Questions On Getting Rid Of Pimples!

Hey guys. Ive been having serious acne outbreaks for the past year. Whatever I'm doing there not going away. I mean this type of acne looks horrible on my face. I have i think blackheads all over my cheeks and jawline. They look like little tiny dark spots. I also have pimples near the two sides of my nose. I hate them and I really want to get rid of them. Ive been using neutrogena's oil free facial scrub, then right after i wash it off I apply another one of Neutrogenas acne cleansers two times
  2. I use cetaphil and really like it because it is gentle. i do sometimes have trouble with makeup removal, but overall i really like cetaphil gentle cleanser. however, i am interested in dan's new cleanser because it sounds like it is gentle yet would effectively remove makeup. i was wondering if any of the mods that tried the new cleanser are cetaphil users. it would mean a lot to me if someone who uses cetaphil still labeled the new cleanser as gentle:). the reason i ask is because i am about to
  3. Hi, I live in Vancouver and I want to try out Dan's acne regimen but the shipping really discourages me from going with this option. In my case, what are some affordable in-store products for Canadians that you would recommend? Right now I use the following combination but it is not doing well. Cleanser: ESSENTIALS Foaming Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin Works really well and doesn't dehydrate my skin significantly. I think this is the only product that I bought right. Benzoyl Peroxide: Benzag
  4. My face gets pretty red/dry from using CSR cleanser. I will usually use about 4 pumps and work it into my face/neck for about a minute (usually a little shorter at night because my stubble isn't as bad). I realize that this is much longer than what Dan recommends. However, my face just does not feel clean after cleansing for less than 30 seconds. My acne consists almost entirely of small whiteheads and in grown hairs. I have very sensitive skin (red head) that always has some sort of red tone fr
  5. Hello I've now been on a treatment for 4 months and it has surely helped me. I do however still get pimpels (mostly whiteheads) every day and my acne doesn't seem to make any good progress. My current treatment consists of: cleansing, toning and moisturizing. The products I use are all from Exuviance. This sunday I purchased the 2,5% Benzoyl Peroxide and I'll swap it with the toner that I'm currently using. I hope the BP can prevent my daily breakouts and clear my skin. My question is jus

    Help ! Isotrex With Photos

This is my skin at the moment I've been on isotrex and minoxycelline for just over a week. I'm upset and I can't deal with this anymore. This is my first time with acne. My skin has been like this for about 2 weeks. What do you guys think!
  7. Hi guys, For so many years I have been trying to find a gentle face wash that does not have any of the harsh ingredients that are classified as irritating/pore clogging but still could not find one that passes the test. I tried most of the ones available in the UK including Neutrogena, Simple, Avene, Oxy, Clearsil, Boots simply sensitive and even ordered a few from the US including Purpose gentle cleanser and Cetaphil. Almost all of the ones I have tried contain at least one offending ingre
  8. I read a review about the product and it sounds amazing! The site also seem pretty cool and new, but I am a bit skeptical anyone tried?
  9. hey everyone, im just curious which is the best cleanser to use, im new to the regimen and id like to know if i should use dans cleanser or purpose bar cleanser?
  10. Just wondering if anyone uses the DKR cleanser to shave. Somewhere on this site I read about using it in place of shaving cream. I did for the first time today and I found my new "shaving cream". Instead of working it with my hands like you do when you use it to clean your face. I just put it on and spread it around. The shaving cream I have now is horrible and I always end up cutting my self no matter how light I shave. When I used the cleanser the razor just glided across my skin and I didn't

