  1. Progress!!... I am so happy with how far I have come on Accutane. To what my skin was when I started to what it is now is unbelievable! I have not had any cystic acne for at least 2 months now and have only had 3 minor whiteheads within the last month. The dermatologist was amazed at how much progress I have made. He couldn't believe how much the redness had gone down considering I am still on accutane. I has confirmed that I have 1 MORE MONTH LEFT!!! New Makeup... UNBELIEVABLE! After a trip t
  2. Update... I know I have missed a couple weeks, however I haven't had many changes in my skin. It is completely flat and I have only has 1 active pimple last week!!! I find that if I do break out, there are minimal whiteheads and normally occur on my chin. I have not broken out anywhere else!!! The redness continues to fade every day, but I know I will have some scarring to work with after being off Accutane. Dermatologist Update... After seeing the dermatologist last week, he was very impresse
  3. Active Pimples… I still continue to have a lot of active acne consisting of both painful cysts and whiteheads. Most of my cysts have the red pigmentation even without picking which is very annoying and tend to flare more when I wash my face, UGH! Update of last week’s post… Last week was a very bad week for me that consisted of the worse picking ever. I am happy that the swelling has gone done as well as some of the redness which I thank to ice, salt water and aloe Vera plant. My lower ba
  4. OH SH#$%T, I Picked… For a compulsive picker to say, “I will never pick/pop a pimple again” is probably lying. It takes a lot of time to break a habit especially when acne is painful and contains a lot of pressure that can be easily released with a squeeze. That being said, IT WAS THE WORST DECISION! Over the past week, I developed two cysts side by side on the right side of my forehead and the pressure was unbearable. I also had 2 cysts on my cheek that I have had for the past 2 weeks and they
  5. So I was in Australia for three weeks on a rugby tour. However I did not take my normal proactive three step regimen (the new one with the toner) since my parents believe it to bleach sheets and they wouldn't want a billet families sheets bleached. However I did take some neutrogena applicants and a la Roche face wash. These did not clear my skin but my skin only worsened a little bit, except for my forehead and nose which began to clear on the trip. Though when I got back my skin really started
  6. Finally, the bp gel I have been working on is for sale at http://www.acnesupplies.com I will be shipping to Canada. -Dan
  7. How much does Accutane cost in canada?
  8. I've been on the regimen for about a year and I've been mostly clear with my day to day acne for about 6 months. Hormonal breakouts are still tricky, but I take what I can get. I want to try to use some AHA to fade some scars and help the hormonal cystic acne I get come to a head, but when I tried out Dan's moisturizer in the beginning and trying out his AHA recently it made my skin crawl with itchiness and turns it bright red and scaly both times, so I think I'm allergic to licochalcone. Does a
  9. Has anyone tried this ? I'm tired of spending over $60 on proactiv even though it doesn't even work on me. So.. I came across Cetaphil Acne Princples for $40 at Wal-Mart the other day in Alberta and it looked very interesting. I found out that it has a foaming cleanser, %5 BP Treatment and a Moisturizer. Has anyone tried this and is it worth going out to get it? Thanks.
  10. Hi everyone I have spent the past 2 months stressing over what to use instead of Dan's new moisturizer. The new moisturizer was colouring my skin (becoming yellower and yellower..) and making me break out because it was impossible to keep my skin moisturized. I did try to use 3 pumps, then 4, then 5. But it just felt like I had 5 layers of moisturizer on my face, so I finally decided to go out on an adventure to find another moisturizer that worked for me. I tried Clean & Clear's Dual A
  11. I've tried Dan's and Cetaphil, but both leave a shiny/oily residue on my skin and I'm sick of it. Has anyone had any luck finding good moisturizers in Canada that don't?
  12. How do you guys go about doing this, as most webshops or online pharmacies will not ship many products to Canada and it's really frustrating!! I realize there are Canadian brand equivalents, but I am after very specific products and having an extremely difficult time finding them: - DDF Glycolic 10% Toning Complex - NeoStrata Lotion Plus AHA 15 - PCA SKIN Pigment Gel - Glytone Acne Gel - Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash I cannot seem to find a single online retailer or drugstore that stock

  17. I have no experience with use any AHA lotions or creams, so I need some help choosing the right one. I am from Canada and the one recommended by Dan isn't available here. I would like to buy one thats available in stores here, and the Neostrata line of products is available here. Here is a link to all of there products which contain AHA in them: http://neostrata.ca/products/-ingredient/glycolic-acid/ All of the level 3 creams have 10% AHA and so does the Body Soothing Lotion Is the Neostrata
  18. Hi I live in Canada and have found a fairly cost effective plan following the Regimen (which has worked better than anything I have ever tried including accutane). I have bought all these products at Shoppers Drug Mart under the Spectro Label The Spectro Jel (purple bottle) $10 The Spectro AcneCare Benzyl Peroxide 2.5 $8 The Spectro Hydra Care Moisturizer (purple bottle) $14 I have followed the regimen using these products and it's easy because they are all made from the same supplier,
  19. I don't know if Shoppers Drug Mart sales are National or Regional, so check you local SDM flier or store. This week I found the they had Spectro Jel in the 500 ml bottle on sale for $7.99 The previous best price I've ever found was $8.99 (London Drugs in about Feb) So stock up now and save several bucks a bottle!
  20. Hi guys, I have been using the acne.org regiment for a few years now, with the basic benzoyl peroxide, regular toner, cetaphil mild cleanser, and acne.org moisturizer. Results have been pretty good with a few occassional breakouts. My acne isn't too bad, just get the occassional pimple here and there on my cheecks. I would say 3/10 on a scale. A week ago I got suckered into buying the Murad treatment. I've been using it and it seems ok so far. Face is left a little shiny however afte

  22. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...UgQphSaRww78rhQ Thats the product I was going to buy and it doesn't sell to Canada. I was going to use it as a spot treatment and maybe a bit more as I get more into the regimen. Whats a good alternative/how can I get that in Canada?
  23. hey guys I am about to run out my first round of DKR. The first time I ordered DKR; I got hit by custom making my final bill to come out to be 87$ which was even more expensive than when I was using proactiv. Anyhow, does DKR have a canadian distributor? Or is there some other way that I can get DKR without being hit by customs? I'm in toronto, canada Thanks for the help.
