  1. Hey guys, I am currently SOOO frustrated. Here is some background: I never used to have acne not even as a teenager, im talking not even one pimpleeee (knock on wood). I had a pretty bad diet in college and I STILL didnt break out. I never even thought about acne lol I used to be happy haha Anyway, I started law school this year and idk if it's the stress or what not, I BREAK OUT LIKE CRAZY on my cheeks and chin. like my skin is so bumpy and frustrated. It is dry and flaky and large pores. It
  2. Hi! I’ve been having this issue for quite some time now and can’t figure out a solution! Any suggestions would be helpful(: i LOVE wearing makeup, but I always get this scaly, rough, bumpy patch on either side of my nose (I’ve inserted a picture). Without foundation, my skin doesn’t look or feel rough or bumpy in that area. Does anyone know what this is/ how to solve this problem? Not sure if it’s more a skin issue or a makeup issue? I’ve tried SO MANY foundations and primers but I get the sam
  3. Just finished my second pack of Yasmin and am in the break week, however my forehead has suddenly become really rough feeling and I've noticed small bumps all over it (although only visible in certain lighting) Some of them have turned into whiteheads, others have been there for a few weeks now and don't seem to be disappearing... wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if it's just an initial breakout and will subside? The fact that the bumps seem more like clogged pores than actua
  4. Hi! I just signed up as I'm so tired of these forehead bumps. I've looked all over the Internet and even on forums on here and there's so many different answers but I thought I'd create my own so I can also attach pictures to show what the problem is exactly. I have had these bumps for a very long time - when I went on antibiotics they did clear and my forehead was smooth, this was around 1 1/2 years ago now. Recently they have flared up and look quite red, irritated and pronounced. The rest o
  5. Hello. So i have been using the regimen for quite a while now. I started about 8 months ago but took a break about 3 months ago for a month. this is because i felt like after a while, yes the regimen did clear up my big zits but it reached a point where it didn’t help anymore ( with the small bumpy acne) . A while ago, I started to break out again and I started using it again. It cleared up my big acne again but it doesnt really do anything with the small bumpy acne that come in groups. What sho
  6. I suffered from acne all through high school, I am now a sophomore in college and have occasional pimples here and there and some redness, but nothing compared to what I use to suffer from. I am currently been on tretinoin generic brand of retin-A for going on 6mo. Although I now don't have acne I have these skin raised bumps that looks close to closed comedones but I can't really say for sure if that's it, milia, or something esle. From certain views you can't really see it, but in sunlight,
  7. I used to have pretty bad acne when i was younger. I went on Accutane about 2 years ago and it worked out very well for me. Before that I had very oily skin, but after the Accutane treatment it’s been quite flaky so I use a moisturizer regularly. My skin is just very rough/bumpy on my forehead, for lack of a better word. Is this acne scarring? A couple times during summer I would spend a decent amount of time in the sun growing up and get a nice tan, like any kid would. I just wouldn’t think I
  8. i have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Since getting hormonal acne at 11 years old until now, my skin has formed a bumpy texture which is especially prominent on the sides of my forehead, center of my chin, nose. it doesn't seem to be clogged pores because i have bigger clogged pores too. they are so small and look terrible under the light. i can't even feel the bumps very well when i touch them, so the overall texture is grainy and bumpy. please help!!!!
