  1. Here's the background info: Started regimen a long, long time ago. About four years ago. After 5ish months on it I was baby face clear and stayed that way for about half a year. Mind you, during this time I could eat ANYTHING and not be affected. It was a good time. Flash Forward to now, my skin isn't that great. It's typically a week long breakout (1-2 zits a day, for a week) follow by a week of healing/red spots, followed up by two-three days of clear, nice looking skin. Only to break
  2. Hey all, So after being on the clear skin regimen for several months and not clearing up around my mouth, I finally went to a derm who diagnosed me with perioral dermatitis. This was a relief and made a lot of sense, but now I'm going to be on antibiotics (Doxy) for 4 weeks. I was also already on it for 2 weeks prior because a different doctor thought I had staph around my mouth. I have this horrible fear that I'm going to contract gram negative folliculitis. Of course now I have a nice big pim
  3. Today I am starting my 3 months of antibiotics as part of my acne fighting routine. Currently my forehead, cheeks and jawline have red marks and some whiteheads. During my log I am refraining from touching my face/picking. My face is very sensitive to things like fragrance, so I have to be careful with my skin products. Here is is my routine I am doing two times daily (morning and evening) - Take antibotic w/ food - Clean hands - Rinse face with lukewarm water for a few sec
  4. Okay hi, I remember I posted a post in March about my acne. I Haven't used benzoyl since then I stayed away from chemicals, I don't even use face washes anymore. I went on antibiotics and I started drinking a lot of green tea. Surprisingly my acne has somewhat cleared up I still have acne scars which I'm working to get rid of and breakouts on my forehead/chin but I tried everything and finally something worked. My entire back and chest acne had gone away first (I have black scars from it) I've n
  5. I used to have clear skin and since a almost a year I started having acne and it has seriously ruined my life. I've become so so so depressed, i have no interest in anything any more. Also, no one seems to really care. Please tell me what should i do. i always have 2-3 pimples on my face esp on the right side. My derma gave me two antibiotics, doxy and erythromycin do they help with papules? Should I go on accutane for mild acne? Please reply.
  6. I've been on Erythromycin for 7 days now. I've had the sore stomach cramps but they've gone. Many people say they come back, but i hope not, they're really painful... I'm using Differin cream too, it helps dry up the skin. Erythromycin Bad side effects include Stomach cramps Very dry skin around eyes Sore eyes Some muscle ache But I've had good side effects! More energy Definite reduced redness Less spots coming through My problem is acne scars. I can handle the

I'm 16 now and finally said screw it and grew some balls and sae a derm about it. He prescribe me time realease doxy and dapsone 5 percent cream.. but ofcourse my insurance didn't cover time realeased pills so I got non time realeased. During the first three days I was taking 2 100mg doxy pills a day (even though I was only
