  1. It's been a little over 2 months now of Retin A and I'm really happy with how it's going now. My skin adjusted nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing it improve even more with continued use. I cover a lot more details in the video below if you are interested. Also, my diet has been very beneficial for my skin. Between my clean eating and using Retin A, my skin is in wonderful shape right now. Retin A Micro .1% - 8 Week Update: My Acne Story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz8

    End Of Week 5

Hello All, So, I feel confident enough to post a pic...before my roaccutane treatment began (check out that STONKER on my foehead!) and after 5 weeks. Happy to say that the results are great ! Still on the same skincare regime and not experiencing any flakiness on my face or dryness - so Body Shop's Vitamin E range is perfect for me. Seeing my derm this week for my first follow up appt, quite excited to hear her advice on my prescription, if she'll bump me up to 60mg a day. Still no
  3. From the album: Acne.org Regimen Results

I wasn't going to post these pictures because it's embarrassing to see just how bad my skin used to be!!! However, I figured someone could benefit from my struggle. I've struggled with acne for the last 10 years. I've tried changing my diet, prescription meds, Proactiv, Murad, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, all-natural face washes, masks, scrubs, etc. YOU NAME IT, I'VE TRIED IT!!!! I even tried to cover it with makeup. But no matter how much concealer you use, there's just no covering a bumpy su

From the album: The Real Me

So, the picture on the left is what my acne looked like at it's worse about 6 months ago. It was HORRIBLE. I know it looks horrible, but what was the worst was how painful it was. I had tried several different medications and I finally decided to do Accutane ( I was so against it at first ). My reasoning behind not wanting to take Accutane was that if the drug could have the potential to do something harmful to my body that could affect me later in life, is it really worth taking it only to avoi
  5. From the album: Sciton profractional laser resurfacing + microlaser peel

After cleansing. If you'd like to see my skin before and after accutane, I have a separate gallery following that experience.
  6. From the album: Sciton profractional laser resurfacing + microlaser peel

Barely any pain. Feeling ok! If you'd like to see my skin before and after accutane, I have a separate gallery following that experience

    Couple hours post-laser

From the album: Sciton profractional laser resurfacing + microlaser peel

Took a nap when I got home, woke up and it looked like this.
  8. From the album: Accutane Journey (Zenatane)

Here's a comparison from about my first month on accutane vs the last month. The picture on the right was right before my initial breakout and the one on the right was after a long day. Pretty happy that I no longer get cystic pimples. I still get very small whiteheads around my lip area but my derm prescribed me a topical cream which has been zapping them away.
  9. Hello everyone! I'm Tyler and I'm going to be chronicling my journey on Accutane (Isotretinoin). First off, let me give you so background information. I am 16 years old, a male, 6'2, and 165 lbs. I'm very active, with basketball taking up my days almost everyday after school. I've had acne since (my guess) 6th grade. I think that is when someone first said something to me about my acne, and man did it feel belittling. But people get older and more mature and people stop saying things!
  10. Before starting The Regimen I had really oily skin, but as expected now my skin is dry as the desert due to the BP treatment. I was wondering for all those who have managed to decrease/completely discontinue The Regimen, is your skin more on the drier side rather than oily?
  11. Has there been a thread dedicated to before and after pictures that show ACTUAL results. I see a lot of people on here that claim all this improvement but have no proof or have pictures that make it hard to tell anything about their acne scarring at all. A lot of it feels like someone is lying to us to try to give us hope and make us blow every dime we have on treatments that dont work as advertised. Can we start a thread strictly dedicated to BEFORE and AFTER pictures detailing all treatments t
  12. I have attached my before and after. This is from 2/20 to today, 2/24. I DO have tinted moisturizer on. And it still doesn't cover my scarring all the way. I have never been a face picker until a few years ago. Around the time I was living on my mom and dad's living room floor with my husband. We were saving up to buy a home. I was 20, he was 21. After we bought our home and finally settled I still kept picking. I knew it was a nervousness thing, because I also used to be a habitual cheek-c
  13. I have been on Accutane for five months now, and I have officially finished my treatment! I started off at 20mg once a day, but progressed to 40 mg a day towards the end of the treatment. Overall, I've had a really good experience with Accutane, the only side effects I experienced were -chapped lips -dry skin -some joint pain I could not be happier with my results, and I am so thankful I don't have to mask on layers and layers of foundation to go out! For those starting, in the pr

