    Accutane Log

My Accutane Log! Hello and welcome to my Accutane log! I am 5'9" and weigh 135 lbs and am female. I have had moderate acne since I was 13. My acne is not exactly cystic, but is rash-like--spreading over certain parts of my face and stubbornly staying for long periods of time. I would also say that I had plenty of closed comedones, which are incredibly frustrating because they give your skin a rough, bumpy look that is especially embarrassing in the sunlight. Not too mention the ugly, swollen pr
  2. This is my second day being on accutane. Obviously traditional treatments haven't worked at all and my acne leaves me with scars that take forever to heal. I'm 17. I've had an eating disorder but I'm so much better now and I'm healthy at 8 stones (50 kg). I've also had depression (which led to self-harm issues) but I've been doing so well with the support and help of my boyfriend. Lately, I've discovered that my acne fuels my depression even though I've been doing well, so even though I'
  3. Hi there, I'm a 24 year old girl who has had persistent mild/moderate acne for around 12 years. I have about 3-10 active papules and pustules on my face at any given time, many large blackheads on my nose, and will occasionallly get deep, painful hormonal cysts around the time of the month. Most of my acne is concentrated around my chin/mouth and sometimes on my cheeks. It's also on my shoulders and a little on my back. The thing is, this is actually an improvement over my skin as a teenager,
  4. After years of mild-moderate cystic acne that persisted through over two years of antibiotics (doxy, mino, bactrim, etc) and every topical retinoid under the sun, I decided to go on isotretinoin at the age of 22. I am 155 LB male, exercise daily, eat healthy, etc. Majority of my acne is around the chin and mouth, occasionally on the cheeks. Been suffering from it for about 5 years total. Every dermatologist that I have ever seen has recommended accutane due to the limited efficacy of nearly e
  5. Hey so after pming a user and doing a lot of research for many months I've decided on a lower dose of Accutane. I have of course many questions but my main one is...if I try a lower dose will I experience a horrific IB? I mean, my moderate acne is bad enough...but jeez. And I can tell I accidentally ate milk this week... I just want to be free again. Any tips etc.?
  6. Hi, I'm in my 16th week of 20 mg/day for mild - moderate acne. The initial breakout wasn't too bad and didn't last for a long time. My skin has been acne-free since around week 11 and I'm REALLY happy with my results! However it looks like most studies suggest that low-dose users are more likely to relapse once the course is over. I weigh 45 kilos. If my calculations are correct - to reach a cumulative dose of 120mg/kg, I still have roughly 22 more weeks to go (of 20mg/day). Or, I can up
