  1. Hello everyone and anyone reading this. So this is a 5 year update since getting on accutane. I dont breakout at all now. The only time I get pimples is when I eat dairy and when I drink orange juice or eat oranges. I think I finally found out why I used to break out so much in my teens. I used to eat a lot of dairy food and drink acidic stuff like orange juice a lot. Ive read a lot on this and a lot of other people broke out because of dairy and when they stopped eating it they stopped breaking
  2. Well I officially start taking Claravis on Tuesday (09/27/11). I will say I am kind of nervous, for my dermatologist prescribed me 40MG x2 a day. I am only 5'5, and weigh 140lbs, so it seems like 80MG daily is a high dosage. Then again, he is indeed a doctor and i would not want to second guess his years of knowledge. I will post pictures before I start using, and during the three weeks of my first month. I am staying positive about this treatment even though some individuals tend to say negativ
  3. Alright, I know there are about a million of these logs on this site, but I feel like this will be a good support for me while i'm on Claravis (which I is of course a generic brand of accutane). Anyways though, my name is Heather and I started Clarvis 9 days ago. I am on 20 mg a day which I feel like isn't a very high dosage, but hey i'm not a dermatologist. I weigh 133 and am about 5'7. My skin isn't really all that bad but I have been on EVERYTHING under the sun, and have been going to a derm
  4. Hey guys I have a question. I'm on my second month of claravis and I'm wondering of anyone knows anything about peeling lips. I don't mean dry peeling lips I mean sticky white peeling lips. Like when my lips get wet the skin turns even more whit and can be rubbed off....is this normal?
  5. Hey everyone, Guess I'm a little late to the party. I thought I would start a Claravis log because selfishly, I think it'll make me feel better about my situation and also I really want to reach out to those in the same situation as I am because as we all know, it really sucks having acne; it eats into your social life, and in the end, all you really want is for people to see you for who you really are instead of being distracted by your skin condition. Also, writing has always helped me take
