  1. I've been on the regimen for 3 months now with mixed results. At first, it really felt like it was working. My skin looked better everyday. Now, it seems to be declining. My acne is still better, most days, but the state of my face is so bad. So red, dry, itchy. My eyes swell up badly, then when the swelling goes down they remain very red, then they start peeling. I have no idea if this is an allergic reaction or what. I'm very careful to avoid the eye area during the regimen. I follow the regi
  2. Ok guys, honestly, I had to sign up to ask if anybody knows what's going on or has had similar experiences. Basically, I have had a serious breakout of small little whiteheads all around my neck and parts of my front torso. I'm not talking a few, I'm talking countless. Out if nowhere. One day, zero pimpkes, next day a dam forrest of whiteheads. I'm thinking maybe it's an allergic reaction or perhaps due to hormones, but I'm a dude so I thought hormones weren't a thing to worry about. Lately I've
  3. I started using the regimen January of 2015. And stopped later summer of that year. When i started using it again this January, it didn't really gave a lot of difference to my skin as it did when i used it the first time last year. And when i started using the AHA this spring, it gave me allergic reactions to it. At first, i really doubted that it was from the AHA so i stopped using it just to be sure. And my allergies was gone. The puffiness and the redness of my face was gone. So i started usi
  4. SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR LONG POST AND QUESTIONS =) PLZ PROCEED WITH PATIENCE LOL Hey people =).. well ok so i'm new hear just registered today. Anyways i just started amnesteen (accutane) three days ago. I am 18 years old, male, weigh i believe 134 pounds. So i have had acne since i was 15. It started off with a few pimples and now its become moderate to the point where i don't want it to keep scaring me had a recent huge continuos breakout for some random reason). Anyways i've tried everything
  5. It's been a long four months since I decided to start this regiment, but I feel like I've come a substantial way. I started my own log to document any progress and setbacks I was experiencing during the regiment, as well as to test out any new products I was using. The log comprises the notes from my first five weeks, and then a follow up of where I am today. The most drastic changes occured in the first 5 weeks, and so I didn't feel the need to keep writing past that time. Products you will fi
  6. It started off as a red rash around mouth and now these tiny pin sized whitehead’s are multiplying and getting bigger by the hour! I haven’t started using any new products.
  7. I have been on the regimen since March 11th and I'm confused because initially I had bad breakouts on my cheeks. That cleared up very well with the treatment in the first month then I began using AHA+ on April 11th. I loved the results I saw from the AHA as well, but Around April 17th I noticed tiny bumps popping up on only 1 side of my nose and they progressed to both sides and actual nose as the weeks went by. I wasn't sure what was causing it and thought maybe I wasn't cleaning well enough si
  8. 20/m I've had no luck in clearing my acne. It's not awful, but my overall complection is. Right now I've been using: Morning: Neutrogena Deep Action Cream Cleanser (applied with Olay Pro X Cleansing System) Walgreen's generic moisturizer. Ambi Fade Cream (oily skin) Neutrogena On-The-Spot 2.5% BP Night: Neutrogena Deep Action Cream Cleanser (applied with Olay Pro X Cleansing System) Walgreen's generic moisturizer Walgreen's Alpha Hydroxy 8% AHA Ambi Fade Cream (oily skin)
  9. When I last saw my dermatologist, he gave me some samples of Epiduo to use. I'm on the second day of using it (I apply it once before going to sleep every night), and after applying it tonight I noticed my throat got sore, it almost felt like it was maybe bleeding. When I applied it for the first time last night I didn't notice that, so I don't really know. Could this be an allergic side effect of using it? I know the side effects say a possible tightening of your throat, but I don't think t
  10. I've had acne since age 10, it's currently what you'd probably classify as moderate, although it partially covers my face, and the majority of my back. I can definitely say acne has impacted me a lot. Middle school being the worst as I was one of the only kids that had acne, so I got a lot of mean/rude comments such as "You're disgusting, do you even wash your face??" I was humiliated and tried to avoid school. I think it's kind of funny that many people brush acne off as being a minor, insignif
  11. I tried The Regimen on a few applications and my face swelled up, got red, really dry skin and itches. Obviously this product does not work for my skin since certain ingredients in The Regimen made triggered an allergic reaction. So whoever is thinking of purchasing this product, take my advice as a precaution. For the people that used it and worked for them, great.
