When searching the net the proper treatment, it says that i must used mild foaming cleanser. So my question is what is the best mild foaming cleanser for my skin type. Another question is what is the best moisturizer of dry and oily skin (separated or the best if can go in 2in1), I want to know also if BHA is advisable

I the ligo the two and I apply it at night !!! oh excuse me is that I am English and would translate Venez
  3. Okay so my acne like zits wise isn't a huge issue, pretty minor. But my black an white heads and my open pores are INSANE. On my nose, I have hundreds and hundreds of clogged pores (black heads) and if they're not clogged they are WIDE open. It looks absolutely disgusting. Beside my nose, under my eyes and beside my cheeks are hundreds of open pores as well. It's very disgusting as well. My forehead has tons of white heads and pores that are clogged but they don't look like black heads. Like
  4. Hi! I'm new to this forum but have occassionally came across with discussions here when searched other acne/skin problem related things from the net. I started jojoba oil to my regimen some 2/3 weeks ago. I read many articles where people have praised the oil and finally decided to give it a try since my then current regimen didn't really help with the forehead/large pore problem/oiliness. When my 3rd week of jojoba oil use started my forehead was a mess and is still (ofc). I stopped it 3 da
  5. I have combination skin, (oily in t-zone and dry on cheeks) I exfoliate twice a day, is that to much? my skin is so oily and even after applying an oil-free moisturiser after exfoliating ( I heard oily skin is due to over-excessively dry skin ) hence the moisturiser. I'm going to cut back to exfoliating once a day in the evening but what do I use in the morning?!?! I dont know wether I should buy a cleanser but I have no idea if that helps and what even is it? I would really appreciate some advi
  6. IMG]http://i44.tinypic.com/o9k591.jpg My skin gets dried up skin immediately after I exfoliate with just my fingers. It has patches and then when I take them off, it's all red underneath the dead skin patch or whatever it is. I have a cluster of zits all over and I have plugs coming out of my nose pores that are like small and yellow and clear and look like Demodex mites. I used to have clear skin with occasional cysts, but when I moved to my boyfriends apartment from my parents house a year a

    My oily skin is gone

Im 14 nearly 15 and I've had acne and oily skin since I was 10 (i know I was young), but suddenly my oily skin has gone and in my t-zone it's normal and the rest of my skin is dry. Does this mean that my acne is going? As it has dulled down a bit lately. I just thought that I'm too young for my acne to go already, even though I wish it would.

    My Acne Past

Sooo...today is the day that I decide to create a blog of my acne experience. I'm doing this to tell other people what will or won't help me over the next months (6-12 months), and to help me keep track of my progress. Another reason was because I couldn't find answers to many questions through a plethora of google searches (such as when your face gets through the purging stages of stopping benzoyl peroxide cold turkey). Let me start off with my acne story... The earliest I can remember h
  10. So I am looking for products for my skin- I have fair skin with blue/green veins (neutral undertones?). My skin is often dry enough that it gets flaky (like dandruff-flaky), but is also quite oily. The two are not exclusive, either. My skin is- perhaps not sensitive, but very fragile or delicate. When I have acne, which is most of the time, it's mostly painful pink almost-(but-not-quite)-white-heads. I only get a handful at a time and they are WAY spread out- like someone tossed M&Ms in
  11. I'm a male in my 20's am finally able to gain some control over my long battle with acne since age 14. The past 6 years have been a never ending cycle of OTC products and dermatology visits. I've tried every product from every brand such as Proactive to Clean&Clear, Neutrogena, Oxy, ZapZyt, etc. When that didn't work, I started seeing the dermatologist who had be doing Dove soap, Retin-A, and Doxycycline. When that stopped working, I played around with regimens using Dial gold bar, Witch Haz
  12. I've tried: - OCM (coconut/olive/avocado/some kind of mixture + castor oil) - Lush products: Mask of magnaminty, Coalface, Angels on bare skin - water only - Madara AHA scrub - some oily skin products - aloe vera gel - tea tree oil - Nizoral - face brush - honey & cinnamon face mask (- using some Finnish moisturizers as well) Also: I'm trying to avoid dairy, sugar and meat on my diet. So, what should I do? Edit: My skin is oily but still dry and sensitive. I have tr

  14. I've been struggling with acne since I was 11 and I am now 15. It's gotten worse and worse over the years. First it was on my nose then my forehead, then it started on my chin, now theres a little on my temples and its all on my cheeks and chin. So I decided to stop being lazy and finally go holistically. I have tried endless different products so obviously if none of them can get it right then I'm probably not going to cure my acne with products. I was using the OCM at night and honey in the mo
  15. Hello! Unfortunately, I have been blessed with oily and acne prone skin. My oiliest areas are the T-zone, which I find I need to blot every hour, and I have yet to find a solution to this. Are there any good products that oily people have had good luck with? I wear makeup if that makes a difference. I wear Becca mattifying primer and Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation.
  16. Hey all, For just under a month after visiting a doctor, I've been told to use Differin Gel (adapeline 0.1%) once a day, applied before going to bed (washed off in the morning), and Cetaphil oily skin cleanser morning and night. I've done everything I've been told to do, but my skin is always feeling extremely tight, and my whole face is red, my acne is worse, my skin is peeling around my mouth, nose and eyes (my eyes???) and til yesterday I thought it was caused by the Differin, even though

    I've Tried It All

Okay, I've tried everything and I'm getting really discouraged. Here's my current regimen: Wash my face in the morning using Purpose liquid cleanser, followed by Neutrogena's sensitive skin moisturizer, and then Epiduo as a spot treatment. I've been washing my face with this regimen for years. I just stopped using birth control and Spironolactone because they made my skin actually worse, not better. Before that, I've tried antibiotics, Differin, retin-a, clyndamiacin, many different washes, Proa
  18. this is really to document my acne journey for myself. and help me to work out my acne problems by writing it all down and putting it into the world. it's very long, and i'm very lol. maybe share your stories too so we can help each other out? i have bumps allllll over my forehead. my cheeks are sprinkled with it. the dark brown scars of past pimples are painfully obvious. and whoever said that it's harder to see irritated zits on medium to dark skin tone is a liar. a huge liar. you can very m

    Non-Greasy Sunscreen?

I currently do not use a sunscreen but I would really like to, I am just really not sure which one to use! In the morning I do not use benzoyl peroxide on my face so it can get quite oily after several hours, Also I would like to be able to mix my sunscreen with my moisturizer so I can do both in one job. So can anybody recommend a non greasy SPF only sunscreen? I don't want any which has a moisturizer in it as well. Thanks!
  21. So I need to start using moisturizer with SPF for my morning regimen routine. Right now I'm just using a regular moisturizer. I also have Neutrogena Oil free SPF 15 moisture, but its always too white for me. I have very light skin, but this stuff still makes me look like a ghost! Idk if I'm just using too much or whatever, but its like if I use less, it doesn't feel like enough or is a very thin layer only. I am also more oily in my T zone, and very dry and flaky around my mouth, chin, and just
  22. Hi everyone! Last Saturday I bought a Garnier Moisturizer for dry and oily face. When I tried it on that night my skin was normal. So I was very happy but then yesterday my face started getting very itchy so to remove the itchiness I tried washing my face and putting on my moisturizer but then my face suddenly started getting red and it feels like its burning. I tried it on my hand first but it was okay. I tried it on again this morning and my face started getting sooooooo red and it felt like b
