  1. Can I Use the Regimen Cleanser to remove my Makeup???.. Im kinda scared about what to use to remove my makeup, Any advice?
  2. I'm trying to use my Atralin several times a week and really loving the way my skin is looking but it's very sensitized and peels. My normal products are Vivite which is a medical grade line that contains Glycolic & Salicylic so I can't use them while using Atralin. I got CeraVe and really like it BUT it does not remove the Heavy Make-up I wear to cover my acne & pigmentation issues. I even read a product review about it and they said the same thing. Not good to remove make-up.
  3. Hi everybody! Thanks to this website I was able to kill off all of my acne and ever since then I have never had a break out ever again (except for the occasional random pimple) I was 18 at the time and I didnt have a credit card so I couldnt buy the products for the Regimen online and I had to use whatever I could get my hands on at the local drugstores. I looked for similar products and they worked amazingly!!! Im so thankful I found this website! Also, the moisturizer I had started to use actu
  4. Hi everyone, This is my first time writing on this website and I just wanted to get some feed back from the users. I'll start off by saying that I have struggled with acne for almost 10 years. I have used almost every over the counter medication, been to numerous dermatologists, spent weeks hiding in my room after acne peels, and as a last ditch effort to cure my acne started a cycle of Accutane. My acne is now at bay but I still get occasional breakouts around 'that time of the month' and al
  5. HAS ANYONE TRIED TO MIX IN JOJOBA OIL WITH THEIR CLEANSER??????????? I have really dry skin and only wash my face once a day.....I read on numerous retail sites that jojoba oil is good for cleaning out pores.....This along with the oil cleansing method testimonies have me curious as to whether or not this will increase or decrease the effectiveness of your cleanser.....ANYONE have any ideas or experience??

    DK Cleanser

I just started using this cleanser about a month ago.. I haven't bought the BP yet. I still have some BP left from my proactive kit.. After using this cleanser for about a month, my face is breaking out like non other.. I have big, painful bumps on my forehead. Does anyone else have similar experiences like this?
  7. The other day, I got in a couple of new bottles of the cleanser. I haven't had to order any for a while since i stocked up a few months ago. While i was in the shower using my new cleanser for the first time, it seemed to be thinner. It also didn't seem to lather as well. I know that the new pumps give a little less, but I compensated by using another pump. Also, without saying anything to my girlfriend, she asked my if the new cleanser had changed because it tasted different (I know, sounds wei
  8. So I'm going to the store today. I currently have Dan's BP and ran out of moisturizer so my face is mildly flaky and scaly and I want to take care of that. My choices are: Clean&Clear for Sensitive Skin Cetaphil Daily Cleanser Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (Two different things, correct?) or Purpose, the one recommended on Dan's .(As are all the above.) I'm set on Cetaphil, but I'm wondering if I should buy the Neutrogena Healthy Skin with AHA and SPF15. My questions: 1. Will AHA mois
  9. I am biracial (moms black, dads white) So I am light skinned black. Anyways, on the regimen I wash my face with the cleanser for 10 seconds, and pat dry gently (1 pump only). Immediately after drying my face gets VERY pale, my parents sometimes worry that I am sick during the 10 minute waiting period to applying BP haha. My color comes back after i apply the BP and the Moisturizer,,, so I am wondering if this is normal (I am a male so I do not use makeup)
  10. Quaternium-15 - in the Purpose cleanser and drives my dermatitis nuts. Propylene Glycol - was the primary ingredient in a Kiss My Face shaving product and broke me out big time. Sodium Trideceth Sulfate - this just sounds bad. Is this a foaming ingredient like SLS? Any reports of drying or irritation with the cleanser?
  11. Ok, I started using Benzoyl peroxide recently. So far I like it. But i need a good moisturizer, I cant find one that doesnt have at least 1 or 2 pore clogging ingredients in it. I decided to try Dans. I decided since Im using his BP and Moisturizer when it comes out, I might as well buy the kit. But im concerned about his cleanser. Some of the ingredients bother me. 12. Hello, I've been using a botanical gel cleanser from Mario Badescu, It says is so good to remove makeup, oil and build up from your face. I just received Dan's products and I'm just wondering if his soap is good to remove makeup as well. I don't know if I should stick with the one I am using or just use Dan's at night to remove my make up. Anybody familiar with Mario Badescu Products? Thank you so much!!!!
