  1. So this is my first entry, and I think I should start with who I am. Maybe this will help you relate and maybe stuff that helps me will help you! So I'm a 21 year old girl with not too severe acne but enough acne to lower my self-esteem. My journey so far: I had baby skin throughout puberty. Like. My skin was epic. Beautiful. Made from the gods. Okay, maybe not that good but you get the picture. And then it slowly said "F you UnspoiledDude, F you!" and changed into this mess of a skin.
  2. Hey, my name is Evert! i turned 16 in November. i've never had bad acne, but less than a half a year ago i started to get these blemishes on my cheeks. no bumps. about 2 months ago it started to get a bit more noticeable specially on my right cheek, but still nothing bad. even when i talked about it with my friends they told me that i'm stupid and it's not even close to bad. But i still thought it was horrible so i started using face-wash every morning and evening that was it. later on it got a
  3. Hello, my name's Ioan, and I'm 16 years old. I've been struggling with my skin for the past 2-3 years. It all started with a few breakouts here and there, but nothing really serious. But then they started to escalate and covered all of my forehead. My forehead was always red after this, so I visited my GP, and was prescribed Zineryt for acne. Which then cleared everything. But skip 2-3 years down the line, and many other medication being used (for acne) like Isotretonoin gel, doxycycline, duac..
  4. Hello:) I have been on accutane for 65 days now and I'm seeing great results!! I have stopped breaking out so much, I get a new breakout every 2-3 days. My face is smooth, but I still have these stubborn red marks burnt into my skin from where the acne previously existed. Can anyone help me with this? Now that the acne is gone I wanna start getting rid of the left over red marks!! My problem is that I am still taking accutane till the end of my 4th month my doc said. I am currently taking
  5. Hi guys I decided that I would start an accutane blog to show you my progress and also to give anyone else support along their journey or to discuss my life while on accutane. . I am now just over week 3 and I will include a photo of that. I hope to make this process easier for me and also for everyone else who is on accutane or thinking about it. Side affects so far are slightly chapped lips and a little rash on my arm. I am currently on 30mg for the first two months anyways.
  6. Ok so let me start off by saying acne never was a problem till about grade 10 im now on my senior year (Grade 12) and my actually is full blown moderate im trying dans regimen (day 1), I just dont know if this is whats right for me I have this acne on my right cheek and I have no idea how to get rid of it is it scaring, or what? I currently eat a healthy diet not 100 percent strict but getting there, decent amount of exercise, bad sleep schedule
  7. ^ in the title really, I feel like male acne is a lot more stubborn (generally men have thicker, oilier skin than women) and a lot of the ladies on here combine their treatment with birth control or other hormone related treatments that we men obviously cant use. So without wanting to look sexist I thought it would be worth creating a thread for guys to post what they are using and what works for them. Include any vitamins/supplements, too, because I imagine the different vitamins wo

    About Me

Hey. i assume that if you're reading this, we're on the same boat: suffering from acne, trying to clear our skin, disappointed by the lack of results that other acne products have promised us, etc. ive been there, and in fact im still there. Who am i? Im one of the many 15 year old boys who suffer from mild acne. Like most of us acne sufferers, there was a time, long long ago, when i was preadolescent, smooth skinned, and acne free. That was around sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. Ninth grade c
  9. Hi, I'm Matt, I'm an 18 year old boy and I've been suffering with acne for quite a while now (about 3-4 years)/ recently my acne has gotten worse, probably due to the stress surrounding my final A2 exams (im British). I used to get small breakouts residing in specific areas of my face.. i've never had a widespread problem really.. but recently ive been getting the larger cystic spots. yeahhh the nasty ones. They only seemed to appear on my right cheek.. which is strange (and no i never tou
  10. PREFACE Hey guys so ive always been roaming around acne.org the past 2 years. I'm 17 years old singaporean-canadian and i first started getting acne when i was 14 y/o. i only had it on my forehead for several months then boom one day it spread all over my face and it really caught me off guard. I tried everything, i first started with salicylic acid creams to no improvement, then murad sulphur spot treatment which helped a bit but not much, and when my acne was moderate mainly on the sides
  11. Hi! My name is Leo. I'm a 17-year-old boy but apparently I have hormonal acne. Actually, I'm not really sure. I've heard that hormonal acne appears around the mouth (mainly the chin) and jawlines, and I realised that I always have break-outs exactly on those areas of my face. That's why I assumed I have "hormonal acne". My skin is extremely oily comparing to my friends'. I also avoid eating chocolate and other candy because I've heard that chocolate really causes break-outs. It happens to
  12. Hi everyone. So long story short. I am a 22 year old boy who never had any acne problem on my face before. In october 2018 i noticed a few pimple which occasionally i do get for a few days. But this time it did not go away. Before this I NEVER used any products. Just water to rinse my face, no soap, nothing etc. Then everybody adviced me to use a cleanser and moisturizer. I don't know if this has anything to do with the acne but they broke out so much. In januari 2019 I decided to see a doc
  13. Right, I'm having a bit of a hard time right now and instead of continuing to struggle through alone, surrounded by 'clear-skinned-"it's not that bad" people', I thought I'd give this a go. It might be a little whiny and probably super self pitying but I haven't had the chance to tell anyone how I'm really feeling for a few months now so consider this truthful word-vomit. So about two years ago, I went on Accutane. Before those little miracle pills, I had red cysts all down my cheekbones an