    Day 1

As you can see I have moderate acne, I will get maybe 5 cysts a year. I usually wake up to 2 new pimples every week which leave very bad hyper pigmentation that will last for more then 6 months. I am lucky in that I do not get bad acne on my forehead, back, and chest. I get all of my acne on my cheeks and recently it has been leaving ice pick scars, that is when I got serious about tackling my acne. Today is my first day taking 40mg, and the one thing I am nervous about is dry lips and eyes beca
  15. Whelp, today is not fun. My skin is notably less red actually and my lips aren't dry, but the headache I have in crazy. Its so bad I haven't taken my dosage of Claravis today because I'm afraid of it getting worse. I'm going to push through and take it soon, but this stinks. Symptoms: Painful and demotivating headache behind my eyes, some dryness on individual spots, one pimple dried out and turned into some kind of sore (lovely), lack of appetite. I also have a weird cough, I'm not sure if its
  16. Hello All . So I'm a 17 year old and have had moderate to severe acne. I HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE NO IDEA. OXY WHATVER TO RETIN A TO DOXCYCLINE just everything everything. You have no idea i've done everything.Well I finally got prescribed Accutane (Claravis) took it for id say 2-3 weeks (80 MG) and OMG IT WAS NEARLY ALL GONE SERIOUSLY EVERYTHING a girl even said my skin looked "FLAWLESS" but it insanely chapped my lips and made them peel and cracked the corners of my lips.Howver at times
  17. From the album: At Last

I was bumpy and greasy and pock-marked. Now I am smooth and clear! It's unbelievable.
  18. From the album: At Last

I started the Regimen on October 1st, the picture on the left. Poor lighting doesn't even show how bad it was. I felt so ugly, and I would not leave my room without makeup on. The picture on the right is five months later, and you can see the difference. My skin isn't something I have to worry about anymore. Getting here has required diligence, patience, and faith. It wasn't easy, but if you can stick it out it is so worth it.
  19. From the album: 7 months

The top two pics are from October 2012. The bottom two are from June 2013. I had tried everything under the sun to cure my acne... I finally gave up until I found the regime. I liked the price so I tried it; stuck with it, and seven months later, when I thought all hope was lost, now have relatively clear skin. I still have redness spots that will go away eventually but now no more acne!
  20. This is my 5 months journey on accutane (isotretinoin). I am super happy with the results of my back and chest acne, and I can also see improvement on my face too. Even though i had to go through some side effects like dry skin, dry lips, and daily nose bleeding, it was totally worth it. My doctor told me to take whatever dose i want for how many months i want (max 50mg/day), but i had to stop once i took 7500 mg in total (that's bc he said that I should take my weight X 100mg in total dose of a
  21. So here goes my story... I started getting acne when i was around 12 years old, it was off and on and was not too serious when i entered high school it began to get worst. My face , back ,chest and arms looked really bad. I could'nt really live a normal life because i was embarressed to show my back and it was really uncomfortable to sleep. In grade 9 i decided to go see a regular doctor and he gave me some antibiotics which did not help at all, and then i went back to him and he told me
  22. LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU DON'T LIKE GROSS ACNE PICS! I posted a couple of "after" pics a few days ago. Thank you to everybody for the nice comments. Someone wanted me to post before pictures....and my first thought was....ughh....NO FUCKING WAY! Hahaha. But I thought about it a bit more before I replied and you know what...if this gets you guys to do something about your own acne...then maybe I will. The pics aren't from when I started the regimen, but it will give you an idea at how bad my skin
  23. Hi everyone! I have recently started Dan's Regimen about 2 weeks ago, I can't believe what a difference it has made to my skin already. It has calmed down, and it is less bumpy. I still use my face makeup and it looks so much smoother. I am so happy with these products so far!!! I have attached two pictures. I promise I am not wearing makeup in either of them. The lighting does look a little different but you can still still definitely see the improvement. Just wanted to share!!!
  24. From the album: 30 mg Accutane experience

I realized I've only been posting photos of my right side. I guess I figured it was so much worse so it would be best to document, but for anyone who's curious.. This is the other side. Just scars that are constantly fading. And I'm only at the end of month 3
  25. hi im marlene and im 25 and im so happy with my results using acne.org and ive only been on it for 2 weeks and my face has completely cleared up!!! i started getting acne about 2 years ago out of nowhere. ive had model-like gorgeous skin my whole life then the acne came and would stop right before i purchased the regime on acne.org i was seeing a dermatologist and was put on birth control and going all the time to get bloodwork and tests watch videos about birth defects due to accutane anyway
