  1. Hey Everyone, I am 23 years old and have been on Retin - A Micro since the start of September (4 mths). I have prior history with Accutane, which I feel worked somewhat well, but not nearly as well as expected. I am honestly so fed up. I thought at 23 years old, with mild but consistent acne (which is the worse due to the psychological effects.. like how is it possible I *always* have at least one or two zits, they clear up, then I get another one or two!?, like why doesn't it all come a
  2. In the first picture you can see my acne right at the start of my accutane treatment. The second picture shows how my acne was after about 2 months (it was starting to clearing up). Shortly after I upped my dosage from 40 to 60mg. After that I’ve broken out badly. The third picture shows my acne at this time. Should I be concerned? I don’t like this at all. .
  3. Hello, I completed my 2nd accutane course about 40 days ago and i have been clear since. But my face is still quite red and if i go into a hot room or something it goes red raw. Is there anything i can do to try and calm it down? Also i am going on holiday in another 45 days so overall it will be 90ish days after my course but im still worried how my face will react to the hot weather (sun) im planning on taking a high level sunscreen but not sure if that'll help. Is there any advice that wi
  4. Okay so a while ago I posted about having flaky skin and it has NOT went away. It only improved a little bit. The actual reason for this post is that I am thinking of restarting the regimen! I am STILL breaking out and it is my 4.5 month using it! I did start with a lot but it was because a pea size just wasn't enough to cover my whole face. I have tried switching moisturizers so the flakyness could stop, but it has not. So, I have a goal of no flakes and almost clear skin before July! I want to
  5. recently my skin has been getting much dryer than it is usually on accutane and my arms and face are completely dry all over. Also, i have noticed that my nipples look a bit dry and flaky. I wanted to know whether other people have experienced this or if it's something else that is causing this??
  6. Which one is more effective? 1. 4 months on Accutane. 80mg/day. Total dose 9600mg. or 2. 8 months on Accutane. 40mg/day. Total dose 9600mg.
  7. From the album: Accutane (Zenatane) Journey

Neck is still just NOT improving!!! Erg.

Weekly update again. Acne on my forehead is worse than it was last week. My face is constantly red like this and it's super noticeable because the area just around my eyes is still pale. Chin is alright now, it just gets super dry, mostly around my lips. That giant group of cysts on my chin is also still there, it's just smaller now.
  9. So guys, today (20th) marks my fourth month of using the acne.org regimen and I am 90% clear. All I have is on the surface scars since I had mild but persistent acne. Nothing a cream or product can't fix. I felt like giving up so so many times because of the dryness and flakiness and the darkening of my skin. I was in school when this happened and my friends were like what's wrong with your face? Those questions were so annoying but when they see my face now they are like woah. I just want to sa
  10. I've been on the regimen for four months now and my skin still looks really bad. It's still flakey, I still get bad cystic acne breakouts every once in a while, and it just doesn't look good. I use the AHA, I do everything as he says, I also eat well and exercise and drink water. Do I keep on with the regimen? Does it take this long??
  11. Hello everyone Situation: Second course of accutane (60mg), male (just turned 21 yrs old), extremely greasy face, mild-moderate acne. I'm on day 70 of my second course and things seem to be getting better (*touches wood*) but I've got a few questions if anyone can help. I seen my dermatologist a few weeks back and i found out that i am on a 4 month plan (He said he might bump me up abit nearer the end so maybe last few weeks i'll be on 80mg a day) but i am worried that this is too sh
