  1. I got Deep Fx about 2 months ago. My esthetician put me on a Vitamin C/retinoid serum, but it is not controlling my comedonal acne. I was hoping to swtich the serum with Epiduo, as Epiduo has worked for my skin in the past. But I'm not sure if the ingredients in Epiduo are okay to use after Deep Fx? Will they inhibit my collagen production or my skin's healing? I have young skin, as I am only 18, so I am very prone to breakouts. I need something stronger than a vitamin C serum to control my a
  2. (sorry for my english) (and for a long text) Hey everbody! I am writing on acne.org because I am lost and depressed and my life is forever ruined... when I was 17, i start getting really bad acne, because off milk products, weight gainer and SH*TH. that time, I did not think about changing my diet, to a vegan I just thought I was unlucky. when I was about 19 I began Accutane, and back then I didn't know the side effects besides dry lips,skin.. I am 22 know an have scars on my temples an chee
  3. I really need help I have read everywhere that once you peel from a laser treatment, your skin looks "Fresh and new" underneath and all the spots dissapear...Ive read posts for Deep Fx,Active FX, Total FX, just CO2 laser treatments etc. I dont exactly know what the doctor did but regardless, everyone says the same thing as far as there experience... I already peeled - a little bit, she didnt say i would peel a lot at all anyway... and my skin texture feels fine (all red marks are raised fo
  4. So I'm 41 and German, English, Irish. I started getting my first Sebaceous Hyperplasias at about 27. Then about fifteen more within the next few years. So first thing I did was have a dermatologist freeze them. The liquid Nitrogen didn't penetrate any and so I tried later on Compound w Freeze away and a professional liquid Nitrogen spray and none could do anything but peel the surface skin a bit. So that myth is bunk. I will tell each method and experiences in continued blogs. Please share yours
  5. I have these two options to choose from. The doctor does have Deep FX - however she has stated that in some cases, she has found Deep FX to make indented/atrophic scars worse. She is a VERY experienced doctor, who has likely done this thousands of times. I am however completely unsure that I would just want to do the Active FX - from what I've read, it doesn't do ANYTHING for acne scars, and people's experiences on here seem to be mostly disappointing. The only pro with the Pixel Perfect (CO
  6. So it's been about 17 days since I had my fractional co2 laser done on my whole face and I was starting to breakout. This is my second one and I never broke out that bad, so my derm put me on doxycycline 150mg for 2 weeks and prescribed me aczone to use in the morning and night and clindamycin to use at night. I trust my derm knows what's best for me but has anyone had any luck with using aczone and clindamycin together? Also, is 2 weeks enough for my skin to heal to let me start using acne medi
  7. Hi guys I would need your help choosing a plan for my situation. I've already done 2 procedures of ractional co2 laser without any success. Unfortunately I haven't taken pictures before the procedures, but I assure very minimal improvement could have been noticed(5% perhaps). First procedure of fractional co2 laser was 40 days ago and the last one 10 days ago. I've attached some pictures made today(current situation). Could you please tell me what should I do no
