  1. I have come to realize I have a poor healing response. Any pimple, especially in my cheek area will leave a very shallow indent in its place. I always knew that my skin healed slowly, but now I am scared to start trying different treatments, specifically using the derminator and tca peel. Can anyone give me advice in what route I should take, especially those with the same issue. Can using the derminator cause further damage if my skin's healing ability is not the best? thanks so much!
  2. Hi all, I am looking into subcision treatments and was wondering if anyone has had good results from anywhere within Sydney, Australia. Any recommendations would be great!!! Also, how long should one wait post accutane to receive subcision treatments? Thanks, hotdog1996
  3. What would be better , a Q tip or toothpick for scars ? I read somewhere Q tip for the bigger ones and toothpick for the smaller ones (mainly ice pick scars)..... also does it matter if you get a little outside the scar ,like around the edges? I would think that would help even it out more? hmmm..
  4. Hey guys, Today i just got a laser combination treatment for my acne scars. I basically have all of my scarring on my temples and cheeks which are mostly boxscars, and a old chicken pox scar in between my eyebrows. I'll spare you guys the long storey of my acne scarring struggle and just get straight to the treatment. Today I just had my first round of Micro Laser Peel + Fractionated Laser Resurfacing. Both lasers are made by the same manufacturer called Sciton. The Fractionated laser they use
  5. Hello! I was wondering if any of you have tried red light therapy for superficial scarring. I did a treatment yesterday as part of a facial, along with blue light and high frequency, and today my skin looks more plump and my scars are barely noticeable under makeup. I tried portable red lights before, but this time the aesthetician had me lay under the red light for 15 minutes (it seemed very strong, I had to put goggles on), after 15 minutes under a blue light that covered my entire face. Ev
  6. Hello everyone thanks for having a look at my topic, I don't know where to start. Well I have few scars in my face. Which been there for quite a long time. I thought some of them would fade away in time skip but I was wrong and recently they have been like a pain in the ass. As in the picture you can see there is a rolling scars(like a circle) right below my eye and on top of my eye brows and one on my chin. I don't really remember how I got it but I suspect its either from acne or a chicke
  7. So here are my scars.. from my knowledge Im guessing with these type of scars the best treatment will be acceptance. I did see some great improvement in peoples enlarged pores/ice pits from treatments like tca cross, excision and co2 lasers i don't know if it can do the same for me
  8. I'm doing my research now, and one of the nearby doctors for me is Dr. Rapaport. I haven't had a consultation yet, I'm hoping to go before the end of winter. Anyway, there is a bunch of good basic info on his website and his Youtube channel: For example: "Lasers don't lift the skin". In other words, if you have pock marks, lasers will not change that (!!!) Good to know! He also recommends the suction technique after subcision, and tells his patients to take a baby aspirin for 7 day
