  1. I tried to stop obsessing over my acne last few months, without so much success to be honest. I tried limiting eggs for a while and nightshades but didn't seem to do anything, as usual. I have also been trying to eat less foods that make me fart, hoping there is some kind of ludicrous connection between farting and acne lol. That means less fruit and veg and wheat, if any, which means eating like a weirdo and then the inevitable binges like the big girl I am. Acne was so so for last few week
  2. Hello! I just wanted to know if its possible to break out from the smell of something? I know I'm very sensitive to citrus and since cutting it out a lot of my jawline acne went away.. but my parents love to use lemon for everything, so the zest smell often fills the house. I find that even though I cut it out of my diet when I get saturated with the smell it still irritates my skin. I know even without the smell I would still have some acne, so the whole thing could be coincidental, do you t
  3. Hi Everyone, I'm new to the boards so I hope I'm posting this in the right spot. Basically, my skin has been pretty clear since taking Accutane nearly two years ago. I usually just have a couple whiteheads but they dont really bother me. However, starting about 2 1/2 weeks ago my skin got really bad. The first thing that happened was I developed a weird rash on my chin that I still have at the moment. After that I started getting A LOT of whitheads - first they were popping up around my
  4. Hi The following items definitely break me out, and some f them are very healthy for you. I see some connection to histamines but any insight is helpful. I am mostly vegan with some raw goat milk homemade yogurt. 1. ACV 2. Lemon water (lemon lime squeezed in dishes is ok) 3. oranges 4. pineapples 5. conventional dairy. 6. homemade sauerkraut with cabbage garlic and seasalt. 7. some forms of honey (raw organic) 8. walnuts and pecans I am not sure. I am really suspecting low st
  5. I am starting to wonder if citrus fruits have any affect on my acne. After I had some OJ, I woke up the next day with a pimple. Is there a difference between citrus and citric acid for acne? I found a chart of foods with the highest citric acid, but haven't found any with the highest citrus content. Does anyone have a chart for this? One fruit I am wondering about is raspberry. It has a pretty high citric acid content, but is not a citrus fruit.
  6. I tried Proactiv for six months and it was working at first. Then, after a while, it seemed to have stopped working. I have been using the Atomy AC skincare system for six months and it has worked wonders for my face and back acne. It comes with three things, a serum, toner, and lotion. I'm pretty sure these are all natural products from Korea. It smells like citrus or oranges. First I was my face and then put on the serum or "citrus concentrate." This stung my face so badly when I first used it
  7. Hi, So I have been eating an extremely clean diet for about 5 months..I was still getting the ocassional big bump. I methodically eliminated, dairy, gluten , nightshades and also citrus. I can have raw dairy (usually fermented with no issues). I dont consume much but can have gluten without issues. I can have peppers and potatoes without issues, but not tomatoes. They break me out on my cheeks. Pineapples and oranges give me cysts. I ate some pineapples yesterday and can feel dee
