  1. I like to think that I have my skin under control now, and honestly I don't even know how it happened. Everything I use you can get at Target.. I went back to my trusty Clean & Clear Sensitive Foaming Facial Cleanser. So in the morning I wash with the Clean & Clear cleanser, moisturize with Cetaphil lotion, and do my makeup.. Almay Clear Complexion foundation really keeps my skin looking amazing, just not soo much when it's on. It kind of cakes up and slides off. But I have yet t
  2. Hey Everyone, I decided - after a few failed attempts with other methods - to start the regime. I will be using drugstore products that I will list below. I'm starting this blog so that anyone reading can share their experience with the regime or good drugstore products I might not have listed. I'd also love to hear any tips and tricks you might have in approaching treatment. About 3 years ago I ordered Dan's products, which are awesome. Great price, large quantities, and for the most
  3. I've been dispersing my accutane pills for the 2nd month of December 2014 and now finally im down to my last 5 pills of 40mg. Once again, i gotta mention i have been out of Dermatologist care since February, 2015, since i asked the doctor to take me out of Accutane due to very bad side effects. So it's been a month since i have taken 5 accutane pills and i don't know if it's the summer or the accutane dissipating from my system but oil has definitely been returning. However, i havent broken o
  4. Hello Now, I've done a ton of research on many of these products and read reviews on each of them. They work for mild, and moderate acne without a doubt. No idea about severe. My guess is you should see a derm before listening to people talk about that. So anyway, here goes: 1. 2x a day - Noxzema Original Deep Cleansing Cream 2. 2x a day - 2 Pad Per day - Noxzema Anti - Blemish Pads 3. Follow up with - Aveeno Oil Free daily moisturizer (If your skin is dry after cleansing
  5. Okay, so here's my skin situation. I'm 19 and I've always struggled to control my moderate non-inflamed acne. I have blackheads mostly, tons of them on my nose, between my eyebrows and on my chin. I also get occasional breakouts of them on my temples. I've never had a huge problem with pimples, 3-4 per month that I just pop and conceal until the mark goes away. But then I came home from University about a week and a half ago and I experienced the worst breakout I've ever had in my life 5-7 activ
  6. Hi everybody, I want to know is there any product/cream/treatment for me for clearing these scars and redness. a week ago I had two big pimples side by side on my upside of cheek. Then I bought Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment and Clean & Clear Clean & Clear Advantage Mark Treatment. First a few days I used spot treatment and It peeled and burned the pimples and I thought it is a good thing feeling that intense burning but the redness started spreading and widening
  7. I have moderate acne but it comes and goes away, 6 months good skin - 6 months bad skin, and today is bad skin season. I recently bought Clean & Clear toner with salicylic acid and used it concomitantly with Clearasil BP cream, at first, I saw some improvement, the big and red bumps dried out quickly and the comedones were 50% gone, but recently, I noticed some light red rashes on both cheeks with little pus filled bumps (although not that noticeable until I look at the mirror in a close up
  8. Hello Everyone! It's now Month 2 of my acne treatment. My Minocycline dosage has been upped to 200mg a day (one 100mg cap in the morning and night). My doctor has said that my skin has improved, now less angry cystic bumps on my jaw. However i did react badly to the Epiduo/ Tactuo topical Retinoid he gave me. He quickly told me to stop using it and stick on the Antibiotics for the rest of the month. He did say that if i didn't like the improvements this month, he's putting me on Accutane fo
  9. Hi everyone. I've been reading posts on this website for a while but just created an account today so I could share my story. All through high school I was blessed with clear skin except for the occasional pimple that would subside on its own in a couple of days. The summer after high school I began to develop mild-moderate acne on my chin and forehead and eventually my cheeks as well. I hoped that it would go away with a little time so did not start any treatment until partway into my first
