  1. Hello I have been using the derma roller 1.5 for acne scars for 6 months now, and 5 days ago used Tca face peel 12% and im barely getting any peeling, my question is what should be my wait time, I usually wait 2 months in between to derma roll my face , now that im using 12 % tca face peel how long does it take to heal cause its already been over 2 months since I derma rolled but I don't know if I should since I just just tca face peel, and also I don't think I have sensitive skin at all because
  2. Hi all, Recently I ordered and used owndoc 0.5mm, 1.5mm dermarollers and 1.5mm derma stamp. Because I roll aggressively my face gets covered in blood and blood creeps into behind the rollers and stamps needles (Please see the photo). They recommend to use plant sprayer to clean them. With the 0.5mm roller I didn't use the plant sprayer, just washed it under warm water, but blood didn't come of I even used small brush with soap. Then when I used 1.5mm roller I used plant sprayer every tim
  3. I'm sorry to start a new thread--I know there's a main dermarolling support thread but it wasn't that helpful. 1) I know JGGlobal has been recommended, Owndoc.com, and Dr. Roller. I'm also seeing lots of titanium alloy rollers on Ebay that are not those brands. How do you guys feel about Ebay? Right now I'm not sure that I'm willing to spend more than $20. I have icepick scars, saggy, mottled skin, small cysts, papules, whiteheads, blackheads and broken capillaries--itchy or cystic s
  4. I am putting in tags and hope that helps help find this if the post bears fruit. I know there have been a lot of posts on this already but so far I only found really old threads. I've searched around the site and what came up are a lot of people asking for basic advice (I'll be fair, I need it too) without having their questions answered. Background--three cycles of Accutane, three years of Aldactone, usage of topicals now and then (like benzoyl peroxide) overnight, saggy inelastic skin
  5. Hi all. So I have been researching at home derma-rolling to reduce my acne scars and it seems like something I want to try for at least a few months. I have watched numerous utube vids and read quite a bit online. However, I cannot seem to find a country to buy from that is known for quality products. I would only trust a derma-roller (since it is a medical device) made in these countries: UK, Germany, France, Japan, and S. Korea. I do not trust rollers made in China based on what I have r
  6. Hello Everyone, I have few problems with my face skin and looking forward for your wise suggestion. Any suggestion and good advise will be highly appreciated. Please find my current face picture with this topic. I am 22 years old, I have many spot and scar on my right cheek which is really affecting my confidence lately. Which bother me all the time when i meet new people. So i have trend to talk to people my facing left to them since i have spot and scars on my left cheek. So looking
  7. Hello all. I'm a 26 year old African-American male, and I recently ordered a 1.0 mm Dermaroller that is pending arrival. I will be using this roller primarily for hypertrophic and slightly pitted acne scars on my cheeks. I have a couple of questions prior to its arrival, though: - How often should I use this roller? I see some people saying to only use the 1.0 mm roller once every 2 weeks or so for acne scars and I see others saying that it's okay to use it daily. The latter sounds like it wo
  8. The photo below is not mine. I found it on google and it is very similar to my boxcar scars. I've had mine since I was 12 or 13 y.o. and I'm 20 now. I want to know the safest and best (possibly cheapest) way to get rid of my boxcar scars. I'm considering the dermaroller but I'm afraid it will worsen the situation or it won't be worth the money. Will it? Will it not? Advice and tips from some who have used it before pls. Thank You So Much in advance for the ones who will respond.
  9. I think I've read all the derma rolling/needling related comments on acne.org. I understand some people feel its a scam. I know that many find success doing it themselves at home and don't think it's worth paying a derm, etc. I realize some people feel it's made their scarring worse. All of the different viewpoints have been valuable in my research. However, I'd really like to hear from anyone that has had Genuine Dermaroller treatments. How many sessions did you have? What kind of s
  10. I have really faint, shallow stretch marks on on inside of my left arm. They are about 12 years old from a growth spurt and they drive me mental. I've literally looked at every treatment there is, so far it seems a 'cure' is some what out of reach at the moment, which I find so upsetting and hard to believe, but I guess that means there is still hope. I'm considering professional derma roller + prp treatment. There are lots of clinics in Florida and a few in the UK. --- I'm still wai
  11. Hi Friends, I am having scarring on my left and right cheeks. I am currently using MT Roller 1.0 which i bought from amazon 2 months back. I am feeling that its needles are becoming rusty and i need a new roller now. My questions are 1) I want to go now for 1.5 mm roller ? Please advise is it fine 2) Also could you please tell me which company rollers are good (owndoc, dr roller or anything else) Thanks for your time and help
  12. Ive been using derma roller 1.5 at home for a year now, just to be safe I have been waiting 3-4 in months between rolls to let my skin heal, I wanna move up 2.0 but some people say it isn't safe to do that at home and I should go to a professional, yea im not gonna go to a professional so I can pay 500 bucks to roll that thing over my face, I read enough about it and it seems quite simple, are there any dangers of going from 1.5 to 2.0 , with the 1.5 I don't even use numbing cream......please gi
  13. I want to know how many times I can use my derma roller before its dull and have to get a new one, ive been buying the 1.5 ones on ebay and they are not the expensive kind either. Also once I do my derma roll on my face how long should I wait to use 12% tca face peel? When I use the 12% tca peel it barely peels, I think I have thick skin. Thanks everyone , give me some feed back please
  14. Hi everyone, Im looking for advice- ive heard wonderful things about the derma roller, but m wondering if its too good to be true! facts: - I have been using differin and benzaclin for years and when i go off of them, my skin breaks out - When i had Jeuvaderm done, my face had a million little red spots and looked worse than before i started -My scars are not bad compared to some, but haunt me. They are red and deep. You can really see them in the sun and it really looks like cellulite

  16. Hey guys and ladies . My name is Ryan and I'm 20 years old. I've just registered on this site and wanted to start off saying how awesome everyone is. I've been lurking this forum for months and my skin is drastically improved because of the advice from this forum. But let me get to my question: I've just bought the Dr. Roller 1.0mm 8-line derma roller for recent acne scars from a break out. I've always had great skin but for some reason I got some pretty moderate scars (a couple rolling and 1
  17. Hi everyone! So, I have had cystic acne problems for a year or two now, and regular teen acne before that, and now my skin is finally clearing up thanks to a healthier diet and hormones leveling out. However, I've been left with both hyperpigmentation and little indented scars that I'm trying to treat now rather than later. I came across derma rollers online and since I can't afford laser treatment or other scar therapy right now, I figured it was worth a try. I ordered the Zust Beauty Derma Rol
  18. I just bought a derma roller on amazon and have been researching it like crazy. The only thing I'm not 100% clear on is what to use on my skin before and after rolling. It seems like everybody uses different stuff. Vitamin c? Vitamin e? What are the things I MUST use? For example, would a moisturizer that contains vitamin a,c, and e work? Also, is there anything that I shouldn't put on my skin post-rolling?
  19. So I started getting acne when I was about 14 and I'm now 27. So it's been a long time I've been dealing with it. It runs in my family my mum was still getting breakouts well into her 40s. I have tried a lot!! I wont say everything but It feels like it. I've used all antibiotics, a course of roaccutane for 12 months, pro active, retin a, epi-duo etc, salsylic acid glycolic acid etc. Somethings have worked here and there, Roaccutane worked well but it wasn't something I wanted to stay on long ter
