  1. Hey guys! For over a year now, I have had a small-medium patch of tiny little bumps (almost like white heads) and darker pigmented skin in the area on my cheek! The reason I've only started worrying now, is because it seems to have spread on to my other cheek (refer to 2nd photo) and ignore my lil bit of peach fuzz in photos! The patch is not painful, or itchy, it's just kind of there! I tried apple cider vinegar and betamethasone, toothpaste, the whole nine yards. If anyone has any suggestions
  2. Hi everyone, Iam on 3rd week of acne.org regimen. My skin has became very dry and super flaky. Also my complexion has became very dark....its brown :(..please suggest should I discontinue it..I have seen many videos and read reviews everyone mention that skin dries out crazily. That should be fine but I don't like changing of complexion.. Which is very noticeable.. Is anybody facing same problem of skin darkening????
  3. Everytime I use salycilic acid on my face it makes me look suntanned. I did some research on the topic and read that salycilic acid can cause mild hyperpigmentation! I thought this was interesting because it clears your skin of acne and makes you look tanner at the same time, all without the risks of tanning beds. Has anyone else noticed this after using salycilic acid?
  4. I was wondering if it was a good idea to apply the body shop cocoa body butter after applying AHA+ (10% glycolic acid) on to my back. Any advice is good advice.
  5. So about 1.5 weeks ago I popped a white head that was on my cheek and since then after that it has been red, painful and hard. I had not been doing anything besides washing it with my Clarisonic but yesterday I decided to put hot cotton ball to the area in hopes of decresing the swelling and getting out what was inside of this huge red swollen bump while I believe is infected. After 1 day of putting the hot cotton ball on the site my swollen bump has increased in size and it is now more red ev
  6. Hello! I am on accutane course and my face is acne-free. I had pretty bad acne on my cheeks and it went away at around month 3. I'm now on month 4 and have 2 months left. Does vitamin E oil for red/dark marks speed up the healing process? I really hate my marks after my acne. I don't remember the name, but it's a german type or something. I can check it out when I come home. Regards, Daniel
  7. hi guys, I am mid thirties brown man (Indian origin) having some serious back scars. I stupidly went for some hair removal process few months ago and i think that made it look worse. Because of such a bad back i can never take my top off when at beach with family/friends , thought of someone seeing all this make me feel scary and sad. Would appreciate if someone can suggest what options i have to get this fixed/improved. Also would appreciate if someone can tell me whats the technical word
  8. Hey everyone, I've been on 2 courses of accutane over the past year and a half, and its pretty much done its job. My acne has gone, however I'm left with some pretty terrible red marks. These marks were also from the beginning of the course, so they've pretty much been there for around a year and half and have only slightly faded. One is on the left side of my cheek, and the other is on the right side. I have no idea what to do, any suggestions would be appreciated greatly! Here are some
  9. I have been struggling with acne for the past year and a half. It has been an emotional roller coaster that has made me depressive. It all began when I stopped using birth control after having used it for seven years. My skin eventually improved after using natural methods like ACV, clay masks, oils, and accupunture. I only needed a little concealer to feel comfortable leaving the house. That was 4 –6 months ago. 2 months ago, my skin took a turn for the worse and I developed cystic acne all ove
  10. Ive had this cyst on my face for a couple months, its a shiny, smooth, flesh colored bump on my face. But recently in the last 2 months it got bigger and its really annoying. Ive been applying BP to it for months but no progress. Ive just recently bought a bottle of Bragg's ACV unfiltered, unpasteurized, raw and mixed with some water and applied it to my cyst for the past week and now its somewhat flatter and smoother and also turned dark!? Does this mean its working? Or is this a chemical burn?
  11. Hello, For the last 2-3 months I have noticed these little red circular spots that appear and disappear under neath my eyes. It has happened to both eyes, but currently I have one larger red spot underneath my right eye. I have tried benzoyl peroxide, lemon, ice, and even cortisone cream. However, while the rest of my face has no acne, this little sucker won't budge. I do take oral contraceptives and I do currently take seasonal allergy meds. The red spot is not raised, I have tried steam but n
  12. Hey everyone! So i'm on my second month on accutane . I'm taking 60mg (20mg three times) a day . I'm an African American with naturally light-medium brown skin tone. However, in one month alone my face has turned 4 shades darker no joke. It looks absolutely horrible and it's only my face that has turned this dark. I do use sunscreen spf 30 religiously and the longest i spend in the sun is maybe 5 min and that's walking to and from class on campus. I know accutane makes your skin more sensitive,
  13. I have been using a 10% benzoyl peroxide gel for 2 days. I put it over some of my acne spots and left it overnight. This morning I woke up with huge red/brown angry marks over where I put the gel. They aren't raised or painful, just ugly and dark. What are they, are they permanent, and how can I make them go away?? Please help!

My skin is getting so much darker, its ridiculous I'm a very light brown and now suddenly very dark and everyone has been noticing it and in some cases making fun of me. I don't really care though but will my skin every go back? How long, I'm so close to taking a week break from the regimen but I don't want to make a horrible mistake! Any help? I also tested the regimen on my neck and its 100 percent the regimen that's maki

  19. Hi all, I've been getting these dark spots and bumps on my inner thighs since I was younger, like around 6 or 7. 10 years down the line, they've worsened. It's humiliating going out. I never wear short clothing, nor do I go to the beach or anything like that because of this embarrassment. I don't wear a lot of tight clothing, I know they're not ingrown hairs because they're not painful. They're just there. Sometimes, they'll be reddish bumps, so maybe heat? Other than that, these black bumps/
  20. I had this red bump on the side of my face but now it looks darkish. Can anyone tell me what this is and what treatment I can do? In case you're wondering, I never intentionally touch it, I let it be. Also I am Filipino. Here's a pic:
  21. I am on my second month of the acne.org regime. My skin peels a lot and I also use a generous amount of moisturizer. But due to the moisturizer my skin looks oily all day long, when I am at work or outside. The oil also attracts dirt and skin looks dark after a while. I try to keep the skin untouched and do nothing to get rid of the oil from my skin. Have others experienced the same and are there any tips to avoid this ? Please help!
  22. In the past couple months my acne seems to be vanishing. I've been using Noxzema lathering face cleanser, and it works wonders for me. I use clean and clear dual-action moisturizer w/salicylic acid. haven't started using a toner yet, but i plan to, just to downsize my pores... maybe need to find a good product for that too, if you can help anyways, even though my acne has calmed down soo much to the point where i don't get those annoying under-the-skin pimples... i am now left with thes