  12. My face tolerates the peroxide while still becoming red and sore but my shoulders, back, and chest all become very swollen, itchy and inflamed. I even dillutted my solution from 2.5% to no more than 1.5% peroxide and I still have the same effect. I have just started using a leave on solution after having stopped use of a 10% peroxide shower wash several years ago due to severe burning effect. Does anyone have experience of using antihistamines to counter this effect?
  13. Okay, so I have been searching the internet for a couple days now, trying to see if anyone has this same side effect that I have, but I found no one. I found rashes, eczema, etc but I am pretty sure that is not what this is. I remember as a kid, I would get this type of reaction whenever I got a mosquito bite (except it was just one singular point and quite a bit larger than what I have now), but the pain and itchiness I feel is equivalent to that. I called my derm a couple days ago and
  14. Hey everyone, I've had acne for as long as I can remember. I literally tried everything, and nothing worked. I went on YouTube one day and saw this girl talking about the regimen here on acne.org and her results seemed too good to be true but I gave it a try anyway since I had nothing to loose. So I tried it and wow, my skin cleared up so quickly. My skin did get itchy and dry and a tiny bit red but nothing crazy. I kept going with this until my bottles ran out in the summer. I guess I got a
  15. please can somebody help..... Less than 2 days ago i stupidly tried to heal some pimples on my forehead by using tea tree oil NEAT!...WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! 16. Hi! I was prescribed duac by my doctor and have been using it for 20 days now with no problem other than slight redness and dry/ flaky skin. My regime is as follows: Use cetaphil cleanser an hour before i apply duac, go to sleep and then wash of what's left. However yesterday i bought the cetaphil moisterizing cream and took a day off duac and just used the cream to help with the dryness from duac. This morning I woke up with extremely red and blotchy skin all over my face, it is quite it
  17. someone please help me. i have had this on going problem for about 3 weeks now. i visited the dermatologist and she advised me that they were white heads and there was nothing i could really do about it. she prescribed me epiduo and a oral treatment. i kind of felt rushed in her office and she told e anything just so she could see the next patient? has anyone had a similar problem? the bump are in clusters. small, hard and flakey. it certain light they don't look too bad but it some lights it lo
  18. About a year and a half ago I was prescribed this medication called Epiduo to help treat my mild acne. It was the first acne medication I had ever used. I tried it and as a result it burned my face. I had noticeable redness and swelling, mainly on my cheeks for a few days. After a few days of using it it no longer burnt my face, and over the course of 6 months my acne cleared up a bit. Since I moved, I was forced to go to a new dermatologist who started me on a new regimen of Differin, Finacea,
  19. Guys I need some help here..I can't figure out what these things are that I keep getting on my skin. Once a week or so one little single red dot will show up..it's sooo bright red although you can't tell from the picture. It's perfectly round and very little. The next day it itches so much as well... I don't know what its from? Could this be an allergic reaction to something I'm eating maybe, as I haven't changed products in years. Could this be something else?!!! I currently take th
  20. Over the recent month I have noticed smallish red bumps crowding my chest, and a little bit on my shoulders. I have no idea whether this is some sort of rash or acne, nevertheless it has brought my self confidence down 100%. I’ve tried drying them out or even using tea tee oil on them but it only seems to make them worse. I’ve tried moisturizing rhem with coconut oil yet this has done nothing. I don’t know if this is acne or not but it’s definitely horrible. Any help and possible identification
  21. Hey,So I started using the treatment since 26th December, first two months were BRUTAL all the extreme dryness and peeling were the worst but I noticed I was finally free from active breakouts so instead of increasing the amount I actually started using less and could tell that its doing something for my face cause whenever I stopped I would get new breakouts coming in, so I just used the treatment at most 4 times a week only at night and everything worked great, then one day out of the sudden
  22. I seen that acv can be mixed with water for a toner. I've been using this for months now things it works just because it makes my skin clean clean after using but now that I'm thinking about it I might be allergic, my acne hasn't gotten better from using this. I think it might have gotten worse I cannot remember to be honest. I applied acv on one side of my face tonight and a few minutes after it drying I realized that side of my face was super itchy. Could this be an allergic reaction or just n
  23. FYI I'm sorry if this post is long and rambling with grammatical errors and whatnot. I literally have never written a review for ANYTHING in my life but I'm so upset that I feel the need to post my thoughts. \ I'm a 21 year old female of asian-american descent and I usually have a couple of small white heads on my forehead or chin, clogged pores around my nose and chin, and like one or two cystic zits a week if that matters to anyone reading. I know it doesn't sound that bad and many people
