  1. I’m 16 years old and I’ve had cystic acne, acne, blackheads and whiteheads for the past 3 years. It’s left my skin a bit dull looking and full of hyperpigmentation. (Also I should say, I drink enough water, I don’t eat diary, and I exersice 5 times a week. My diet/lifestyle is not the cause.) Last year I discovered that if I double cleanse with coconut oil my cystic acne and most of my little pimples disappear completely. I did that for 2-3 months until I had to travel for a week and I couldnt
  2. So i have started a new regimen which seems to be working in reducing my acne (which is mostly just clogged pores) i am not going to tell you what i am using (and taking) until i am sure that it is actually these things for sure that are helping. My original post mentioned that i was trialing Vitamin D however that really wasn't working out so i stopped taking it. If my current regimen keeps working i will post back within a few days so stay tuned. I have taken before and after pics of my new
  3. I should note that I haven't had any inflamed acne in years (just minor every now and then)- my problem is congestion & comedonal "blocks". The problem is pores which are constantly full of oil & gunk. They then are covered with dead skin cells, with no opening to be removed (crazy because I exfoliate no nobodys business!) Mainly forehead, hair line. I also get cysts (yay!) on my jaw and chin area (related to shaving for extreme hairy face). But regardless I will get them occasio
  4. I have a really bad T-Zone, had the issue of whiteheads forming on my nose which I have solved in the past month because of a product called LA roche-Posay EFFECLAR MAT, this has reduced the amount of whiteheads forming so now when i Steam my face barely anything comes out of my nose wicked right?! Now my issue is the clogged pores I am getting on the side of my right cheek only! The issue is due to me sleeping on this side more I tested myself and slept on my left side and seemed t
  5. Yeah there's always a but Well the but is that I have been using a regimen that most likely will not work for the long term. It's one of those regimens where you have to constantly keep using for the rest of your life (That is if your skin does not get used to it and regimen ceases to work like usual). Anyway a bit about my skin...I rarely get cystic acne and if I do its probably that occasional inflamed pimple every 6 months or so..but what I do get is clogged/blocked pores. They are ever
  6. Hi everyone, I don't really have any acne very much, or any kind of scars really. I have been improving my complexion and what acne I have through the methodical use of salicylic acid, tea tree oil, cure aqua gel etc. Basically, I've been doing a lot of research and put in a lot of effort into improving my complexion. And, it has actually worked! My face is a lot better than it used to be, except for these two spots on either side of my nose! Ever since I started using chemical peels (sa
  7. So I have had great success using the regimen, however, after using it for a while, I noticed that my face was producing alot (and I mean A LOT) of excess oil. I would get really oily around my t-zone (forehead especially) after only a few hours. The regimen worked on getting rid of my larger whiteheads and the angry red pimples I got, however, I had lots of teeny tiny comodone pimples still, the kind that are too little to pop-- basically just blocked pores I'm assuming. They appeared mainly
  8. From the album: What are these?

I keep getting skin coloured "blocked pores" on my forehead? I have looked at them close up and they are not black heads more inflames like white heads just bumps? I get it when my skin gets oily or I wear makeup on a night out. What are they and how do I get rid of them? Every time I try to extract them they become angry huge spots.... Its annoying and makes me feel self conscious. can anyone give any advice? Creams , routines , brands? I wash, tone and motorise my skin 2 times a day and nothin
  9. I also have a much more detailed topic in the general acne discussion page if you want to check it out. Basically I will be posting updates here of my new regimen because it has cleared up most of my acne. This is my current regimen: Morning - 1. Wash with my cleanser (Clearasil Ultra Wash and Mask) 2. Moisturise (Natio Calming Moisturising Day Cream Gel) Night - 1. Wash with my cleanser (Clearasil Ultra Wash and Mask) 2. Moisturise with (Natio Calming Moisturising Da

  12. Hi, I am a 34 year old man and for the past 2-3 years I have been suffering from an excess of hard sebum on my face - the best way to describe my condition is that when I rub my face lots of very tiny sebum plugs come away. Initially this was only on my cheeks - but is now an issue on my face, scalp, neck and chest and I have become very self conscious. My skin is not especially oily or greasy but I have always had fairly 'open pores' but in recent years my skin has become 'grainy' in text
  13. Hello Everyone! So as a few of you may already know me the regimen I had been using, and that I thought cleared me up 100%, has failed me, and a few weeks ago I started to break out all over again. I thought that the products I was using were excellent but they really are not. I still use the cleanser and lotion because they are okay but I do not use it all the time..While I was using this regimen and posted this post I didn't mention one other product that I was using because I didn't thin
  14. Hey guys! I really need your help! I've been reading about argan oil and I really want to try, but some people say it could be comedogenic, while some say it doesn't block your pores at all. I intend to use it as a moisturizer. I have inflamed, and quite severe, acne, but I'm trying to get better via the natural route! (I really don't want to take accutane) So what are your experiences with argan oil? Or what have you heard about it? Does it block pores and cause more breakouts? Or does it reall