  9. I use to have smooth clear skin until my min 20s. I started getting inflamed acne at 25 but after Derm visits and treatments it would subside for a few years and is have great skin then it would flare again. The most recent flare was in January 2015 and my derm helped with a sulfer wash and a retinol (retin a and differin were too harsh) I don't get inflamed acne or whiteheads as often. However now this bumpy pore texture won't go away. Will microderm sessions help or what Products/ingreds will
  10. I have had these bumps on my chin for about three years now. They used to be a bit smaller, and there used to be less of them, but more have come over the years. Sometimes there are less of them depending on where I am at in my cycle, but nothing seems to make them go away. I have tried the affirm laser (several times), PDL laser, Salicylic acid peel, laser needling, Retin-a, Spironolactone, and a lot of natural remedies, but nothing makes them go away. My derm says it is possibly rosacea scarri
  11. Hey there, I'm interested in finding out what kind of skin condition I have. I'm 22 years old, male, and I've had greasy bumpy and black head riddled face since I started highschool. I've tried about a million things to get rid of this including pro activ, using a gentle cleanser for oily skin, exfoliating with sacylic acid and physical (clarisonic),clay masks. You get the idea. Am I going about things wrong? Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone help point me in the right direction on
  12. I used to have pretty bad acne when i was younger. I went on accutane about 2 years ago and it worked out great for me. i'm 19 now and use a moisturizer to keep my skin from getting too dry, but i don't necessarily have acne problems anywhere like i used to. My skin is just very rough/bumpy in a way especially on my forehead. Is this acne scarring ? Is this normal for 19 year old skin ? I know it seems really minor compared to issues that others have, but it really bothers me. Are there a
  13. 22 year old male here. I've dealt with bad acne since puberty. After graduating college and several months on the acne.org regimen, my face has miraculously cleared of active infections. However, the raised bumps on my nose still remain. Whenever I broke out on my nose, usually a finger-tip sized red area would appear and would be painful to touch. Usually it'd become raised, and then burst and turn dark red for a while before subsiding. Does anybody know if this is hypotrophic scarring? Sebac
  14. Hey, I'm on here as a last resort really. I've had bumpy skin for almost 5 years now with minor pimples here and there with the occasional cyst. I honestly have no idea what these bumps are. I've tried facials, microdermabrasion, exfoliation, topical cream from my dermatologist and even recently nizoral because I heard it could be yeast related. And no change. Here and there they get smaller but nothing really changes. The bumps are really noticeable in lighting and really hurts my self estee

  17. So I've had this pretty bad acne/rash since Mid May after doing a juicing cleanse. I'm just trying to determine what this is and how to treat it. I have never had acne like this I follow a organic vegan gluten free diet and don't really eat anything processed on a regular basis. My face is oily in the pics because I've been using coconut oil with tea tree oil and this is just after applying. My face is itchy and sore in certain areas. I am just not sure what to do anymore.
  18. I have the most stubborn acne and I have no idea how to treat it! my skin has hundreds if not, thousands of small clearish bumps all over my face but mainly on my cheeks. I recently started trinessa birth control almost 2 months ago and my forehead has completely cleared up which is the first time it's been like that since i was in 8th grade (im in 11th now), although the bumps on the side of my face/cheeks/chin are out of control ( they are so embarrasing in certain lighting and it isn't someth
  19. So i have occasional pimples on my chin and nose which are always red and then turn into a whit head on the 2nd- 3rd day. However the acne on my forehead i have never been able to get rid of. I have used benzoyl peroxide for 1.5 years diligently and have tried both 2.5% and 5% strengths with no avail. I have attached a photo of what it looks like. The problem is that in natural lighting you can full on see all these bumps but in home lighting you can't. Whats weirder is that if i feel my fo
  20. I've had my share of hormonal acne in my life but these bumps are hard to the touch and I just cannot figure out what they are. I thought maybe fungal acne, switched to a safe routine and tried Nizoral, Head & Shoulders, Clotrimazole 1% and De La Cruz sulfur ointment (face hates it). Third picture shows those skin colored hard bump type pimples in the mix. Started with a few in the middle of the forehead and as time went on it spread to the sides and became more inflamed like hard insect bit
  21. I’m 16 and I’ve had acne for a few years now and I was wondering what type I have and the best way to fix it. Is it severe? Also I have very small white things in places like around my mouth which when I squeeze comes out a stringy white substance. At the moment I have been using AZ clear foaming wash and AZ clear medicated lotion for a few weeks and my skin has slightly improved I think. Now it’s really bumpy and red and uneven and I hate it.
  22. Hi everyone, I'm posting here because I've been trying to figure out what I'm dealing with, and my derms aren't helping. I've been dealing with this weird outbreak on my face. I had pretty flawless skin last summer using basic nuetrogena products. But in November, I started noticing red, bumpy patches on both sides of my cheeks. I didn't think much of it, and just continued my routine of neutrogena acne wash + toner + occasional moisturizer. Everything was going alright until December near
  23. Hello, im 15 years old and i do not experience crazy acne, but i have these kind of colorless bumps on my forehead and I've had them for quiet sometime i want to say maybe 2 years. they haven't gone away and i don't know why. I have dry skin for the most part but sometimes my forehead gets oily from my moisturizer but if i don't moisturize its too dry. I read somewhere that maybe the oil and dandruff from my hair could be a cause of this so i started to use dandruff shampoo on my clarasonic for
  24. Hi! im a 19 year old female who's been dealing with severe acne since the age of 11 or 12. I've tried absolutely everything to get rid of it or at least lessen the severity of it- Dermatologist visits, diet change, exercise and lifestyle changes in general, topical and oral medications prescribed by dermatologist, OTC ointments and cleansers and masks and scrubs and exfoliants and on the spot treatments , I drink a ton of water every day, change my bed sheets and pillow cases almost daily, and a