  13. In addition to a bunch of surfactants which are mild skin irritants, the cleanser has sage extract which paula's choice ingredient dictionary labels a skin irritant... it made my face really red and now I know why! Return!
  14. I am not on Dan's regimen nor use bp but I have used Dan's cleanser and find it pretty drying and seems to irritate my face a little. Even though Dan's cleanser is drying I still like that it foams and is ph balanced. I was just wondering can Alpha hydrox foaming face wash be used as an alternative gentle face wash? It is also ph balanced, non drying, and foams.
  15. Is the USPS shipping option not available for the cleanser? The cheapest option is UPS Ground for $9.48. Is that right??!?!? Ive always gotten my stuff through the normal mail at a low cost. I swear this has happened to me before, but then they fixed it. I live in Ohio btw.
  16. First off let me say that I'm loving the regimen. I've been on it for around 3 months (though i did veer off course a bit, adding SA and other things in early on). I'm now on a very strict and clear regimen that's working well at keeping me clear: 1) Cleanse gently with CSR Cleanser in shower 2) Pat dry, apply Jojoba oil to face (a few drops) 3) Wait to dry, apply CSR BP (1 finger) 4) Wait to dry, apply moisturizer (greasy Cetaphil at night, Neutrogena Sensitive Skin AHA during day) The abov
  17. Hi, I bought Dan's cleanser about a year ago, when it was brand new, and came in a blue bottle. It didn't work well with New York City's water, and didn't wash off completely, leaving a "film" on my skin. Has the formula been changed recently to improve this? New bottle style = new formula? I'll be giving Dan's moisturizer a shot. Neutrogena moisturizers make my skin very oily and shiny, so I have to absorb my face with a napkin every hour or so. Does this moisturizer do this? Thank you
  18. Hello, I have ordered Dan's big kit, and want to know if it is suitable for oily skin? I have been using cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer but recently noticied that there is now a cetaphil cleanser for oily skin type. I have been told that using the cetaphil moisturizer which says it is for dry skin can make things worse if you are an oily skin type. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much of a supply for cleansers and moisturizers for oily skin types. So again Dan's cleanser and moistu
  19. I got a new DKR cleanser recently and the consistency is unusual.. kind of clumpy I guess, not smooth like usual. It may just be the new ingredients, with the moisturizing stuff and whatnot.. just making sure it's that and not bad or something. Anyway, I took a video in hopes you could see what I mean, but it's kind of blurry and stuff, but I'll post it anyway for laughs (for some reason it was hysterical to me) and in hopes that you can see what I mean. hahah, here it is. http://video.google.c
  20. I have a general question, how can I be ensured that the cleanser cleans deep enough, or if it simply just acts as close to water? It feels really good, I just want to be sure if it's as effective as it "feels" to my skin. I know the mods had to do testing with it, so is there any information during that process that could possibly help me understand better? Thank you for your time
  21. ITs been a week using cetaphil cleanser, neutrogena on the spot, and cetaphil moist. Its given me good results. Acne are healing much faster and it has calmed my skin down really good. I got dans products today and im switching to dans cleanser and gel but sticking with cetaphil moist. is it bad if i switch?
  22. 2nd answer should have been, mainly the mouth area, because it does make other parts somewhat dry. Im just wondering how many people the cleanser makes them dry, and who it doesnt.
  23. I've never had forehead breakouts till i switched to CSR cleanser...so i just switched back to cetaphile...that was working for me no idea while i switched. Product loyalty
  24. Im in Ireland and ordered 4gels and a cleanser on the 12th August through standard shipping. I thought it had gone missing in the post, but somehow it ended up in Iran!! The package just arrived today with "missent to Iran" stamped on it. Just shows- never give up on the Postal System!!
