  1. Hello ! Has anyone tried any products from LUSH ? Has anything worked for you ? Is there something you could recommend for body acne/cystic acne/scarring ?? I`m looking forward to your answers because I'm thinking of trying it, but I'm not sure yet..
  2. Hey there, I've always had mild body acne, mostly on my back, but currently I'm going through a pretty bad breakout for some reason. I was using Head and Shoulders for my back, but since it didn't seem to be working I tried switching to the Panoxyl 10% bar. I don't seem to be having much luck with that either. Has anyone tried using both Head and Shoulders and Panoxyl at the same time? I realize it might be a little drying, but it seems like this might work to combat both regular acne an

This is my chest about a year later and the last 6months have been hard. I saw a derm and he gave me mincycline 100mg and tretinoin cream usp, 0.05% i also have a daily morning wash of clear pore cleanser/mask with a mixture of cetaphil. i am embarrassed to take my shirt off and want this to go away but not sure what to do? has anyone seen anything like this befor

    Constant Redness

I constantly have redness stemming from the acne on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and around my nose. This, I think, is from my face being dried out, by using face washes that claim to cleanse and treat acne using 2% salicylic acid, from Clearasil. Even the face wash, called Hydro-blast, which advertises that it's for sensitive skin and hydrates the skin dries out my face. Keep in mind, this is even after using Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, which is said to be the best, most gentle one out there. I

    Body Acne And Age

I am 21 and I have had moderate acne on my chest and back for a long time. I used to have acne on my face, but it has almost gone away entirely in the past year. Will my chest and back be like my face and just go away at a certain age? Have other people had chest and/or back acne just go away at a certain age?
  6. I have had back and shoulder acne for a good 3/4 years now and it is starting to really affect my confidence. Of course it has always been an issue for me, as it stops me from wearing the clothes I want as well as being constantly self-conscious on holiday. However, I have now reached the point where I need to get rid of it desperately. I want to start using the body regimen, but was looking for any success stories/ first-hand experiences so that I can see whether it is really worth investing in
  7. There is no other way to put it: I feel trapped by my skin issues. I am currently 25, and I started getting the typical "teenage" acne on my face when I was 12...nothing horrendous. As I got older, acne started appearing in other places: shoulders, chest, back, and even on my legs sometimes. It just kept getting worse despite countless medications, ointments, regimens, etc. To top it all off, eczema also began to spring up when I was 16. I haven't worn sleeveless tops or even a bathing suit sin
  8. Hello all! I have been struggling with acne since I was about 13, I'm 18 now, so 5 years. My acne has been Moderate - Severe. Strangely enough my facial acne is pretty mild. What I've struggled with is body acne. Lots of it. Sob stories aside, for the past 10 days I have been using Grisi sulfur soap with lanolin (I think?), as directed, every night before bed. Afterwards I use Hempz lotion, I believe I have the original one. OH. MY. GOD. My prayers were finally answered. My body acne has clear

    Week 2: Day 9

I don’t think these pictures show much progress so far. I’m taking 30 mg a day of the Myorisan and I haven’t run into super dry lips yet. My throat has been dry, though. No problems with my nose or too much trouble with my eyes being dry. I've also started using PanOxyl 10 percent foaming benzoyl peroxide wash and hopefully this will help clear me up. But, as you can see, it looks like I’ve got a long way to go on this journey.
  10. I don't know where to start. I honestly didn't think this would be happening to me again, but I want to share my experience and obtain some insight, because my doctors seem more concerned with my wallet than my problems. Ever since I started my period at the ripe age of 9 (yes, I was 9) I have suffered from severe body acne. It started on my face, and made it's way to my chest, shoulders and back. It was hell, being the first one in my class to get "pizza face" and I never allowed myself to w

    My sad life of acne

Hi, I have 4-10 pimples on my body at all times. They come up ANYWHERE (except usually not the face). Some are highly inflamed and painful. Some deeper pimples with a whitehead on top. I've been to so many derms and tried so many products. (Accutane, BP, Antibiotics, all the likely treatments) My life consists of watching a movie and itching my back, only to uncover a large pimple that will take days to heal. I often run to the doctor to get the large painful ones lanced. This patte

I found this pimple on my right pinky finger. Before taking pictures, I trimmed the hair on the top of the bump for a better view.

