So I started the regimen a few months ago and continued doing it for two months. I have oily skin but it looks pretty good with make up. I just wanted to stop using make up and I wanted my scars to disappear. I got really tired of the dryness and stopped it. I started it again two weeks ago since I saw how it made my pores smaller. Now I'm in the middle of my second week and my flakes are back. I need to use make up almost everyday and I am trying any cleanser and moisturizer I can but nothing s

    Need Help Before Scarring!

Hi all. I am new to the forums, so hello! I, like many, if not all of you have suffered from acne. However, this post is about a rather slightly different topic. Any help of any sort will be much appreciated! For about a year, there has been a little what seemed like a blackhead trapped underneath my epidermis. I think it resulted from a full blown pimple that I avoided touching, but I can't quite remember since it has been so long. It has been sort of a hard bump on my cheek that for some

    Week 1 dry skin. Help!

I was hoping if someone could tell me if this is to be expected. I just finished my first week, all acne.org products, followed instructions to the letter. My skin is so dry and stiff, like sandpaper, I can't even move my face. I use the moisturizer with plenty of jojoba oil and I only use a pea size amount of BP. I've always had really sensitive skin. Does this sound normal for just starting to use BP or is this maybe too dry and maybe some sort of reaction? No redness and the stinging stopped

    Oily Forehead: Weather Related?

I am a 21 year old male. I was a senior in highschool in 2010, this is when I first started noticing I had oily greasy forehead skin. In fact, someone pointed it out to me one day and said my head looked really really shiny and made a big deal about it. I still never had hardly even a single zit. After the summer of 2011 I started breaking out horrendously. It was god awful and it was certainly severe acne. (around this time I also got a yorkie dog. I notice that when I take him to the
  5. Hey guys, So I have been using Cetaphil's gentle cleanser to wash my face for about a year. However, it still dries my face a ton!!! I thought it was supposed to be one of the least drying products out there! If anybody has any experience with another cleanser that might be less drying please let me know. I can't even go swimming without my face looking totally dried and flaky. Please please please let me know if any of you guys are using a product that is less drying. It would help me immense

I've suffered with acne and more recently (2-3 years) with Seborrheic Dermatitis on my face, sides of my nose and around my eyebrows. Name is David, I'm 24 and from Dublin, Ireland. Since I was about 15 I've suffered with acne, I went through some bad chest, neck and back acne between the ages of around 17-22, I went through everything except Roaccutane. Over the last year or two it seems to be diminishing, my back

Here are my options: -jojoba oil -Cetaphil moisturizing cream -aquaphor -cerave pm moisturizer what are your thoughts?
  8. Soo I've been on Tretinoin Cream and Monodox for 5 months now. My acne is getting better.. still gets really bad every now and then. I used to have no acne at all. I decided to go on birth control and my body freaked out on every pill I tried. I finally had to give up. During the time I was struggling with birth control, I started to get horrible acne and really really really oily skin. Even though I haven't been on a pill for about 7 months now, my acne is still bad and my skin is still awfull
  9. Hi fellow acne sufferers, I started the regimen almost 4 weeks ago and I am experiencing extreme extreme, redness, tight skin, swelling, cracking and skin constantly peeling off from dryness. I follow the regimen very strictly (cleanse gently, bp, then 2 full pumps of moisturizer). The first week, I started with a small about of bp, then slowy ramped up to 1 full pump day and night. I have probably been doing the one full pump day and night for 4 days and my skin is freaking out. My breakouts

I have suffered from acne like since 12/13 years, I'm 15 now, and I still suffer but I'm currently on a birth control pill named Diane-35, and I'm almost in 4 months, because my dermatologist said my acne was hormonal, but I'm not 100% shore of that! well, although I my acne is a lot lot better, I just have one or two cystic pimples, on my forehead and some normal pimples on the sides of my fave, my main problem is on my chin, I still get some few pimples there, but the worst is

  15. Last week, I noticed a red circular shaped spot on the side of my left breast which appeared to be a ringworm. I wasn't sure what it was but I just left it alone. However it wasn't long after that that I began to form red spots all over my stomach and some on my bikini line area. At first I thought I was just breaking out because I tend to get red spots on my body however considering the amount of them and the fact that it's accompanied by the red circular shaped spot on my boob, I think it is a

  17. My face is literally burning red and everyone in my family is asking what's the problem. I'm on the day 10 of the regimen and have been experiencing very big dryness and redness of the skin. I am using 4%BP and have started with a small amount of it as mentioned on the regimen (and I am gradually increasing the amount). I see marks on my face which i think they are from the skin peeling. 18. I went to the dermatologist last Monday and after looking at my skin briefly and talking to me, she prescribed me Epiduo, as well as a facial wash called PanOxyl. The first two or so days, I noticed a little drying, but nothing major, but now, on Sunday my skin is on FIRE. It's red, and very dry/itchy and painful around the mouth and next to my nose. My face just feels tight. The PanOxyl is 10% BP which is I believe the highest you can go without a prescription... and the Epiduo is quite str

    Any Shaving Tips For Acne?

Does anyone have any tips for shaving with acne? One of my biggest problems is that even though I may not pick at the whiteheads, shaving obviously opens them up. I know that my shaving is causing the acne so I changed the way I shave to help prevent razor burn and it helped some but it still hasn't fully helped, much less keep from reopening the sores day after day. Plus, my face becomes very dry only in the areas that I shave. Even after moisturizing, it still dries out pretty quick. Any ideas

Acne is ruining my life please help

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. i am a 17 year old female and as of December of 2015, my face has been absolutely terrible! I had never gotten a single breakout before this and now it's been nonstop. A little backstory, my mother doesn't allow me to take any of the pills the dermatologist prescribes. So that is out of the question. I have been trying everthing except for antibiotics. I had large hormonal cysts only on my cheek/ jaw area and under that was many many milia. Around February, i began taking p
