  1. Q.) Hi, I'm looking for a very hydrating moisturizer that actually does a good job in moisturizing my sahara desert skin. My Experience: I'm on Dan's Regime right now but I'm waiting for my Paula's Choice treatment to come in the mail. I personally love acne.org's community but I absolutely hate the customer service I get from acne.org itself. Therefore, I will be boycotting acne.org's products in the future. International shipment prices are out of the roof expensive + they don't care if yo
  2. Hello! I've read some of these posts before but now I have a question that has not already been answered here. I'm 16 and I have what I think is moderate acne. I just started my period over the summer and suddenly have bad skin, when it used to be pretty much completely clear. I usually get spots (and have old red marks...) on my cheeks, chin, and jawline now and it really doesn't look nice. So, I decided to go to the dermatologist 3 months ago where he gave me "Adapalene cream 0.1%" to
  3. What is a good Vitamin D3 pill that you would recommend?? Such as favorite brands or kinds of pills? I was considering these pills here - Have you tried this brand? Or these pills before? Please share any recommended vitamin D3 supplements!
  4. The best tips for acne - from a person that had facial and back acne. These tips will not cure you, but they will help a considerable amount in your on-going fight against acne. For any aged acne sufferer, wether you've had it a week or 15 years...I hope that these tips will give you a bit of hope in reaching your goal of clear skin and also giving a confidence boost. Enjoy. 1) Be open about your problem, one of the main problems that acne causes is a loss of confidence and acne does slowl
  5. Hi there, Been on oxytetracycline (antibiotics) for 3 months now, it has definitely controlled my acne and has reduced. I think my doc is going to take me off them soon. However, I am now worried that once I come off antibiotics all the acne is going to come back again. Does anybody have any long-term solutions to keep acne at bay or get rid of it? p.s. my skin doesn't normally react well to stuff being applied onto it Thanks
  6. Hello All, So, I'm 21, female, and have mild adult acne. I had it a lot worse during my teen years, and to my dismay now (sigh), I didn't really treat it properly. Just an FYI, I have pigmentation prone, dry, sometimes flaky, sensitive skin. I've tried everything under the sun to try and treat my skin woes, but most products are either too harsh or ineffective. I've been doing a LOT of research as of late on natural ways to clear acne, and have come across some conflicting informati
  7. I'm going to be roofing houses for the summer, so I will be exposed to the sun all day every day making sunscreen a must. What are the best sunscreens to buy that don't cause breakouts, and higher SPF's are preferred
  8. Hi guys, This is my first post on here and I thought I would join the acne.org community after being put on Roaccutane (I live in the UK) or Accutane. This is my 4th day taking 30mg once a day of Accutane and just have a question on what is the best way to take Accutane. I read the instruction leaflet given with my Accutane and it said to take it with food or milk which I have been doing. Do you need to take Accutane with water whilst you are take it with your food? Because, I've bee
  9. Hi everyone. About a year ago I had the worst breakout of my life. I starred using Trader Joe's Tea tree oil, TeaTree oil Facewash, and aloe vera gel. My skin cleared and it was at it's best. During the summer, I ran out of my aloe so I went to pick up some more, only to be shocked that Trader Joe's changed the formula in their aloe. I bought it anyway, but it had a scent that irritated my skin. I then switched to Fruit Of the Earth aloe. I've been using it and it's been breaking me out and put
