  1. Hi guys, I've been looking through this place a little bit for the past few weeks, and I thought I'd make a post today. I'm now 18 (almost 19) and I started having spots/acne in certain places around 2 years ago. I didn't know much about cleaning and moisturizing back then, and I unfortunately used to go crazy at these spots and pick and pop. Fast forward today, I have dark spots/marks from previous spots (it'd probably be the same as red scars, but I'm dark skinned so--) and I still get
  2. Hello everyone, Does anyone have experience going to a doctor in the Chicago area which you could recommend? I am interested in doing TCA Cross or anything that could help with my ice pick scars. Thank you

    Start of Day 3

    From the album: Acne Journey

I am on the Regimen. Here my skin is really dry and flaky right now because it is trying to get used to all the bp.
  4. So when I went to see my GP for a referral, I was put on a 4 month waiting list (NHS). My appointment isn't until late September to see the derm about accutane and today marks 8 weeks until my appointment. I'm counting down the weeks and I'm finding it hard to cope waiting any longer! Any advise please

    Help meee

I don't have any access to a dermatologist or doctor to see my acne but I really need something to treat it. I have moderate acne on my cheeks, nose and a bit on the fore head, I also get weird redness under my nostrils and it's bringing me down... I never leave the house without makeup so does anyone have any good products that actually work, and that you can get at a drugstore? Any reply is appreciated

    My "Miracle Product"

So I made this account just to share this story in case it can help anyone else! I turned to acne.org a lot for tips and advice so I figured it's good karma to post how I cleared up my acne. For starters, my skin was always super low maintenance, I never broke out in high school or middle school. It wasn't until I was in college, at around 19 or 20, that I started to break out a little here or there. I always chalked it up to stress and eating poorly at college but it consistently got worse.

    Birth Control Pill For Acne.

So, after not taking anything and suffering yet another horrendous breakout, becoming increasingly depressed I dragged myself back to the doctors. A couple of years ago, Roaccutance did a great job of clearing up my skin for about half a year before slowly it began to return. I tried all the antibiotics and creams again without luck. I also tried birth control, which, after my doctor's visit today, I have got again. Hopefully, I'll begin to see great improvement in the next six months, althoug
