    day 1 - 25 accutane

I have had acne since age 10! It is mainly hormonal and oily spots. I basically been on anti-biotic for 6 year trying to treat it but its persistent! My acne compared to some cases ive seen is mild. I have lots of little pimps on my forehead, cheeks, and breakout regularly in some puss spots but no cysts etc. However i thought i'd grow out of acne but 8 years on it's still persistent! I always denied accutane as i was young and didn't want to deal with the side effects like dry skin and mood swi
  2. The 2 month mark is here! 8 weeks! This is a crucial milestone, people. A crossroad of sorts. This is the time I told myself I'd evaluate my progress and decide if I should continue... Well? What do you guys think? Is it worth sticking it out another month? Another 2 months? Forever?!?
  3. does anyone have any experience using raw, unprocessed honey as a cleanser and olive oil as a moisturizer? would you recommend either, or both? thanks
  4. Skin Condition The acne marks on my cheeks have gone back on track to improvement The discoloration on my lip is also looking improved this morning My chin looking better too. It used to be quite bumpy but this morning it looks really smooth and the any bumps have condensed to 4 tiny whiteheads The most irritation and acne is at the corners of my mouth I have some painful areas on my cheeks and around my mouth. I have lots of tiny hard pimp
  5. This is my skin at the moment I've been on isotrex and minoxycelline for just over a week. I'm upset and I can't deal with this anymore. This is my first time with acne. My skin has been like this for about 2 weeks. What do you guys think!
  6. Check out this loveliness. Hyperpigmentation never looked so good! This girl can GET it.
  7. Hey guys. Ive been having serious acne outbreaks for the past year. Whatever I'm doing there not going away. I mean this type of acne looks horrible on my face. I have i think blackheads all over my cheeks and jawline. They look like little tiny dark spots. I also have pimples near the two sides of my nose. I hate them and I really want to get rid of them. Ive been using neutrogena's oil free facial scrub, then right after i wash it off I apply another one of Neutrogenas acne cleansers two times

    Acne Update #2

So, In my last Acne Update I said I was washing my face with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser then applying BP like a moisturizer then using Vanicream Lite Lotion. My acne has gone away so quickly. I have like 3ish pimples. Here's the bad news. My skin looks like leather. Around my eyes and forehead it is incredibly tight, not flaky but tight. When I smile you can see a BUNCH of wrinkles on the side of my eyes. The skin on and above my eyelids are really tight too. So I've ditched the BP and Cerave. Fi
  9. Yesterday I was anxious about my face's reaction to the insane amount of makeup I had to wear yesterday, but apparently, for no reason. Dan's products continue to amaze me. As soon as I got home, I scrambled to take my makeup off, which the cleanser did effortlessly. I lamented a bit while looking at my clogged pores, but finished the rest of the regimen and went to bed. When I woke up, I was amazed to find that my skin is back to the way it was before! It even still looks like it's impr

    Night 1

Night One. I applied a thin film of tazorac over entire face after moisturizing. First night so nothing really to report. I have maybe three active acne but mainly just red marks all over my face. Left side is way worse than right side.
  11. Waddup! Things are still going great on the regimen! Not too much has changed since last week. I only got one active pimple this whole week and I noticed it yesterday. It was so hard to notice because it's under my chin. Weird! Anyway, still breaking out a little in my back, but still an improvement from 2 weeks ago when it was overflowing with large, painful and itchy whiteheads. Gorgeous! I think my hormonal cycle has the most to do with that. I only use dans cleanser on my back usually when
  12. Same old same old me here, everybody. Still SO happy w my progress. Did get a few small zits here and there. But SMALL and FEW are the key words here. Never did I think I'd describe my acne that way! Woo hoo for small victories! Although I still have some dark leftover marks and one or 2 active pimples, I seriously am so happy I gave the regimen a chance. And to think of all the stuff I've been trying the last year! However, I'm keeping in mind the many factors involved here, and any of the
  13. I started using Regimen from Jan 12,2014 so it is almost 2 months now I wash my face with its cleanser as mentioned..If you want to fight with your face its different thing Be gentle while washing face.. I have no pimple problem for 6 months or so. I am taking accutane 40 Mg per day and i have to take it for 3 months more. I use this cream in day time called KOJIGLO Gel. Believe me my dermatologist is best in India ( I cannot reveal his name ) He charges amount like $ 100/v
  14. If you have chronic acne, you know that walking down the face care aisle can be a nightmare. There are only 12,000 choices when it comes to acne wash and so much conflicting information surrounding acne care and products. It can get really confusing and to be honest, I’m still not sure what’s “right” and “wrong” for my face. In high school, antibiotics did the trick, but I think they destroyed my stomach. In college, apparently lack of routine and living on pasta was working for a wh
  15. I used Dan's products for the first time last night and this morning, and all I can say is, wow. I can already tell that these are by far the best products I've ever purchased. Everything does exactly what it's supposed to do! The cleanser is super gentle but removes all of the dirt on my face and tightens my pores. The BP treatment is smooth when applying and SUPER effective without overdrying my face (SO much better than Neutrogena On The Spot), and the moisturizer makes my skin feel super
  16. In preperation to starting Accutane my dermatologist told me to stop using topical creams to prevent drying and peeling of the skin because while on Accutane your skin can become very sensitive and dry. So basically I've been using Cetaphil Gentle Face Wash and Cetaphil Lotion for Dry, Sensative skin. He also gave me smaples of the CeraVe face cleanser and lotion but I already have the Cetaphil ones and like them. I also have a Clarisonic that I use once a day to remove my makeup. I am

    Witch Hazel

I use witch hazel on cotton wool balls to remove make up or to refresh skin in the morning. Its 'spot-fighting properties' supposedly can help towards breakouts, keeping them clean and (hopefully!) reducing them. Pros: Leaves clean, soft feeling skin. Is said to help improve spots. Removes make up well. Is very gentle. Cons: Haven't really seen improvements on my skin, but certainly no breakouts. Recommend? No. Although this is a gentle, natural cleanser and toner, one which really does
  18. So I'm attaching a pic in some different lighting than my sexy bathroom. Don't let the mood lighting and wet hair fool you. I am an acne sufferer! Regardless of the shitty photo, rest assured the regimen and Trinessa are still working their magic. I'm being an acne soldier and am disciplined as hell with it. That's why my progress has stuck! Hopeful that I'm not jinxing myself
  19. Last night and this morning might have set me back. It's hard to say for sure, but I'm kind of freaking out. First, I managed to forget my acne.org cleanser while I was at my boyfriend's house last night. I was pretty upset, and was frantically trying to figure out what to use to wash my face! I had some makeup on that I had tried on earlier in a store, and needed to get it off. Unfortunately, my boyfriend had NOTHING. Not even baby wipes. So, I pulled myself together and used the only
