  1. Thanks for the advice word. If I still wanted to continue w/ the BP and use the vinegar- do I apply it before the BP?
  2. I have been doing the regimen for about 2 1/2 weeks. I like what I am seeing. Barely any new zits! BUT- my old scars and redmarks look even redder. My friend showed me some pictures she took on Friday night- and my face look disgusting!!! I made her give me the bad pics so I could throw them away. I need to know what to do about these ugly marks. Some people recommend apple cider vinegar- this may be a dumb question- but how do you apply it and how much? I have also been reading about dermabrasi
  3. What kind of glycolic acid do you use?
  4. I have been on the regimen for about 2 1/2 weeks. Finally, the redness and itchy feeling is going away. However, I still have so many red marks from previous zits! I am not wearing any make-up at all- I really want to know if anyone knows of anyting that might help. Also, has anyone tried and had any luck with any peels, dermabrasion, etc? Thanks for the help!
  5. I have been on the regimen for 2 weeks and the redness has faded dramatically! I was so red the first week, people at work were asking me if I had been tanning! I did tone down the amount of BP I used during the day.
  6. You already know what people are going to say... quit picking at your face! I have been doing the BP for about 2 weeks too. I have had only a few new ones, but my problem is the dryness.... my face is so dry!
  7. I am really worried that my skin will be dry forever. I have been doing the regimen for 2 weeks and like the outcome, but hate the dry skin part. Also, I live in the Midwest and always have dry skin in the winter. I am afraid I will look like a lizard this winter!
  8. Hi- I love Clinique's anti-gravity eye cream. It is about 25 dollars for a small jar. It makes the skin around your eyes feel really thick, rather than thin and dry. Try it!
  9. Great to hear it is working for you! I have been on it for 2 weeks and have seen less blemishes, but my skin is still so dry and I look like I have been out in the sun! Is your skin still really dry after 2 months? What about seeing an estitician (spelling?) about some gentle dermabrasion or something to help with the scarring?
  10. I have been reading some of the messages about getting wrinkles from bp. Is is just bc youhave more sun sensitivity or is it so harsh that is causes wrinkles. This kind of scares me! Let me know.
  11. I have been eating about 2 tablespoons a day of flaxseed for about a week. Has anyone seen any positive links between flaxseed and clear skin? I have been doing Dan's regimen for about a week too, so I am not sure what is helping, but one or both are!
  12. I would try the regimen if I were you. I have been on it for a week and my skin is really looking better. I had to go without the bp 2 mornings b/c I was so dry. So I don't think it would kill your skin to go without. I was really dry on days 3-5 so maybe start it during a break from school- but since your skin is oily (mine is dry and sensitive) your's might not get so bad. Also, you could try starting with even less BP. Good luck!
  13. Hi- I have been on both Minocin and Accutane. Minocine is much milder than accutane. I had no side effects with min. I was on it for a couple of years, but had to stop because I am trying to get pregnant. Go for it- it will probably help. I was also in Tetracycline and it sucked!!! Good luck!
  14. Hi- I just started the regimen one week ago. It rocks. My skin is already so much better. However, day 4 was the worst. I was peeling and red and looked very scary! But it is worth it. I would try going more of the regimen route. I use cetaphil to clense, Dan's bp, and neutrogena to moisturize. My skin was sensitive and dry before, so I am being conservative and using extra moisturizer! Good luck!
