Really just want to rant right now. I was on Twitter a few minutes ago and saw an article with these two models with acne and the tweet was 'zits are cool' so I was happy until I saw the replies to it. There's tons of people who are like ew no, wash ur face ect. And this has angered me so much. As someone with acne you want to feel pretty despite having bad skin and so when I saw the pics of the models I was like great!! You can be pretty with acne but in a short time after seeing the comments I

    Can't Beat Acne Help

Im a 16 year old male, and started getting acne at 15, but didn't get real bad until about 4 months ago. I tried using stridex, or over the counter products such as neutrogena, and proactiv, to no success. I then first saw a dermatologist about 9 months ago. He gave me antibiotics (I forget which one), told me to use neutrogena 2 % salicylic acid, and a cream. Anyway there was absolutely no improvement, and my acne continued to get worse after this. I then switched to a new dermatologist about 5

    1 week of eating clean

13/8/16 It has almost been a week i ate a clean diet. Morning i ate 2-4 eggs with avocado and romaine lettuce. From lunch onward I ate only broccoli, carrot and sweet potatoes for every meal 3 times a day. I dont consume any dairy , oil , processed food. Drink at least 8-13 glass everyday. I also start eating raw garlic , at least 2-3 cloves everyday. I do see a slight improvement. Maybe its too early to tell. Bear in mind also that i suffered from bad acne on my jawline, cheeks. I will conti

    Help... :'/

I've been struggling with acne forever! Or so it seems.. I swear I tried everything but nothing is helping :/. I'm about to give up and just live like a pimple faced freak.. not only is acne unattractive but it really has brought my self esteem down, I don't even go out of my house much it's gotten so bad. I would love to just go out with friends again and not have to worry about my skin 24/7. I want to have a life.. is that too much to ask for?
  7. Yes, you heard me. 8. The tender innocent age of 8. Before puberty, during puberty, after puberty. My father had it, my mother STILL has it. I have it everywhere: face, neck, chest, back, butt, legs, arms. I've tried everything: ProActiv, AcneFree, Accutane, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Clearasil, EVERYTHING. It has prevented me from wearing clothes I like, bathing suits I like, etc. It is one of the many reasons I battle anxiety and depression. I've never been intimate with anyone. Makeup cau

    Day 27

Alright, so I'm getting close to the end of the first month and I'm kind of frustrated. I had a pretty big and bad break out on Monday, so bad I had to go have the entire left side of my chin injected so it would go down. I wish that I would just clear up, but it seems like it's going to take a while for me. Oh well, no pain no gain, right? This month, contrary to my last post has FLEW by. I can't believe I've been on this pill for almost a whole month. I'm realizing that I missed a

    Day 35

I thought that at the end of the first month using Epiduo and going on Lymecycline, my skin would be showing change. It was getting better but not it is getting worse again and my mood is really down. I dont want to socialise with my friends and Im usually a very sociable person so it is difficult. At university you have to be around people. I am constantly surrounded by socialising and when i feel shit about myself i want to crawl up into a ball and go to sleep early with Epiduo on my face, awa

How acne has ruined my life

I'm now 20 years old and acne has been a part of my life since I can remember. I have had it all through high school and I am now just starting to feel the impacts. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt confident and happy with no makeup on. I have hated my natural face for years and it is now taking its toll on me. I started partying hard in grade 11. I was a wild teenager and I loved being able to let loose, forget about all my worries, get drunk and have fun. I have been partying
