatologist as well as her pediatrician. Both prescribed the same medications of Tretinoin and a topical antibiotic. It helped to some degree but the dryness left her with peeling skin which further aggravated her skin, causing more breakouts. She was too young to go on birth control, so I researched natural remedies.Essential oils
  4. Hello, As most of you guys here I have been suffering from acne since 6yrs now and I have used every products out there. Oral medication, retin-a, obagi nu derm, PCA, PC, clean&clear etc. Obagi did clear my skin but i started getting peels done to get the perfect skin I wanted. In the end I ended up with the worst skin I have ever had. My skin is super dehydrated but there's alot of over production of oil from using all sorts of drying products. Long story short I stopped using all chemi
  5. Hi everyone! I am 22 years old and have a had cystic acne from age 12. It's really been hard for me and i've been through so many different types of medications and ointments from retin-a, epiduo, differen, benzyol, acutane, minocyclin, solodyn, essential oils, BB creams, derma rollers, ect… and have very little to no relief. The only thing that has helped my acne has been growing older and thankfully I don't have cystic beard as I did in high school. Now I tend to have about 2-4 consiste
  6. I'm a 31 year old female who still struggles with acne, clogged pores and breakouts on my face as well as my neck and back. I have tried every medicine and topical. A vegan diet and healthy lifestyle has helped tremendously as well as gently cleaning with a washcloth. But unfortunately I tend to pick at my skin which has left little red marks and scars. I've been using really high quality essential oils- specifically a blend that has lavender and frankincense in it and it has really improv
  7. I have mild-moderate late-onset adult hormonal acne (mouthful, I know...) I have been reading about grapeseed oil, and how it's supposed to be good for hormonal acne. has anyone tried this? If so, how did you use it? did it work? How long before you saw results? I am trying so hard to keep my hormonal acne at bay, without taking anymore pills (already on BCPs...don't want to take oral antibiotics). So...yeah. Grapeseed Oil... How 'bout it?
  8. I'm a mom trying to help my teenagers with acne. We have been to the derm. and tried many over the counter products. Has anyone had any luck with a more natural approach using essential oils? If you have what has worked for you? Thanks!
  9. I am soooo busy. But i thought I'd share some info to other acne sufferers based on my experience. Hopefully this could help someone. If you read my past post, I had used Retin A. This post is the most recent update on what is going on with my skin. Retin A worked well for my skin when i first used it. Once i got clear skin, i completely stopped. I broke out again after three months of not using Retin A. So i started using it again, and this time it did not work at all. In fact, because the reti
