  1. Yeeeees! Finally! Free from acne! It’s been a year, and my skin is still doing great!! I want to share the products that worked for me. I can finally go the to store without makeup and not feel uncomfortable. My skin doesn’t hurt and i don’t feel self conscious (even though i tried not to) about my skin. About me: acne from 11-32 years old, female, 33 now. I tried SO. MANY. PRODUCTS. Nothing worked. pretty much every type of acne, some type all over my face. The little bumps everywh
  2. From the album: My Acne

Skin is really starting to heal now. I've been off accutane for threes months and now the achy joints and hair loss and other side effects are gone. I've just started to use my Soniclear (dupe for the clarisonic) and that has helped so much in terms of the texture I have on my skin. I have zero acne but I do have raised scars that look like acne. I also started to include a vitamin c serum to my routine and have been wearing sunscreen everyday. I think these two things have helped tremen
  3. ok, So I've been using the 3 steps regimen for about 1 month. My skin cleared up, no breakouts, only have few scars on my forehead, but the only thing that's bothering me now, is after using this regimen, my face is getting darker and darker, don't really know what to do. but it's been awesome so far!!! if you haven't try it. YOU SHOULD!!
  4. Hey all, A few weeks back I spent the week at a friends house in South Dakota. While I was in the airport waiting for my flight I got bored and did some acne research, and came across something called 'No Poo'. I decided that I'd try it while I was there. The first 4 days were a great success! Also I need to mention that I didn't masterbate during these 4 days, or the day that I was traveling there. On night 4 I masterbated, and the next morning I woke up with a few breakouts. I didn't think a
  5. So I said I'd make sure to come back to give my accutane story after I finished my course so here I am....so I have a bad memory but bare with me... So I first started my accutane course about 2 years ago now and just a little background, I have had acne since the age of 13 and it got worse as the years went on, persistent acne. Anyways now I'm 23 and have been clear for 1 1/2 years now. I remember the days before clear skin though, I remember the worrying and the constant fear of looking in
  6. Hello all So I have had clear skin for a while now following my regime but still have acne prone skin. In the past consuming dairy products = Spots. Avoiding dairy is the first thing I would advise anyone to do. I naively decided to try consume Organic Grass Fed dairy products. Thinking ah they haven't been injected with hormones so it won't cause how acne. How wrong was I. I got to day 4/5 and starting breaking out & skin became inflamed. I later decided to research the matt

  8. Hello everyone, I'm in kind of a problem right now... My acne is I would say very close to severe as of now. I am going on vacation to Florida in March so I thought it would be a bad idea to start accutane now because I wouldn't be able to do anything on my vacation. I don't have insurance. What do you think the total cost of accutane + blood tests + derm visits would add up to? all I know so far is the derm I am going to see charges $140 for first visit & $70 a visit after that. so far
  9. Hi, I barely started taking Accutane 3 days ago and I am starting at 40mg. My lips have been a little bit chapped but not really drastic. I drink a lot of water and I eat very healthy, so I don't know if this is why they aren't as bad or maybe because I barely started? I don't know, but I have been using AcneFree Severe for about a year on my face, back, chest, scalp, and on the back of my neck, and I have been able to control my acne but I still get very big cysts on my chest and back and som
  10. WOW... So today I was sitting on my laptop bored and was like omg what ever happened to that one website that I LIVED on in high school? Reading into the wee hours of the nights.... 11. 1st month: 60mg/day 2nd month: 80mg/day I haven't broken out in 17 days!!! But i don't think i can continue taking accutane anymore... For the past month i've only been taking accutane 4 days per week and still have like flaky skin and very dry lips. Last weekend i met a girl and had A LOT OF SEX, and this had negative consequences for my lips, it's almost a week now and my lips are very swollen i look like i had botox. I don't know when i'm gonna take my 41st day of pill, i don't f

From the album: Makeup works wonders sometimes

Barely any foundation (Bobbi Brown liquid "Golden"), skin at it's best. I had access at work to free micro & peels, and was diligent about vitamins, spf, sun exposure and massive amounts of water.

  14. Pimples and acne are problems that must be addressed at a deeper level. Many people are just too busy looking for acne creams to stop acne breakouts and get rid of acne scars. Acne is a skin problem that should be addressed from the inside. It is important to note that you can get rid of acne by simply adopting a healthy diet. Types of food to avoid Foods that promote the secretion of oils by the body should be avoided because these oils are known to cause pimples and acne breakouts. Diets t

  20. Key things to think about before reading this post: This regimen takes the necessary steps to make your face pores open wide enough to allow the treatments/products to act deeply on your skin, cleaning your skin efficiently and killing off bacteria effectively, preventing future breakouts. I've been fighting acne for 3 years. When I first consulted with my doctor, she prescribed me with oral antibiotics and for months, they worked, the best of them was minocycline, which cleared 99% of my a
