  1. Hello, Well, last week I got some BP, AHA, and cleanser from the amazon version of acne.org, from America, and although the estimated delivery time was June 12th, my order came a half a week later! This is crazy, usually it takes about 3-4 weeks, no tax, no annoying customs (buying on amazon is primary to avoid customs duty.) Just getting the word out, postage seems to be very quick now.
  2. im not happy with croatian dermatologists. but i go to england every couple of months, so i got this mad idea to maybe visit a derm there and get a second opinion at least. but would it be ridiculosly expensive? what are your experiences?
  3. Is anyone using an effective cream for fading red/brown acne marks? I've heard that vita k is good....but it only seems to be on American sites, and I can't find anywhere to buy it in England I'm not supposed to be using any acid peels or anything according to my doctor, I was thinking about Pure Deming Intense Gel....hmm, well if anyone knows of anything I'd be grateful for help

    Frustrated With Derm

Hi all,I am currently 2 months into my accutane course. I am taking 20mg/day and I weigh between 52-53kg. I visited the nhs derm last week and he said that my skin was looking good and I may only have to do a 4 month course. However he only gave my skin a brief glance and said that I had no active acne... a massive lie! that day I had 2 new cysts on my left cheek as well as some on my back, as well as blackheads on my nose, chest and back. Is my derm blind or optimistic? My acne isn't severe how

    Question...

I am hoping to buy Bp gel in bulk from Dan, so I can sell it to people that live in the UK, specifically England. My reasoning for this are as follows: Faster Delivery More options to pay BP more widely known in England, meaning more sales for Dan I am just a normal guy, just like Dan and I want everybody to know about BP gel and I want to help people feel more confident by making their skin clear. A lot of people, I imagine, that buy BP gel are teenagers that get bullied at school for thei
  6. I've recently been referred by my GP to see a dermatologist about the possibility of starting a second course of Accutane. Iv'e been told the average waiting time is 18 weeks. Was wondring if anyone has paid to see a Derm in England and how much it cost for the Derm, accutane, blood tests etc. Any comments are much appreciated!
  7. Hello, I searched for this but to no avail, sorry if it has been posted, we cant all be perfect I'm basically looking for something to replace the acne.org Moisturizer, it's good at night time, but in the morning it leavs my skin shiny, even if I use a small amout of it, leaving me with tight, dry skin. I live in england, and I'm happy to order stuff from America if needs be, if it's worth it. Just something that wont break me out, something that will sooth my skin, prevent flakes, bu

    Day 5 Accutane

I am a british 19 year old girl of who has been to hell and back in order to cure her acne. I get the occassional cystic spot but the majority of my spots are milia like. The week before my period I always break out badly around my mouth/chin/cheeks. I have tried every topical cream and every antibiotic known to man - but to no avail. I first went to go and see my GP and the age of 13 about my spots, although not that bad they really crush my confidence. I only started being really aware of my s
  9. Hi guys, Just popped my first 20mg pill last night and woke up with sore nostrils and a strange dry patch on my lower lip. My skin also feels a tiny bit "rubbery" - might be my imagination but I'm convinced the side effects are beginning to kick in. I feel so blessed because my derm put me on Accutane even though my skin isn't terrible right now. I know so many poor people have horrific, scarring acne and can't get a prescription. I've been on a double dose (ridiculous ugh) of Lym
  10. If you have 15 minutes to spare and would like to support research about young people with chronic skin conditions like acne, you can now fill in a survey online. I am a researcher at The University of the West of England and would like to hear from anyone aged 11-18 who has acne. The survey particularly wants to find out how young people use online support groups to help them cope with their condition but also asks about general feelings and emotions. To fill in the survey follow this link; htt

  13. Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in England, preferably somewhere in the South East (I live in Oxfordshire)? By good, I mean a) someone who is up-to-date with the latest research and developments and b) someone who will actually listen to what you have to say, and who will suggest treatment appropriate to your skin condition. I'm prepared to pay privately for a good derm. Please supply contact details if you have them. Thanks I had a bad experience the last time I saw a derm (which ad

  18. I know in Boots (and perhaps other places in England) Eucerin products are available. The only problem is the specific one that Dan recommends isn't. Is there another one that is comparible? Or should I be looking at a different range? I'm currently using Nivea Soft. So I really need a decent moisturizer. Feedback's appreciated.
  19. Hey this is my first post on Acne.org and I just wanted to make a post regarding sourcing Dan's products within the United Kingdom. I should first start off by saying that I have no complaints about the price of Dan's products as I understand they have been specially formulated with regards to oil levels, the balance and preparation of the moisturiser and cleanser whilst also careful consideration to the texture and consistency of the Benzyl Peroxide. (If you have tried with Panoxyl and realised
  20. Hey guys, Hope you don't mind me posting this, I'm new to the site but i think its really good!! i had my first derm appointment on saturday at the hospital and my consultant said that accutane would be the best course of treatment for me (ive been on tetras and various other things since i was around 9 years old so this was my last chance of something that might work so i thought id go for it). I had my bloods on monday and took my first accutane on tuesday lunch! im pretty excited but peop

  22. It's been a few weeks since I last updated this blog, so be prepared for a long one! Right now, without hopefully jinxing it, I have no actives on my face!! It's by no means clear however, unfortunately still some quite persistent lumps from previous spots that just won't go down . I also have A LOT of hyperpigmentation and a few scars so definitely not looking clear by any means. But I honestly can't believe this right now, after just 4 weeks I've reached a point where I am going a good few
  23. I've now completed my 6 month course, but will carry on updating as a Post-Accutane log, about how quickly my side-effects wear off, if I stay clear etc Day 1, Week 1 Popped my first pills, 30mg, this morning with Breakfast. Ahh Yeah
  24. Hello everyone! This is my first post on acne.org and I'm looking forward to joining the community! I'll give an overview first but my main questions I need help with are numbered below! Feel free to have a nose at my story but if you want to get straight to the point its clear too... I'll give a brief (if I can, I have a tendency to ramble!) overview of my skin history; so I'm 23, based in the central area of the UK. I've always suffered from minor breakouts that never bothered me throu
