  1. I have two questions about CP. You can skip over the little anecdote I've provided in italics. I have been using Clindamycin Phospate topical lotion now for over 3 months now. My skin has been consistently moderate. Sometimes it clears up well for several days. Sometimes it gets a little worse than moderate. How I've been using it has also been consistent for quite some time now: Morning: -PanOxyl 10% BP facewash -Apply Clindamycin Phospate to clean, dry skin -wait several
  2. This is probably my first and last post on the forum. I have had acne since grade 8 primarily on the forehead, in grade 9 it started to worsen until grade 10 when I decide I wanted to get rid of it. By this time I had all different types of acne (except for deep scarring, luckily for me my skin did not do this). I began to experiment with Clean and Clear products, Proactiv products and other easily accessible products I found that none of these seemed to work. (my acne is mainly found on my
  3. I've been using it for a week now, before bed and leaving it on overnight. Does it work as an exfoliant as it contains acids? My red marks have been getting darker and I sometimes feel a tingling sensation (only slightly) when I put the emu oil on. Is this considered normal? Since it is moisturizing, I struggle to see how it could be an exfoliant also. Yet my marks are darker. Thoughts? Also currently on accutane. ** Title is meant to say lighter, not brighter.
  4. Hello people! I was wondering which oil is the best for mainly hyperpigmentation (misleading title ). I have used argan oil and emu oil in the past, but they simply do not do the trick! I have oily face and prone to acne even at age 25. What is the best oil for this case? I read some posts that stated rosehip oil is usually the best for hyperpigmentation. What I am looking for is an oil that soothes/heals skin without clogging the pore. My options are rosehip oil, coconut oil, and almon
  5. Hi all. I came up with a concoction in my bathroom which is greatly helping my face in its healing process, and it doesnt break me out. I started with a natural moisturizer which has essential oils in it. I found that essential oils help lubricate my skin and not only plump it up but helps stop it from making more oil and helps my scars heal. Moisturizer - http://m.beautyheaven.com.au/skin-care/moisturisers/38711-natural-instinct-daily-moisturiser So, i put a dollop of this in my hand. Next
  6. Hi, I need some Emu Oil from UK, but i can't find really find something good. There is a selection of Emu Oil on ebay.co.uk, but i can't figure out whether it's recommended to use or not.. So some help would be great!
  7. I had a few Fraxel and PRP treatments to repair my acne scarring and ended up with really bad skin quality that looks worse than an orange peel. (To be precise 3 Fraxel treatments and two PRP treatments -- all of them one month apart) I have wrinkles and inflammation all over my face and it has made even looking into the mirror really difficult. I have no clue how to fix this and now all I do is keep looking for solutions online or dermatologists or at beauty clinics

    Emu Oil

Does anyone know anything about treating acne with emu oil? It seems like there are a lot of private label skin care products out there that might work well for treating acne and other skin conditions. Just seeing what the pulse is on emu oil.
  9. Hello everyone! My derm prescribed me today 40 mg/ day of Accutane for 6 weeks for my long-existing acne problem. I am going to start taking them next week, after I finish with my exams, and in the meanwhile i have a few questions I would be grateful anyone would bother to answer. First of all, can I continue taking zinc (30 mg/day) whilst on Accutane? How about Oregano Oil or Coconut oil? Should I consider taking vitamin E to help with the possible side effects? Could I use emu oil when m
