  1. Hi guys- just decided to put this out there n c if it happened to any1else?? I ordered 4 tubes of gel and 1 cleanser on 12th August and chose standard shipping which usually takes a wk to Ireland but theres still no sign of it. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks!!
  2. I think it is making me break out been using it a week now, anyone else breakout when they first started using it?
  3. I ordered the cleansers for 2-5 day delivery, I paywed $48 for delivery alone and I expect it to be on time. I have e-mailed clear skin and I have had no reply for 2 days now. Any help?
  4. In search of a good cleanser to use while on Accutane. Thanks!
  5. Wow! I have used the CSR cleanser only two days so these are only first impressions. I have been using Cetaphil Gentle Liquid Cleanser and while I liked that because it was very gentle on my skin, my face never felt that "clean". So as far as the CSR cleanser: - Great package and a convenient pump - Great price for a large bottle - I only need one pump (large pump) to clean my entire face!!! - I love how it foams - My face feels so clean after using it - Very gentle and does not dry
  6. How to Wash Your Face the Right Way

Medical science has achieved significant breakthroughs in the treatment of acne. However, gentle cleansing must precede topical treatment in order to prevent irritation, because irritation can lead to more breakouts.1 Choosing your cleanser Look for the terms "non-comedogenic" (non-pore clogging) when selecting a facial cleanser. You know you're on the right track when references to "ultra-gentle," "mild," "non-irritating," and/or "non-overdrying" are mentioned as well. If you have inflammatory acne, the most common variety that comes with redness,...
  7. Soaps or Cleansers: Which Is Better for Acne-prone Skin?

To effectively remove dirt, sweat, and excess skin oil (sebum) when you wash your skin, you need to use either soap or a cleanser. Washing the skin is important because it removes these things from the surface of your skin and allows acne medications to penetrate into the skin. Unfortunately, some soaps and cleansers can irritate your skin, and when it comes to caring for acne-prone skin, reducing irritation crucial. Since cleansers tend to be less...
  8. Does the pH of Your Cleanser Matter?

