  1. Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent acne story that may end up helping a lot of people with acne out. About 2 years ago I started getting acne pretty bad, and consistent too. At about the same time, my stomach started to always growl and grumble and my digestive system just seemed to be totally out of wack. So anyways about 5 months ago I started accutane, which is working great but up until about 3 weeks ago I was still getting pimples on a smaller scale consistently. My mother h
  2. Hey Ang, nice to see someone else in the same situation as me. To answer your question, no lol. Luckily my face has been steadily clearing up day by day. My doc said people who have more mild acne like me and you usually don't have an IB, and so far he is right. 4. Hello everyone, sorry it took so long for my second post (not that anyone's reading it). But anyways things have been going great so far, and it's been exactly 2 weeks. My face is almost clear now except for scars. I am getting one or two new pimples a day, mostly around my mouth, but they're so tiny you can barely see them, and they usually disappear the next day. My face seems like it is producing no oils right now so it is a little dry. I usually apply a couple coats of non-oily face moi
  5. Hey everyone, I'm not sure if i'm starting a log the right way (i'm kind of new on here), but here it goes. I'll save you all the whole spiel about my past struggles with mild/moderate but persistent acne as i'm sure you're all tired of hearing people bitch about it. But anyways, after many failed anti-biotic attempts, my derm. decided to start me on low dosage accutane. I had some doubts, but then I researched low dose use of accutane and saw that it has really good results with minimal side
  6. Hey everyone...i've been on Aczone for a couple months now on and off. At first it seemed to be working really well. Then it started to dry my face up a little too much, so I went back to using a 10% benzoyl peroxide and my face got even worse. So I decided to research Aczone a little better, to make sure I was using it properly and everything. Turns out, your supposed to apply a pea size amount to your entire face, not just the infected areas, and it is supposed to prevent/reduce breakouts
