  5. Hi All, I've never posted or replied any threads here but I've been observing for quite awhile. First of all, my acne scars are not severe... but I hate when they look very noticeable especially when I put make up on so I've been looking for the most effective way to get rid of them. I've been interested in the needling methods... but I hadn't found any websites that really showed the genuine results from real people until this blog that I'm going to show you. It is written in Thai, I'm sorr
  6. So as y’all are very aware I have acne scars from my acne that’s just about gone a month ago. I wanted to ask people if I should leave it to heal on it’s own or if I should use this roactuane gel as prescribed by my doctor just I don’t want another flare up before school so idk. Should I just leave it? I’ll post some photos of my face down below so you can see what it looks like.
  7. First of all, I'm really sorry for my English. I'm currently 18 and suffering from acne scars I've suffered from acne started when I was 12 (not cystic, it's like whiteheads, blackheads, and sometimes pimple) and I don't really have many acne right now, they just show up in some spots and they rarely show up. Anyway, so I'm suffering from the scars that are left from the acne. Now I'm not sure if the scars just showed up naturally or what, but back in 2016 I applied azelaic acid on my acne wh
  8. Just saw my reflection when I wad outside. Daylight makes it look a lot worse. The sad part is, I guess, that's the real and true lighting since you'll be able to see your face clearly. I wake up with a rapid heart beat thinking if my scars had gotten worse or if i have a new zit which will leave a scar as well. Background - I'm taking my 2nd course of accutane and I'm almost done with my 5th month. My 1st course was way back in 2013, I only had dry lips and it didn't cause any scarring. This
  9. Hello folks, What is considered to be the best treatment method for acne scars by this community? I guess it differs from how the acne scars look and where they are located but what do you think?
  10. Hi all, I am looking into subcision treatments and was wondering if anyone has had good results from anywhere within Sydney, Australia. Any recommendations would be great!!! Also, how long should one wait post accutane to receive subcision treatments? Thanks, hotdog1996
  11. Hello everyone, Does anyone have experience going to a doctor in the Chicago area which you could recommend? I am interested in doing TCA Cross or anything that could help with my ice pick scars. Thank you
  12. I was traumatized with horrendous acne on my chest and back from the 1970s and 1980s. Today I saw just how bad those scars are. Thank God the scars on my face are nowhere near as bad as the scars left on my back. Is there any plastic surgery procedures that can help smooth out deep ice pick scars on the back? Some even go up to my neckline which I never realized until today. The photo I am attaching is not very good. The scars are much deeper and wider. Thanks for your help.

    Cursed With Acne

I've read posts on this site for a long time, but I finally caved in and made an account so I could make my own post. I have no one else to vent to that would understand, so I'm just going to rant for a bit about the horrible effect acne has had on my life. I started breaking out before I was even a teenager, I was around 12. It started out as just a few spots here and there on my face, but it got so much worse. I am now 19 and have it literally EVERYWHERE. I have it on my chest, my sh
  19. Someone please help me il skip the Sermon on how I hate my face and cry of how acne scars ruined my life and I'm depressed and hate life right now. I've had acne for 7 years now (I'm 20 now) and I've done a lot to my face (proactive, dermatologist, medicine, laser treatment, etc...) the laser was the most effective I believe but that was 3 years ago. All I do now is wash my face with organic soap that has vitamin D, aloe vera (natural from the plant)/honey mask everyday day take zinc daily too. I c
  20. Hi everyone!! I am currently working on helping my acne scars and hyper pigmentation. I do have a breakout every once in a while but my routine I have created has really helped. I have cut out a lot of dairy, drink almost a gallon of water a day, and eat a lot more healthier. Although I am currently not on the acne.org regimen, as I have found it after my routine, I did just order the AHA + glycolic acid. Heres what my routine looks like - morning: wash my face with my clinique redness solutions

    Deeper scar

I have got a lot of scars on the cheeks, but 2 of them are the worst, they were caused by pimple popping while i was asleep(lot of blood came out), these scars are not very visible on the outside but when I touch it, feels like "a part" of the cheek is gone, they somehow 'deform' the shape of my face. Comparing theses 2 scars to the rest of them, all the other scars are more superficial rolling scars, when touched can't feel most of them but I can feel there is this uneven texture(did some derma
  24. I've been trying to get rid of these for a long time, and it seems like nothing has been working. It seems to me like they're acne scars but I can't really tell. They're not raised and if you feel my skin it feels smooth and like there's nothing here. I have mild but persistent acne and have been going to a dermatologist for a few years to try and clear it up. Right now I'm taking antibiotics and using aczone and retin A creams. The topicals dry out my skin so much and make this area even redder
