  1. To start off, I am going to try and start posting once a month at least, hopefully, more often than that. As for the update on my skin, it hasn't been the best few days. I think that is because I have run out of acidophilus that I pair with spiro, and my skin is not liking that. I forgot to call in the refill before the weekend. As a result of that, I have a few new spots on my cheek that are honestly really bothering me. I can't feel them, but my skin was looking good before this. It might also
  2. Has anyone tried any of his products? I am interested in his rose water spray but wanted to know if it was comedogenic? Is it good for sensitive skin? Thanks x
  3. Q.) Hi, I'm looking for a very hydrating moisturizer that actually does a good job in moisturizing my sahara desert skin. My Experience: I'm on Dan's Regime right now but I'm waiting for my Paula's Choice treatment to come in the mail. I personally love acne.org's community but I absolutely hate the customer service I get from acne.org itself. Therefore, I will be boycotting acne.org's products in the future. International shipment prices are out of the roof expensive + they don't care if yo
  4. Alright, I have moderate acne, very oily skin, and red marks left over from healing pimples. I need make up, I honestly refuse to leave the house without trying to cover my imperfections. I'm far from a makeup guru soI'm looking for advice! I need a affordable (drugstore or not crazy expensive higher end) full coverage foundation that is oil free and wont clog my pores and also a blemish concealer! Any suggestions?
  5. Hi everybody! Thanks to this website I was able to kill off all of my acne and ever since then I have never had a break out ever again (except for the occasional random pimple) I was 18 at the time and I didnt have a credit card so I couldnt buy the products for the Regimen online and I had to use whatever I could get my hands on at the local drugstores. I looked for similar products and they worked amazingly!!! Im so thankful I found this website! Also, the moisturizer I had started to use actu

Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) Benzoyl Peroxide Resorcinol Salicylic Acid Sulfur How to Wash Your Face Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) What It Is: Glycolic acid, lactic acid, and mandelic acid are the most common alpha hydroxy acids used in skin care formulations, in creams and gels in 10% or lower strength. For all intents and purposes, glycolic acid is the type you will likely find at a drugstore. (Learn more on the glycolic acid page of Acne.org) What...
  7. Hello all! I've been trying the regimen for about seven weeks now (seems to be working slowly... Ugh) and want to stick to it when I go to Aix-en-Provence, France in August. Do you have any recommendations for store products to use? I currently use Clean and Clear gentle foaming face wash, Neutrogena on the spot, and Neutrogena oil free moisturizer. I'm not sure what's available in France, but I want to make sure I can find good alternatives to these.
  8. I used to see a dermatologist but I stopped because of family insurance problems. My dermatologist gave me pills that helped clear my skin so much! But I can’t get a refill anymore. Since then I continued using the Epiduo Forte she prescribed for the morning and Veltin with Flurandrenolide Lotion USP 0.05% at night. ( This medication is used on the skin to treat acne. This medication is a combination of adapalene (a retinoid) and benzoyl peroxide (an antibiotic and skin-peeling agent). This prod
  9. Hey Everyone, I decided - after a few failed attempts with other methods - to start the regime. I will be using drugstore products that I will list below. I'm starting this blog so that anyone reading can share their experience with the regime or good drugstore products I might not have listed. I'd also love to hear any tips and tricks you might have in approaching treatment. About 3 years ago I ordered Dan's products, which are awesome. Great price, large quantities, and for the most
  10. I was searching for a new foundation, and I came across this new line by Drew Barrymore called Flower. The ingredients seem really good for acne-prone skin, plus it's not tested on animals and it's free of parabens and fragrance. It's still really new so it doesn't have too many reviews, but most reviews are positive. I'm going to go to walmart tomorrow to check it out. Has anyone tried it? It seems too good to be true for a cheap walmart foundation, and the shades are a bit limiting but I reall
  11. Hi all, I'm looking to order the Acne.org moisturizer but I wanted to know how it is. What do you think about it? Is it more like CeraVe or Cetaphil in terms of greasiness and dryness intensity it is most appropriate for? Thanks for any help you can offer.
  12. Hey Yall! I'm approaching the bottom of my Olay face wash and I'm getting that "itch" to try something new. Sorry if that sounded gross! I've tried purpose cleansing bar, simple skincare gel cleanser (left me oily!); clean & clear sensitive skin wash and purpose liquid face wash (I'm somehow allergic to both). My main focus now is my improving my overall skin texture now that my acne is under control. My skin is oily; I have super large pores and hyperpigmentation. I'm basically loo
  13. If I use the drugstore products for the Regimen will it work exactly the same? I really need to do something about my skin and this sounds like something that has helped a ton of people so I really want to try it but I'm not patient enough to order it lol I want to get it now! And it's expensive..So has anyone done the regimen but with drugstore products and gotten the same results as you would with acne.org's products? Thanks:)
  14. Well I started on acne.org in September with the DKR. After using up those supplies I branched out to find products that I preferred. For example I replaced his cleanser with a gentle, more moisturizing one from Cetaphil, and am in constant search for a moisturizer that will do something good for me. I had always stuck to his BP though until I ran out of my most recent bottle and didn't feel like reordering when shipping time just pisses me off. So I started trying other alternatives, starti
  15. Help!! I've run out of my acne.org products. I purchased the 8oz initial kit, and it hasn't even been a month and I'm out of my cleanser and moisturizer. I still have plenty of the bp, thankfully! But I really need to know the best cleanser and moisturizer to use in a pinch from the drugstore until I can order more from the acne.org line. I once found some info on this website about alternative products but am having trouble locating it again. Please help before tonight, when it comes time for m
  16. I only have mild acne on my chin area and was wondering if it would work the same if I just bought their drugstore alternative recommendations or if I should just buy their regimen? If I did decide either way to go with their drug store regimen recommendations which products as far as cleanser and lotion would be the next best thing to the acne.org regimen?