    Arm Breakouts??

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone else gets arm breakouts? And I'm not talking about keratosis pilaris, I'm talking about inflamed, red bumps/spots on my arms that don't have a head, and don't itch. They pop up all the time and take 4 or 5 days to go away. The only way I can keep my arms slightly clear from this is by literally slathering AHA+ all over my arms every night before bed, which, after a while, can get pretty tedious and expensive, and even after that, I will still get a few of those

    God Help Me Please ..

What the fuck is wrong with me. I used to have little to none body acne just a year ago when suddenly it started to get worse and worse. Now I have some on my back (not that much), but my chest and the area around my shoulders is awful, I also get it on my upper arms and even lower arms. This is a nightmare. The bad part about all of that is, that even after pimples are gone, those red marks still stay there. Damn that sucks ... the only thing that makes me feel better is that it's just on my bo

May 23, 2017 - Pimple on Right Hand

From the album: Arm, Hand, and Finger Acne

I found this pimple – or some type of bump – on my right hand in the early morning. I tried to pop it – although I wasn't sure if I was successful or not. This was how it looked almost 17 hours later.

I found this pimple on my right pinky finger. Before taking pictures, I trimmed the hair on the top of the bump for a better view.
  17. Hey guys, I attached a couple photos of where my acne is most bothersome right now. I used to break out all over my face, but after using Retin A, the scarring and breakouts went away and I somehow no longer even need to use Retin A; this I am extremely happy about, but I now break out over my chest and back and have been for quite a while. I started cooking all of my own food and essentially avoid all sources of processed glutamate as possible (basically no processed foods aside from the occa
  18. From the album: Arm, Hand, and Finger Acne

I found this pimple on the underside of my right forearm - about 2 inches below my wrist. I also thought that I found an even smaller red spot about 1/4-inch away from it.
  19. I've been on Erythromycin for a month and about 2 weeks. Does erythromycin actually clear up acne and how long does it it? 70% of my bacne is covered with acne and just the middle of my chest is. Btw what is cyst acne exactly? I still have under 3 months of erythromycin left but I feel like it's not really working and i'm wondering if i should just get a referral to a dermatologist and maybe get on Accutane.
  20. From the album: Arm, Hand, and Finger Acne

I found this pimple the underside of my left forearm - more than an inch from my left elbow crease. This was a different pimple from the ones that I found on May 6, 2017, May 11, 2017, and May 22, 2017.

    Swimming And Back Acne?

I must confess, in my 30's I didn't think I would be writing about back acne or scars or anything related to it. I was told that this was just a teenage thing, I should be over these little bumps on my back long before I turn 20, 21 max. Well, turns out for some of us, that is really not true. I was twelve when I first noticed small white heads on my forehead and a few on my upper back. The first few years were not that bad, it rarely affected my life or my self esteem, somewhere in my
  22. From the album: Arm, Hand, and Finger Acne

These were different pimples from the ones that I found on April 23, 2017. These were the ones that I found on June 19, 2017, and June 21, 2017, which had scabbed up. I picked at the one that I found on June 21st.

    Skin Frustration and Vitamin A

This year, I've become increasingly frustrated with my acne since it has started appearing more frequently in strange places - like my forearms, hands, fingers, and stomach. While in the past I put my acne concerns on the back burner, recent events have made fighting this acne a much higher priority. It's at least somewhat socially acceptable to have acne on the face - or on the back and chest - but not other weird places. It's just scary and frustrating to think that I might not have any c
  24. I just started my second course of accutane today. I have modrate acne on my face, and it is worse on my chest and back. I am using cerave hydrating cleanser for my face, but am wondering what to use on my body. I used to use panoxyl pre-accutane, but now must stop since it'll irritate my skin. Should I just use normal soap to wash my body? Or should I use some sort of moisturizing body wash such as Aveeno to wash my body?