    Cleanser for eye makeup removal

Hi all, i just received my cleanser and bp and am so excited to start using it, quick question, can i use the cleanser to remove eye makeup or should i use something else for that? Also, i am 36, is there any moisturizer anyone has been using that works well for older skin, hahaha. i tried cetaphil and hated it, have been using complex 15. anyway, thanks
  12. i used the CLEANSER (from the regimen)ONLY for 3 days, 2 pumps instead of 3 per day. No benzoyl, no other acne treatment, no moisturiser either. I KNOW my skin is red from the cleanser because i put it on my chest area also and both my face and my chest are red, exactly where i applied the cleanser. also, my skin didnt get red right after i applied it, but after a while, like, i used the cleanser in the morning and at night i noticed big reddish areas on my face. picture with the
  13. Hi, about a month ago my doctor prescribed the combination of Epiduo and Eryacne. My morning routine is simply to cleanse with a non-comedogenic cleanser, and then moisturise; at night I'm to cleanse, put on epiduo, eryacne, and then moisturise again. My doctor warned me that i wouldn't see any changes within the first 4 weeks or so and that it may cause mild irritation but miraculously the majority of my acne cleared up within the first week and I didn't experience any irritation, I had to stop
  14. I started using Epiduo (2.5% BP) a week ago, and I just bought today oxy facial cleanser (with 2% Salicylic acid) and Clean & Clear Dual Action moisturizer (oil-free and has 0.5% Salicylic acid), I was wondering is that a good combination for my skin? I have mild to moderate acne and oily skin. I also bought Cetaphil oily skin cleanser (which doesn't have Salicylic acid or BP) to use after I finish the oxy cleanser. I feel unsafe putting all that stuff on my face, and I think it might be ove

    Dans Cleanser~ Question

Hey guys Ive got a question~ Does Dans cleanser react with salicylic acid moisturizer?? Im just curious~ or does it matter of i use anything?/??? Thanks guys~
  16. I'm looking for a pH balanced cleanser, mild, non irritating. (pH of like 4.0-5.5) It seems near impossible to find one as most cleansers don't list their pH. Or say they are pH balanced but in reality have a pH of 7.2 or something. Anyway, does anyone know of a decent one I could get? I have looked into Dans cleanser, but its just way to expensive to ship to the UK. Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw Thanks!

    Cleanser is way too drying?

So far the regmine is working, but I can't help noticing the dryness of my skin after using the cleanser. It didn't happen the first time I used it, but now everytime I use it I get a tiny collection of flakes around my mouth running up to the base of my nose. Should I stop using it, or do I need time for my skin to adjust?

    My cleanser pump broke.....

Well my Dan Kern Cleanser and BP arrived today, and i was looking forward to use them. So anyway i go get the cleanser bottle and press on the pump. Nothing happens (I didn't know at the time you had to turn it =/ ) so i push harder, and harder, and i hear it break. The spring is still on it and intact, but it won't connect now. I looked on the floor to see if there were any parts that might have fell down, but nothing was there. So is there anyway to repair or replace the pump? I really don't

    Acn.org Cleanser

Hello, again. I just received my order for the cleanser, and the ingredients on my bottle are different than on the website. Instead of propylene glycol, my bottle shows butylene glycol. Also, my bottle does not contain Didazolidinyl Urea, which is shown on the site. Do I have an OLD bottle, or is the website incorrect? Thanks.
  20. Hello! I have recently started on accutane and i'm not quite sure on which moisturizer and cleanser I should choose for my dryness when i'm on accutane. I have thought about these: La Roche Posay Effaclar H Cream (moisturizer) LRP EFFACLAR Cleanser gel (for cleansing before using the Effaclar H cream)
  21. I am scared to use this product because I have semi-sensitive skin. When I Breakout, I get cystic type pimples.
  22. I've been using the Obagi gentle cleanser for a long time and I'm not sure it's really doing anything for my skin! It costs so much that I've been thinking of switching to something cheaper, but I'm not sure what! I've been considering Cetaphil. I have extremely fair, sensitive skin that's prone to redness and oiliness and breaks out easily, so I'm having trouble finding something. Do any of you use any natural or organic products that are working for you or have found a face wash that's very ge
  23. My questions is:how often should I use my clairisonic? Once a day (morning or night) or twice a day? Also how many time a week? Thanks for your help.
