  1. Went to the Dermatologist 17 days ago but I was waiting to see how my face would be after receiving several steroid shots in my face! WTF! Those pesky ones on my left cheek just wouldn’t go away and the Derm suggested steroid shots to help them heal. I got 3 or 4 injections…and a couple of them did sting. Took almost a full week and those pesky ones finally went away! I feel a lot better and look a lot better! Also wanted to wait to post to see what would happen when that time of the mont
  2. Finshed my 4th month of Accutane! Time really has flown - I remember reading that & hearing that on YouTube videos and thinking "Yeah, right! Your in throes of Accutane desert dryness!" but it really has flown by! Day 107-118: I have a few spots that aren't completely flat but no big ones! That time of the month came & went with only 2 new pimples coming in & they were just little - came & went within a couple of days. To not break out dramatically at my time of month is complet

    Day 1-3

After a 'spot of bother' (pardon the pun, of course) obtaining my prescription via a very well known highstreet chain (it took 9 working days to get it!) I was hesitant to begin my tablets the day before a big social event. I held off until the Saturday morning and then (with a hearty full English in my belly) took the first 2 20mg pills with a big glass of water and my 'usual' dose of sertraline. Yes, as covered in my 'about me' I am on an anti-depressant, not a high dosage and basically as

    My Journey

The purpose of this blog entry is to give back what was given to me by way of the great world wide web internet research. I am a private person and never post, tag, tweet. However, I have been plagued by chronic folliculitis in my beard region for almost 10 years and have recently (possibly) made some positive traction. Keyword search: Adult male, 30s, chronic folliculitis, beard region, pustules, white heads, Type 1 diabetes Diagnosis (Medical community best guess): Bacterial induced Foll
  5. First some background- I never had bad acne as a teen, just a few normal breakouts from poor skin care and hair products (oh those 90's bangs and all the hairspray they required). Once I hit my 20's I started getting cystic acne mostly on my chin. My derm put me on Duac and Tazorac (the brown tube, not sure if cream or gel or strength etc) and I was taking Yasmine BC continuously (to skip as many periods as possible in order to avoid severe migraines). It all worked after a few months, progres
