  1. Okay so I just signed up on acne.org to make myself feel better and get some advice on this tragic thing i did for my face, because I really feel like trash right now. So last week. I was looking at the mirror, close up, at my blemishes. I have this problem where I will start picking at the smallest thing on my face because im so afraid of pimples. I pick on three pimples on my cheek. All got inflamed. Throughout the week i tried putting mask, benzoyl peroxide, baking soda, etc. Two of them went
  2. hi so last week i made a change in my routine and started taking vitamin d3. a couple days later i started drinking a tablespoon of acv with a cup of water on a daily basis. my skin was clearing for all of last week. however this week, i have gotten pimples plus pimples on weird places i never get pimples like my eyebrows and chin. could drinking the ACV cause me to break out? i believe that’s what it is since i read people break out after a week of drinking it. i don’t think it’s vitamin d b
  3. Hello! Brief introduction, I'm 17 this year and i'm Asian. I live in a humid country. My acne main concerns are on my cheeks as they are everywhere on my cheeks and get dry in the night but oily under the sun/will turn red. I have a few acne on my jawline too.Daily routineMorning:Slather my face with Raw Honey (Really Raw Honey brand) for at least 30minutes to an hour ; sometimes when i'm lazy or in a rush, i use Cetaphil Gentle Skin CleanserWash it off and apply toner (I use Bragg's Apple Cider
  4. I really believe low stomach acid and vitamin + mineral deficiencies are a serious part of acne. I have been doing the oxy powder cleanse and getting liquid stools. I have far less bloating since doing these supplements. I took chromium with my baked beans, which would probably normally spike my blood sugar. But I also took ACV, cause I haven't received my HCL pills. My skin was clearing up a little, except for these weird deep bumps on my left jaw/cheek. I was craving them. Been really cr
  5. So I've been taking ACV for atleast the last 6 months. During this period my skin has been good, average and bad. I drink 2 tablespoons with roughly 400mls of water twice a day, usually around dinner then a couple of hours before bed. I dont drink Braggs (Though i did try braggs for the space of a couple of weeks at the end of last year and had a little breakout though i'm not sure of the cause) but i do drink a brand that contains the 'mother' (Melrose for those of you playing at home). I've re
  6. Hi- I'm an american living in Thailand and my roommate who does not speak English is struggling with very bad cystic Acne. I've been trying to help her research solutions... she's done antibiotics, all sorts of OTC face wash regimens (including proactiv) with out any success. So I'm writing on her behalf... (That's a sort of long story to explain why I'm writing "She" instead of "I".) She's just started a natural regimen using honey to cleanse, ACV as a toner, and a combo of teatree o
  7. Sup guys. so I made a mask out of bentonite clay (aka aztec clay) and acv. I've made it multiple times before but for some reason it burned part of my face (chin and some parts of cheeks). I left it on for about 30/40 minutes and washes it off only to see that my chin and part of my cheeks were extremely red and weirdly bumpy. It's been about 2 days and I now have brown marks. They don't hurt or burn but they're quite ugly. Needless to say I won't be mixing the clay with acv again, I'll use w
  8. I've been continuously using Apple Cider Vinegar toner for about 4 months and I've noticed that it helped calm down my acne and reduced the appearance of my scars/marks. However, I still haven't completely got rid of my acne. I figured that using cleansers specifically for acne isn't actually helping solve my problem. That's why after some research, I decided to use the toner alongside with a moisturizing dove soap. Day 1 ❤️

Hey everyone it's Andy! And for my first blog I wanted to share my acne miracle and cure (in my case at least) so I have been struggling with acne for 4-5 years or so and I have tried everything and I mean everything to get rid of it and I have finally found it!.... It's.... GOAT MILK SOAP AND... APPLE CODER VINEGAR!! Yup that's all. And how I discovered this amazing thing, I was out with friends and we came across this little shop in my town (no name) and she spelled homemade goods like soaps a
  10. http://imgur.com/a/SAhcb I have an indented scar.. from a wart (i used apple cider vinegar to kill the wart), after it healed (had to remove the black scab which was the dead wart) it became a pink indented plastic surface scar.. just curious what method or is it even possible for it to heal back to normal skin color.. sorry for poor quality picture, was the best i could capture (it's on my face). Thanks! P.S. Would apple cider vinegar or lemon do the trick?
