  1. Ughhhh. Late again. I’ve been feeling very fatigued and between that, being busy and just having general craziness in life, this blog hasn’t been a huge priority. The biggest grief I’ve had this week has been the stupid cold sore I got last week and tried vehemently to get it to go away. I put apple cider vinegar on it almost every hour, I’ve kept it moist with Aquaphor and Vaseline, I’ve put a liquid bandage on it, the list goes on… but I think it’s finally beginning to go away. I think m
  2. Hi I started accutane almost four months ago (read ). I'm 14, a girl, 5'6.5", 125 lbs, and on 80mg/day. A couple of days ago I noticed a two small lumps on my upper lip line and I believed they were pimples. However, I'm not so sure anymore and I think it might be a cold sore, but I have no idea how I could have ended up with one because I've never had one before and never kissed anyone with one. The most I've done is drink out of the same bottle as someone with a closed, healing one, but I don
  3. Ok so I got what I believe to be a whitehead on my lip line back in early May, I popped it, pus came out, and it went away. Then it came back in mid June, and I did the same thing, and then back in mid July, same thing. However, ever since July, the spot didn't fade like usual, it kind of just lingered there. Whenever I stretched my lip, and looked very closely at it, I saw what I believe to be a whitehead, I think I might of not got all the pus out. So I applied BP and aha as a spot treatment f
  4. Hello everyone, time has come to make a post, hoping someone could give some directions or tips. About me: Male, 26 years old. Sensitive skin. Lifestyle: Work with computer, but love to exercise, mostly - running. Acne type: Mostly - blackheads and blackheads that turn in to whiteheads. Whiteheads can show up really fast and are filled with loads of white puss. They pop really easy and also heal pretty quickly. Since they are on top of surface, I get no scaring. No cystic acne for me.
  5. Hi everyone. I've been dealing with acne since I was about thirteen years old. It started off pretty severe and then cooled down and then ramped back up right during my high school and college days. I have mild scarring/unevenness of my skin yet within the last few months I've found a regimen that has kept me clear longer than anything has since I started this journey. I came across a post (either on the website or another) that mentioned the cold sore treatment campho-phenique as a to

  8. I’m 16 and a virgin. I have not sexually made contact with anyone. I felt this on my lip the other day and stupidly, assuming it was just a pimple, picked it. I, later, saw it in the mirror and began to worry due to its location. Is it a cold sore? It doesn’t throb or hurt constantly, but when I open my mouth it stings (could this be just because I broke the skin and not because it is a cold sore?) I’m extremely worried. The first photo was it at night, I put some Vaseline on it and the below pi