Every cleanser possesses a certain pH, which is the measure of its acidity or alkalinity. The pH of a cleanser may be an important quality that controls how it may affect acne. The pH Scale Scientists use the pH scale, which ranges from 0-14 to measure acidity or alkalinity. Water has a pH of 7, which is considered neutral. The more acidic a solution is, the lower is its pH level. Conversely, the more basic or...
  9. This is my skin at the moment I've been on isotrex and minoxycelline for just over a week. I'm upset and I can't deal with this anymore. This is my first time with acne. My skin has been like this for about 2 weeks. What do you guys think!
  10. Check out this loveliness. Hyperpigmentation never looked so good! This girl can GET it.
  11. Hey guys. Ive been having serious acne outbreaks for the past year. Whatever I'm doing there not going away. I mean this type of acne looks horrible on my face. I have i think blackheads all over my cheeks and jawline. They look like little tiny dark spots. I also have pimples near the two sides of my nose. I hate them and I really want to get rid of them. Ive been using neutrogena's oil free facial scrub, then right after i wash it off I apply another one of Neutrogenas acne cleansers two times
  12. So... I recently started using the Regimen. I washed my face for the first time with the cleanser, and noticed the bottle said "fragrence free." I beg to differ. I took a wiff out of curiosity and was whacked in the face with an awful smell! Don't think this is gross, but it kinda smelled like my puppy's vomit. Yuck! Has anyone else noticed a stench, or should I be concerned?
  13. Hello! I have recently started on accutane and i'm not quite sure on which moisturizer and cleanser I should choose for my dryness when i'm on accutane. I have thought about these: La Roche Posay Effaclar H Cream (moisturizer) LRP EFFACLAR Cleanser gel (for cleansing before using the Effaclar H cream)
  14. Hello! I have been on accutane for a week now, and im just curious about the cleanser? Is it worth using or is it just worthless? Regards, Daniel
  15. So I am looking for products for my skin- I have fair skin with blue/green veins (neutral undertones?). My skin is often dry enough that it gets flaky (like dandruff-flaky), but is also quite oily. The two are not exclusive, either. My skin is- perhaps not sensitive, but very fragile or delicate. When I have acne, which is most of the time, it's mostly painful pink almost-(but-not-quite)-white-heads. I only get a handful at a time and they are WAY spread out- like someone tossed M&Ms in
  16. Hi everyone! Short-time lurker, first-time poster! My acne is mild (a few pimples a month). A while ago I regularly used Phisohex Face Wash. For the past four days, twice a day, I’ve used Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. Both of these products make my whole face dry, and my brows and nose become flaky. A short while ago I went a week of washing my face twice a day with only water, and as a result my face didn’t feel as dry -- and there was no flakiness. Apart from these two products, I don't us
  17. I read through all the posts/info on the regimen thoroughly before starting. I started last night and my skin was okay, a few white heads on my chin...I woke up this morning and I kid you not, my forehead is COMPLETELY covered in wideheads! As is my chin and cheeks! I had little bumps in all of the places where the whiteheads are now which is promising i gues...But I was expecting a breakout in week two so this seems so soon! Did anyone else have this? Does this mean I'll have another breakout n
  18. Hello beautiful people! I'm on a the DK regimen (have been for a year or so) and was using Cetaphil Cleanser, but my skin was so red, dry, and flaky. I watched this video from bubzbeauty about how she makes her own oatmeal facial cleanser and decided to try it. So glad I did! My face looks sooo much better! I'm not sure how well it will take off makeup, but if I am wearing some I usually take a washcloth soaked in hot water and lay it on my face after doing my oatmeal cleanse and let it steam my
  19. Hey Everyone, Being a former regimen user, I remember hearing something that using benzoyl peroxide in a cleanser is less effective than using it as a gel that stays on your skin. This made me think, is salicylic acid more effective in a moisturizer instead of a cleanser? Please share your experiences with it, and specify which type of acne you were dealing with (inflammatory/non-inflammatory). Thank you, Acneopia
  20. I'm looking for a pH balanced cleanser, mild, non irritating. (pH of like 4.0-5.5) It seems near impossible to find one as most cleansers don't list their pH. Or say they are pH balanced but in reality have a pH of 7.2 or something. Anyway, does anyone know of a decent one I could get? I have looked into Dans cleanser, but its just way to expensive to ship to the UK. Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw Thanks!
  21. Hey guys Ive got a question~ Does Dans cleanser react with salicylic acid moisturizer?? Im just curious~ or does it matter of i use anything?/??? Thanks guys~
  22. i used the CLEANSER (from the regimen)ONLY for 3 days, 2 pumps instead of 3 per day. No benzoyl, no other acne treatment, no moisturiser either. I KNOW my skin is red from the cleanser because i put it on my chest area also and both my face and my chest are red, exactly where i applied the cleanser. also, my skin didnt get red right after i applied it, but after a while, like, i used the cleanser in the morning and at night i noticed big reddish areas on my face. picture with the
  23. hey everyone, im just curious which is the best cleanser to use, im new to the regimen and id like to know if i should use dans cleanser or purpose bar cleanser?
  24. I'm out of the DKR cleanser and was wondering if Velocity cleanser would be a good alternative for it. -Thanks
  25. So I'm going to the store today. I currently have Dan's BP and ran out of moisturizer so my face is mildly flaky and scaly and I want to take care of that. I heard that the Clean&Clear Sensitive Skin cleanser is good, as well as the Purpose Gentle Cleanser and Cetaphil Daily Wash or Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. I'm pretty much set that I'm getting Cetaphil Moisturizer and Neutrogena Healthy Skin With AHA, but I have a few questions. 1. Will AHA moisturize sufficiently? 2. Will AHA even
