  1. Hi so lately I've been developing a load of tiny bumps on my chest. They seem like whiteheads and blackheads, mostly blackheads. They're really annoying and I have no clue on how to treat them. I'm afraid of applying any topical medication as it could get inflamed( noticed this from past experiences). I started getting white/blackheads on my neck and I applied some topical erythromycin and benzoyl gel, days later one or two whiteheads got inflamed. Now it's a mess with my neck acne and it sta
  2. From the album: Week One

WEEK ONE (I was using Proactiv until it ran out and then I switched to the Regimen because Proactiv was too harsh on my skin.) I decided to try Proactiv in February, as it had worked for me in my younger years. After starting Proactiv, my skin was very blotchy and irritated. I noticed that my skin began to flake, and where I had put the Benzol-Peroxide, my skin was "hardening" and becoming darker. This was very aggravating as I have fair skin, and my neck had an obvious line of darker skin, to

    Done with week three !

So I am done with week 3 and going in week 4 already ! time is passing by so fast which is a good thing while on roaccutane . So sadly I am in the bad phase now, the past week I had break outs and it seems like acne are taking longer to heal (or at least to puff down). The past week my nose was very bumpy and rough, it seems like the blackheads on my nose are coming out which made the texture of my nose very rough and weird. Even though I know I am not suppose to do any scrubbing while on ro

    Day 28

Day 28 - Same as yesterday, I had to wear full coverage make up so I ended up using my dr. jart bb cream. After I took it off, I had 8 more new clogged pores which I picked out. Got out 7 clean and easy and clear, but one of them I broke skin. Its gonna scab. Ugh. dr jart silver label u are horrible. It doesn't last that long either. it looks good for the first 2 hrs. and then it starts cracking. not flaking, but little tiny cracks everywhere, like a dry desert floor. I think my skin oil dissolv
  5. I never get acne on my neck - ever. Around ten weeks ago I started using a new shampoo. I started getting heaps of bumps on my neck like the ones you see in the photos, but not broken out (as they are now). I continued to stupidly use the shampoo despite the neck issue for around 7 weeks. I stopped using it. And now my neck is just breaking out like crazy. I took these photos to demonstrate what is happening. Before when I was using the shampoo they were just bumps, only visible in the lig
  6. The image shows my current left cheek. Now, I have these frustrating red marks that arent exactly pimples/not bumpy but are just sort of kind of there. Some of these are marks left by previous acne but most of them never really developed into a full sized pimple and just have been lurking there below the surface in all their annoying red faced glory. Note: they're a lot redder than by what you can tell in the picture and it really takes a toll on my confidence. So. Here's my questio

    So Done

Hi. I have had acne for about 3 years now. First, it was "normal stuff": black heads and white heads scattered on my face, only 2-3 at a time. Then, more inflammatory acne developed on my temples and forehead about one year ago. It wasn't horrible, but it was till worse than what everyone else had on their face. The inflammatory acne just got worse, bigger, and more painful. I had only tried natural remedies this far to cure my acne. Every night i would try some new treatment. Turmeric,
  9. Hey everyone I'm looking for some advice. I'm at the end of my ropes. I'm a 22 year old female who has struggled with acne since I was ten. I get a little bit of everything which is why I think it's been so hard to tackle. I've been to several different derms and tried a million different things excluding accutane. Up to date I've tried several different kinds of birth control (currently on orthotricyclen), antibiotics, creams, gels, washes, diets, natural remedies, chemical peels, extract

    My Acne Is Gone!

I have had incurable black heads and white heads, with the occasional cystic acne for years. I am 34 and I haven't had anything work until now. I have even tried retina a and proactive. Neither worked. After reading about glycolic acid I developed this inexpensive skin care routine and am almost completely cured of it. This is what worked for me...get a magnifying mirror and a pimple extractor(drug stores have them in the tweezer section). You will also need St. Ives apricot scrub and Olay daily

    Excited!

I'm so excited my products have finally arrived and tonight will be my first day starting the regimen with dans products. I'm praying for the best it's so hard to help others with their skin when I'm not even comfortable in my own but I have faith in these products. I have a question though when I shower is it okay to let the water hit my face or do I have to splash it in my face?

This is probably the most question I asked myself throughout my life, I have two white bumps and two black ones on the left side of my nose, which have been there for a year and a half and the problem is they don't go away no matter how much I tried, scrubs, masks and nose strips that removed all the blackheads except those bumps , plus they don't hurt me or anything, jus hang out there, looking ugly... HELP!

    Claravis Daily Log

So after reading through a lot of these Accutane blogs, I've decided to start my own. This is my first blog about acne and my all around first blog. I'm 15 years young, a sophmore in highschool, with mild to almost severe acne. I have a lot of black heads all over my face and back, and a lot of under the skin pimples. I'm really excited to be finally taking Claravis because even after all of the side effects, I will have beautiful skin. I've been taking Claravis for about three days now and w
  16. Aloooohaaa all, Just a summary of what i have found and what has recently helped very much!!!! Acne is not a disease in itself but a symptom of a disease just as hives are a symptom of an allergic reaction that is different with each individual Some of the main diseases associated: hormone imbalance, liver problems, digestive problems, gum disease and related dental problems, and hirutism (not sure of spelling), thyroid problems, stress, nutrient deficiency, water deficiency, topicals, etc.
  17. Hi there, I wanted to ask if anyone had any advice for my situation. I'm a 22 year old female, and have suffered from acne since the age of 13. I've always had mild/moderate cystic and yellow head acne that was always concentrated around my mouth and chin, but never any where else at all. This summer just gone I came off all medication I was on and went on an entirely natural acne cleanser/toner, etc. routine and my face completely cleared up, no zits at all, just scars and hyper-pigmentation l

Sometimes i think simple products are the really good, I have been using rhassoul clay as a cleanser and mask and it has really helped with my ingrown hairs, darks spots and oily skin. it has actually been proven by two labs to very effective on the skin. Day 3

I haven't noticed much change besides some of my previous pimples are coming to a head. That's actually pretty good for me because normally I pick them before they get that far but I haven't picked for three days!! My previous acne scabs also look less irritated and my skin isn't red.. I can't tell if it's from the face washing or from not picking my face. I do have a couple very small new pimples by my eyebrows which is sorta weird but my blackheads look a lot less noticeable. So I'm not exactl

    Looking Up

My skin is finally looking nice. A few places here and there but they are supperficial at the most. I just finished my cycle and I didn't breakout on it so I'm wondering if I'll breakout afterwards. That sometimes happens. But either way, my skin has been doing really nice. The Tea Tree Oil must be what's doing it. I am activly trying not to pick at my face as well, I'v always noticed a big difference in my skin when I'v left it alone. It's the blackheads that always draw me back in. But I'v bee
