  1. I am struggling hardcore with my skin, and at this point, I don't know what to do. I'm 19 and have had cystic acne for years, and have yet to find a skincare routine that works for me. My skin is fairly sensitive, but the acne is out of control. I am desperate for any advice on products that won't break the bank but will really help my skin's appearance. If you guys could *please* give me your best recommendations, I would be so appreciative. I don't have any products that I swear by; I'm lookin
  2. Hi guys, I'm almost on my 3rd month of the regimen and I've got great results. But I feel like I have to replace the moisturizer because I think it's clogging my pores. Can anyone suggest any one? I'm not sure about Cerave as it contains parabens. (I've got oily acne-prone skin)
  3. After a few hours, my make up becomes like this. Any idea what is wrong? Any foundation I use will result to this.. It looks like the foundation surrounds every pore I have, even those that cannot be seen! (Beside mouth area). It's really weird. I'm guessing it could be the oil coming out of the pore which dissolves the make up. Hence looking like that. But how do I fix it!? It's so gross!
  4. SO, I've read MASSIVE rave reviews about Indian clay!!! praying I will love it! Has anyone else tried it??? It can be purchased at any health food stores, whole foods, or amazon. Anywhere from 6-12 dollars. Enough to last for 6 months or more. It's in a powder form that can be mixed with either water or apple cider vinegar. 100% Natural Calcium Bentonite Clay ( Green clay). I will post pictures below of the packaging. It does not need to be the same exact brand but as long as it has 100
  5. Hello I'm Demetria, 17 years old and I have troubled skin. I have Oily / acne prone skin that is very shiny and red, large pores with acne scars. My skin is combination oily skin and pretty sensitive. I would like to have smooth, matte skin naturally but none of the products or diets have helped me. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks in advance.

  7. Hey guys! I've recently introduced Niacinamide (Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% by The Ordinary) into my skin care regime and I was just wondering if it would create or cause a negative reaction on my skin. I'm planning on applying the Niacinamide first, then wait a bit for it to absorb. Once done, I'd layer the AHA Lotion (Acne.org) on top. Does this sound suitable? Please let me know, any responses are much appreciated! Thanks
  8. Hey guys, I've just been prescribed Retin A after Ziana stopped working for me, and I'm going through the initial red, irritated break out period. (Which sucks because my acne was never red before, until I started using Retin A). So I've been using Neutrogena Skin Clearing foundation, which works with my skin tone but my skin is also somewhat dry so you can see the dry spots if you look close enough. Does anyone know of any good foundation for dry, acne prone skin? Also, does Retin A re
  9. My skin is EXTREMELY dry and flakey . Yesterday I smothered my face in coconut oil (yes, virgin, unrefined, cold pressed, organic) mixed with jojoba oil (because I heard its better to mix with a non-comedogenic oil) and my daily moisturiser for extra thickness, and it honestly did nothing. NOTHING. My face is still cracky/flakey..DISGUSTING.! I really have no idea what else to use, my neutrogena oil free moisturiser isn't giving me enough moisture. Even my Olay everyday sunscreen isn't work
  10. All the moisturizers I try irritate my skin so I am trying a diy recipe I read in here. It's aloe vera juice Jojoba oil Glycerin I think aloe is irritating my cheeks so my question is: can I just use Distilled water instead of aloe?
  11. Ok first off Im going to apologize because this might be a bit long. Anyways, I want to start by saying I am on my acne regimin. It consist of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide wash, clindamycin in the morning, sunscreen, benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion at night, and moisturizer (cerave). About 3 hours after I wash my face I am forced to blot because of how oily my face is. I don't have major breakouts at all anymore. I drink vitamins and roughly 2.5 liters of water daily. Idk why I get so oily. I feel

  15. Hello, I'm a 16 year old boy and I would like to know some tips or advice you guys have for my skin. I have: Oily but dehydrated skin, I produce a lot of oil around my T zones (nose and forehead), majority of my acne is located on those T zones, I have giant pores, when I make a "face" my forehead becomes very detailed and somewhat leathery & wrinkly, I drink a lot of water but don't eat that healthy, I don't exercise too often only just ab & bicep workouts once a week, I used the a
  16. Okay, so I've had these Things pop up for a couple months now, around 20 acne spots/craters on my face, I've counted. Now I was wondering if I could get feedback on whether or not they would go away, or pro-tips on what acne regimen I should use? Anything would help thanks!
  17. So I have had acne for a few years now, nothing has really worked too well. I am currently on 100mg of doryx (which helps my cystic acne but not really anything else). Usually my skin gets really bad in dry climates, so mostly during the winter. Although if I go somewhere warm, or during the summer, I can pretty much not do anything to my skin and it will substantially improve. However during the rest of the year my skin gets really bad. Lately I have been trying moisturizer which helps a lot, m
  18. I found a glycolic peel 35% gel! It's on amazon.com and it's going for $16 and some change. I have never ever had one done. Is it worth it? Do you have any brands that arent too harsh for the skin? How much down time? Rave reviews on this product as well but I would like to know from you guys! Wish I could post the pic but I'm on my cell phone! I'll try later on.
