  1. Has anyone successfully quit Proactiv or another product that contains benzoyl peroxide WITHOUT breaking out badly? I'm 24 and I've been using Proactiv since I was 14. I feel my skin is no longer as acne prone as it was when I was a teen, but my skin seems to be addicted to it, specifically the benzoyl peroxide. I tried to quit Proactiv when I was 17. I was warned that many users suffer major breakouts when they first quit, so I stopped using it. Well, I broke out...HORRIBLY. For months. It

    Week 6.1

This week was better actually, by no means clear but better. And as I said in my last post it seems to be almost gone and then another breakout. It seems endless. I just washed my face and it always looks worse after I shower or wash it. So I'm down about that. It normally looks less irritated in the morning. Still continuing the process there are a lot of ups and downs to this product but whatever
  3. I've always had clear skin, I would get an occasional pimple every once in awhile and it would go away on it's own. until this year I started noticing the right side of my face breaking out. I didn't think much of it because I thought it would just go away. of course, it didn't this all started around May. the right side of my face was just covered in pimples my skin was always so irritated after taking showers. I started getting face washes from the drug store in hopes that they would help. the

Hi guys! I've been on accutane for almost a month now (I'm on week 4). I still havent experienced really dry skin to the point where its flakey. The only time it actually got a bit flakey was around week 2/3 where it started to flake around my nose and mouth. The oil in my face has been reduced though. I have moderate acne, and I'm still breaking out. I was on 20mg a day, in the first week, and then went up to 40mg, which is what I'm taking right now (the dermatologist told me to do so). I w
  5. So I started using this product maybe 4 days ago and its broken me out (not severely but I can tell this product has had an effect on how many pimples I get). Im 15, (just turned), and usually I'll get a pimple or two every 2-3 days, but with this product I've gotten 8 maybe 9 pimples in a period or 3-4 days. Most arent even white heads, just bumps under my skin. Should I stop using it or continue? I haven't seen results (using it for my acne dark marks I have left over from all the previous pi
