  1. Hello everyone! I'm Tyler and I'm going to be chronicling my journey on Accutane (Isotretinoin). First off, let me give you so background information. I am 16 years old, a male, 6'2, and 165 lbs. I'm very active, with basketball taking up my days almost everyday after school. I've had acne since (my guess) 6th grade. I think that is when someone first said something to me about my acne, and man did it feel belittling. But people get older and more mature and people stop saying things!
  2. I am 23 years old male from india and my cystic acne kind of returned which was treated by derms with no accutane and from last 4 years i never had major breakouts. Just some occasional pimples. This time its intensity was very low so my derm just put me on 3 week accutane course to control sebum production in body. I was on 40 mg a day. Althought i never had a single pimple since i started accutane n i got cleared in almost 10 days. But what i noticed is extreme hairfall and dry scalp in just 1
  3. Hello this is my first post here, I have decided to track my progress with the regimen.. I'll get straight to the point. I have been using the acne.org regimen for about 2 weeks now, following it's exact steps just like how it is written on the instruction paper. I can say, overall I do believe my skin looks better and is adjusting to the product. When I started I had a bad breakout of big pimples with no heads that, oddly turned into whiteheads and back into pimples with no heads all within th
  4. Hey everyone, i haven't posted for a while, just because there hasn't been a great deal to say. Things have improved since my last (depressing) post, mood wise, not skin wise! My skin is still pretty horrendous, but i am trying to just get on with and not have a breakdown over it. I had weird/ blurred vision for a couple of days but that seems to of subsided now. My lips haven't got dry or chapped yet (hurrah) but they do feel tight whenever my lip balm has worn off. I think because i had read s
  5. From the album: Regimen Progress

Today I hit my two week mark. My left cheek is clearing up nicely and I still have some redness, and my right cheek will clear, break out, clear, break out, and so on. I'm hoping to see the same improvements with this cheek in the next couple of weeks. I've only been using BP in the end-of-my-finger size (if that makes sense), and I will start using more today. I am following the regimen exactly. My forehead, upper lip, and nose have remained fairly clear. My chin and the area around it had brok
  6. Basically I am coming to the end of my accutane treatment plan. I've been on 80mg for the last 2.5 months with no major side effects and clearing well. Here is my question. I have a trip coming up in April and I'd love to be done with my accutane course before I go. I could do this if I took 120mg a day for 2 weeks only. It would put me at 1.5mg/kg/day for 2 weeks only. Good idea, bad idea?
  7. SO, it has been 2 weeks since I started taking spiro at 25mg and my forehead has cleared up, which makes me happy as hell. However, I still do have acne and some cysts on my cheeks, it looks like its clearing up too but very slowly. I don't wanna jinx it tbh. Even though my doctor told me to up my dose every 2 weeks, I feel like 25 mg is okay for me as the side effects are barely noticeable and I have heard that you do breakout again once you up your dose. Since its only been 2 weeks since I've
  8. Okay so today makes exactly two week on treatment.. So I haven’t been eating too healthy with the excuse that i need somewhat fatty foods for better absorption of the pill. And i feel like its catching up to me even if it’s only been two weeks. This morning i had a real bad episode of colic cramps. i haven’t been able to use the restroom at all. i maybe go like 2 days with no bowl movement. Today i sat down to try, and i guess i had so much build up gas inside ( sorry for the TM
