Hi I'm very new to acne.org and just began using the acne regimen. I just have a quick question about when I start since I only use the benzly peroxide once a day does this mean I only use the moisturizer once a day as well or do I have to still use it with the cleanser? Thank you and please help me!

    My Acne.org Regimen Results!

From the album: Acne.org Regimen Results

I wasn't going to post these pictures because it's embarrassing to see just how bad my skin used to be!!! However, I figured someone could benefit from my struggle. I've struggled with acne for the last 10 years. I've tried changing my diet, prescription meds, Proactiv, Murad, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, all-natural face washes, masks, scrubs, etc. YOU NAME IT, I'VE TRIED IT!!!! I even tried to cover it with makeup. But no matter how much concealer you use, there's just no covering a bumpy su

    Help! Flakiness

Hi, I've been using the Acne.org Regimen for 3 weeks now and it works GREAT! Thank you so much!! My forehead is almost completely clear, my cheeks and my chin are also 10 times better now. However, I have some problems: I still tend to get pimples (that hurt) here and there, they clear out pretty fast but as soon they clear, a new one is forming. (I'm super gentle while using the products and try not to touch my face during the day.) My eyelids are very dry and a bit flaky even though I'm caref
  6. I'm in university right now and I've suffered a lot of emotional hardship as I battled my acne. In highschool, I used a topical from a dermatologist and for a year or so, it worked until one day, I broke out TERRIBLY bad overnight. Everyday, I looked at people with clear skin (I still do) and wondered why my skin wasn't like them. Why my friends didn't go through what I did. What hurt me the most back then was when people teased me about how huge my pimples were or how red I looked. Acne really

    One Month

FEAR ME! Yes! I quit benzoyl peroxide cold turkey.. One day I just .. STOPPED. OK. Well, I am at 1 month. I thought my acne was bad while on the REGIMEN. HOLY COW. This last month has been awful. I've broke out on my forehead and on my chin; places I've NEVER EVER got acne before. Not on my nose, however...strange. Not to exclude my cheeks and the sides of my face. During this last month I've had to prepare myself for college which means being out in public and showing them my ugly mu

    HELP my skin!

Okay so I have using the acne.org regimen for 2 years. Initially it worked very well, but in the last 6 months I have started to develop large pustules on my cheeks and temples. I even included Glycolic acid into my regimen ( 4 months ago) and have showed no signs of improvement. On any given day, I have up 6 pustules on both cheeks and temples. Any suggestions to help get rid of / prevent these pustules from forming!!! THANKS (below is a pic of my cheek sorry for the bad quality)
  9. Big fan of the acne.org products, but I'm wondering if there's any remedy to the huge amount of shine the moisturizer leaves on my face after using it. I feel like if I don't use more than a modest amount my face will be too red from irritation and as a result it's certainly shiny. Although even when it's a fairly modest amount there's shine. Any fix for this?

    Swollen skin

Week three... skin is still very red and itchy and irritated is this normal? Also is it normal for it to almost look swollen and making my face look fatter ? It's very red when I first put the product and stays like this for maybe 2 ours but it stays looking round all day
  11. I haven't posted in a long while, mainly because my skin hasn't really been an issue. Took a lot of time of trial and error to figure out what works for my skin. I still don't have perfectly clear skin, I probably never will, but I'm okay with that. What I have found key to keeping my skin clearer is using a chemical exfoliater with continued use of benzoyl peroxide. I have a clarisonic (manual exfoliator) but that seems to make me break out when I use it. What I currently do first is wash my fa
  12. Hi, I have just started the acne regimen about a week ago. Currently I am using a gentle cleanser, after which I will apply benzoyl Peroxide. Then I apply Derma e very clear moisturizer, which contain salicylic acid. My skin started to show redness, itchiness and some irritation. However my acne seems to get smaller. Also I mixed the moisturizer with a skin oil blend (contain carrot seed oil, jojoba oil, rose hip and tamanu oil) and my acne scar seems to clear up. So overall my acne problem se

    Benzol Peroxide 2.5?

Hey! I've used Benzol Peroxide 10% (a very, very small amount of this stuff) and each time I used it, the next morning my face was red, swollen, and irritated as heck. I have pretty sensitive skin as it is. I'm also taking Doxycycline Mono so that doesn't help. I might try out Acne.org's 2.5% treatment. I have mild acne. Is this a bad idea?
  14. I've been on the regimen for around 7 months or so, maybe more. It has helped more than other stuff I was using so I decided to keep using it. There are some days where my face is almost completely clear, and that's what keeps me going.. but then it always starts breaking out again. And the breakouts always last forever too! It's so frustrating! I'm literally at my whits end with this. I've tried so many different things. And to top it off, lately my face has been getting red and irritated when
  15. Don't know if this is the correct place to write this but -- I'm having negative side effects to the regimen, more specifically benzoyl peroxide. Okay. So I'm on the first week, around day 5, and my skin is very red, dry, itchy, and painful. The texture of my skin is off, dry and odd feeling (don't know what to compare it to, maybe scaly?) around my inner face area (T-zone, nose, chin, cheeks). It feels like a really bad sunburn. Last night when I put the benzoyl peroxide on my face, it felt the

    Starting My Acne Regimen!

So for a few months my skin was beautiful. I had a blemish pop up occasionally on my chin but nothing to worry about. Until I tried an Olay product. *Go Fresh shine eliminating cleanser* I got it free as a sample and used it for two days. Literally the first thing I saw when I woke up was more then 20 pimples on my forehead, pimples on my cheeks, and everywhere! I tossed that nonsense in the garbage. Good thing I did not buy it! So here is my new regimen! 1.Wash face 2x a day with Clairisil
  17. So I've been using a new skin care regimen prescribed by my dermatologist for the next month or so until I can start Accutane. Before the regimen, my face was actually starting to clear up. Now, I think my skin had an initial breakout on this regimen because my pores were getting rid of built-up dirt/ oil. I have one small cyst/ zit? on my right jawline, another red mark near it, and healing red marks on the left side of my chin and right cheek. I'm somewhat annoyed and discouraged, but I'm thin

    Acne scars

Will my scar indents in my skin stay forever ? I never had indents before until I started using the regimen... this is the start of week 2 and the scars are getting deeper and deeper
  20. Hey, i have an uneven skin tone and areas of hyperpigmentation on my neck and face. I was wondering has anybody simultaneously used the regimen along with using 4% Hydroquinon to lighten the dark areas. If so, how did it work? And do you think it will be okay for me to use it while I'm on the regimen or will it possibly break me out ? It's bad, looks like I have a mustache but don't.

I am no longer on this regimen. Click here to know my FAQ's/About Me: ------------------------------ This was my first attempt at my own acne regimen ever since I joined this website. *I bought the large 16 OZ 2.5 BP Treatment and the 8 OZ Jojoba Oil From Acne.org. The acne regimen for face

Good day I have been using the acne back regiment with great success for the past 5 months. My back is quite clear due to the back acne regiment that I have been following religiously for the past 5 months. My face never had much acne on it up until about a month ago. Then my face started to break out. I would like to use the regiment on my face as well besides the back application and have a question. My forehead and nose has a really oily skin, on the other hand, the skin on my cheeks a

First of all I'd like to apologize in advance for any language errors I am surely going to unwillingly commit in this post - english is not my mother language and sometimes I still find it hard to express myself in a correct way. I can only hope my lack of abilities won't distort the message itself and you still will be able to understand me just fine. Secondly I find some uneasiness in myself writing all of this. Maybe because I am still, somewhere deep inside, afrai