  11. Hi everyone!! I am currently working on helping my acne scars and hyper pigmentation. I do have a breakout every once in a while but my routine I have created has really helped. I have cut out a lot of dairy, drink almost a gallon of water a day, and eat a lot more healthier. Although I am currently not on the acne.org regimen, as I have found it after my routine, I did just order the AHA + glycolic acid. Heres what my routine looks like - morning: wash my face with my clinique redness solutions
  12. I feel like I have to share what I've found after years of struggling with my skin. I struggled with acne all through high school and college and when I turned 22 it became constant cystic mostly on cheeks and chin. I also am a face picker so scabs and scars where a huge issue. The only thing that made a small difference was doxycycline but due to my picking my face still looked horrible.Out of desperation I started using coconut oil. My skin is combination with a oily t zone, dry everywhere els
  13. hi, I'm 17 yrs old. I started getting acne in my 10th grade and i was 15 that time. I still have acne and I just dont know what products to try anymore, it's depressing that sometimes I would not even go to school just to hide my face from everyone. So, I have super oily skin and moderate acne and some whiteheads there and there. I've heard a lot of positive things about using braggs apple cider vinegar and so I decided to try it, i diluted it in 50 50 water and acv and apply it on my
  14. Hi everyone, I really need some advice from people on this board. I am completely lost and do not know what to do, and the acne is affecting my social and work life (as I need to present a lot!). Background: Male, 31 years old. Since my early 20s I have had pretty much clear skin with a pimple occasionally due to a big night out or a messed up diet for that week. But generally I had great skin that got complimented a lot, and I hardly used any products if any at all. I am relative hea
  15. Hi all. I've known from a user of this forum named Bruin74 that he had success in filling in his ice puck scars and other indented scars by using apple cider vinegar and vitamin C. He did it by using the vinegar with similar method as TCA CROSS and consuming 100g twice daily for a month and obtained a 50% improvement. Have anyone tried this and results? Thank you very much.
  16. Hi The following items definitely break me out, and some f them are very healthy for you. I see some connection to histamines but any insight is helpful. I am mostly vegan with some raw goat milk homemade yogurt. 1. ACV 2. Lemon water (lemon lime squeezed in dishes is ok) 3. oranges 4. pineapples 5. conventional dairy. 6. homemade sauerkraut with cabbage garlic and seasalt. 7. some forms of honey (raw organic) 8. walnuts and pecans I am not sure. I am really suspecting low st
  17. Hey everyone, I've been a acne.org lurker for a while now and thought I'd finally make an account to share a couple things. I promised myself that if I found a "cure" for my acne that I'd been suffering with for a long time that I'd share it on here with the hopes of helping someone else. Well, it's not a cure, but ACV has changed my life. I'm sure you've heard all about it as I did before I tried it. I thought it was bullshit but was at the point where I had no other options, so I tried it out.
  18. Background - recently my skins been going haywire, a combo of stress (which leads to picking), hot weather, and a distrupted regime left my skin the worst it had been in a long while. With the introduction of a mild cleanser, its calmed down massively, yet when i washed my face, I could feel the clogged pores on my forehead, around my mouth/smile lines was the same. These don't typically bother me but occasionally one will turn into a full blown pimple, which lasts for a week. Hell no. So I've d
  19. Hey guys, Just wondering whether I am alone on this as I seem to always break out when using any type of aspirin based treatment. Whether it be a good old fashioned aspirin mask or putting aspirin in my toner. The next day I seem to have little pustules pop up. For example, i put 2 aspirin in my ACV + Water (75/25) toner last night and used it. This morning I have had around 3 pustules and a few clogged pores pop up overnight. I have been somewhat in remission of my acne which is flari
  20. Hi there. I am 34 and have dealt with acne for more than half my life. I have used almost every conventional medicine under the sun, including Accutane (one full course and three weeks of a second course). None of these drugs has ever dealt with the condition to my satisfaction, so I have been recently looking into a more natural/holistic solution. I have been eating paleo for the last 10 days or so, and I thought I'd try drinking a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with water last night. I
  21. Hi, I've been using ACV for my marks since the beginning of summer, and I started with a 1:1 concentration of ACV. I eventually added more and more ACV as my skin got used to used to the previous concentration. Now, I've stopped because I dont want my skin to become immune to ACV. :C I don't feel the burning sensation I've felt previously, and I've noticed that it is not as effective. If I stop using ACV for a while and start again at a later date, do you think my skin will be more sensitive
  22. Like many of you, I've been battling acne since puberty (I'm 18 now). A brief history: I have oily, acne-prone, somewhat sensitive skin. I used the Clean&Clear acne line for years, mostly the 10% BP one in the purple bottle and sometimes the exfoliating one in the green bottle. I followed with witch hazel sometimes, Clindamycin gel, and Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture (now I realize it wasn't that good of a moisturizer). It kept my acne mild-moderate but I've never been without whiteheads on my
  23. My acne story : YEAH. this is long as everything, but please read it all. I have a complicated story, but I need someone's insight. Basically, I have had really mild acne since I hit puberty, which is pretty natural, and which I expected to get rid of when I became older. Well, as I have gotten older (I am a 19 year old white female, living in the US), my acne has only gotten worse. I started getting pimples around my hairline, sometimes on my cheeks and chin about a year ago when I
  24. Hey guys, I've been on the Regimen for about 3 months now, and it has helped somewhat, but has left some pretty mild acne scars. I've heard wonderful things about the Apple Cider vinegar toner and was planning on trying it out. My question is: how should I add it to my daily Regimen routine? I use the Regimen morning and night (cleanser, BP, moisturizer). I was thinking about doing it after I used the cleanser, and then add the BP after the toner, then finally moisturize. I've heard it t
  25. Hi guys, Another day, another dollar. I'm currently at work on a Friday afternoon and thought hmmm I haven't updated my "blog" in a while. Obviously when we have a breakout, we jump onto google/acne.org in the hopes of finding an answer. I'm just going to paste my skincare routine from my prev blog entry & then add some notes. This is less boring then reading paragraphs. Just to update you though, my acne has now shifted from my cheeks (relieved not to have to deal with constant cysts) -
