  1. Hard to imagine this was the end result. This is what dedication can bring!
  2. There’s been a lot of talk about stress and acne lately. I’d like to demystify the topic, in order to bring it under people’s control. I want to show a little bit about how this connection works, and how it can be used in a very tangible way for healing. The word ‘stress’ is so vague it almost has no meaning. To people who are stressed out, knowing you’re stressed doesn't really help, except that now you can be stressed about being stressed. I’d like to break it down and see what’s really behind
  3. Hello Everyone! If anyone has been reading my blog thus far, you will know I have been on the regime (drugstore version) for about a month. I can honestly say that benzoyl peroxide is a very effective acne/blemish treatment - at a cost. The dryness, roughness and overall uneven skin texture is a trade off for fewer pimples and potentially clear skin. I found that my skin was so rough and uneven that it just didn't look great, even though I had fewer pimples and blemishes. Doing some research
  4. 4Fours

    May Regimen 2012

It's mostly clear, fewer pimples and less severe, but the few I do have are large, red but not pustules. No current cysts, 2 blemishes on my left cheek, 1 blemish on my forehead. Healing marks between my eyebrows, right cheek, and chin. Red marks are fading from the Deming gel. What I'm doing right now, the diet and supplements is something I'd be doing if it helped my acne or not: Diet- Mostly Vegan (except for supplements), gluten-free, avoid soy, peanuts, citrus, and avoiding IgG re
  5. 4Fours

    December 2011

I'm 95% clear... one inflamed blemish and 2 healing spots, 4 red marks. I don't want to clog up my signature with my routine, diet, etc. What's working for me right now, the diet and supplements is something I'd be doing if it helped my acne or not (fortunately, it does): Diet- Vegan, gluten-free, avoid soy, avoiding all IgG response foods (19 total) Rice protein every morning Supplements- Multi with Iron and Iodine (Iron and Iodine for thyroid) Vitamin D 5000 IU (tested low
  6. So I have been using the regimen for almost a year now and my skin has finally cleared up. I have recently decided to start birth control as a form of protection, however, I am really worried that my skin will go back to how it was. I was prescribed Tri-sprintec. If anyone of you have tried that brand and have advice that would be great or any birth control and have advice and opinions I’d love to hear it!
  7. Hi guys, looking to hear some experiences of Spironolactone treatment courses please! Question is in the title really.... Did Spironolactone successfully clear your acne and if so how long did it take? I've been taking Spironolactone now since the last week of December, so about 16 weeks in total, but in that time I did increase the dose gradually, starting initially on 50mg a day, then 100mg, and now 150mg for the past 6 weeks or so. My skin has definitely improved and I have experienced some

  10. Disclaimer - This may not work for everyone, but I have been suffering from hormonal acne for about 20 years now and have FINALLY managed to clear my skin, so I wanted to share with people what has worked for me in the hopes that it might help someone out there struggling with the same problem. The following is a detailed description of my multi-structured approach. Feel free to chime in if you have questions. Also note that there is nothing here that is super expensive. All the things I do
  11. From the album: Final Image - March 2012

I realised that I hadn't completed my picture gallery showing the final result of following DKR Regimen. This photo was taken in March 2012, 7 months after following Dan's regimen. In this photo I have no skin makeup on, but I am wearing mascara, lip gloss and I've darkened my eyebrows (because the BP bleaches them blond). As the photo shows, my skin is completely clear and smooth. AHA+ has also lessened the few wrinkles I had on my forehead and the pigmentation marking on the sides of my fac

  15. From the album: Persa gel 10 Benzoyl peroxide

I took this picture today (September 27th) and my skin broke out some more. Ugh. But those white spots are actually small pimples that have come to a head so I guess that is a good thing. do you think my skin is getting better, is the same, worse, or I still need to give it some time? This Tuesday makes 3 weeks and since then I don't know if it has gotten better or worse.

  18. I just ordered the acne treatment regimen for the face will arrive in a few days. I am hoping this will work to clear up my skin, feeling optimistic. I do see that acne.org has a seperate wash just for the body, is anyone using that? I read from a peer reviewed article that you can infact use the same acne wash on your face onto your whole body. Is anyone else using the face wash on their body instead of buying two different treatments? I also would like to know of the side affects that actually
  19. Hope to hear from you mr matt. From rob x, from panos, from aquasea, or anyone out there who had success treating their scars especially deep ones from the nose. I have one and is really deep. If not massaging with rose hip oil, what then shoul i do? I cant go to plastoc surgeons, I dont have enough money and i am more on natural methods. Anything else i could do? Any help out there? I am about to lose hope.
  20. Hello I had bad acne on my chest, back and face then i took a course of accutane in 2011 which cleared my back and chest (95% clear) but my facial acne returned so i am on my second course. I've read that after each course of Accutane your pores shrink so would this mean that the chances of my back and chest being 100% clear after second course are high? Please reply if you understand me Thanks
  21. First of all, i woud like to say that being an acne sufferer, i totally understand the pains, feelings and other several emotions which effect to our daily life activities. It took me 4 years plus to find a cure which i can say I found a cure to acne. I read this forum and learnt a lot. So, I decided to make an account and give back to this forum for what I have learnt these years. Long stroy to short, I got the first acne on 2009 which was severe. I had no experiences so my sister brought m
  22. Hey everyone, I started my accutane adventure on the 19th June, so today I have just finished my 16th week. I weigh 140lbs and I took 30mg for the first four weeks and 40mg for the following twelve. I last saw my dermatologist on the 11th September (twelve weeks into the course) and, seeing as she knew I was moving to Spain on the 17th, she prescribed me eight more weeks but told me to 'stop when I was ready, which could only take four weeks but could take six or even eight'. Great.
  23. Hey everyone! I've finally reached that point where I can be *proud* of my complexion: acne-free and, not only that, but, GLOWING (*touches wood*)! So, I thought, hey, why not share what products I use and my skin-care regimen to a few people. Maybe it'll help you? I should start with how my skin looked previously and the severity of my acne. I had your usual teenage spots, 1-3 spots on my face at any time, both REALLY small and large (at one point, one spot was the size of a 5 pence coin!)
  24. Hi guys and gals During darkest times of my life reading in this forum helped me bunch. Everyone around had such great skins and I felt hopeless and alone until I found this site. So I made this account to give back. I now have clear skin and want to share what changed. This is a long story but please read through. I am convinced this may help you with skin and mentally. • How my face was My acne started when I was 13. It was also when I started to get facial oils & I then thought it wa
