  1. I don't know you but I care about you because I know we share something. Hang in there. This song always makes me feel better, somehow.
  2. First of all, nice suit. ♫ Cause every girls crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man! ♫ Second, I'm a big believer in diet changes. I'd recommend trying to cut out processed foods, and fast foods, and coffee. That might seem like a lot, and it is. It's hard, I won't lie but you can do it! And it's worth it. Third, I'm not sure why people are recommending antibiotics? From what I hear on these forums your acne will just come back WORSE when your body works up a resistance to them. Best of luck
  3. 1500 calories a day!? How are you not dead.
  4. Hi there! I was on accutane almost 2 years ago, and although my acne is coming back a little bit now I can honeslty say it was the best decision of my life! I wish you the best of luck, although you won't need it because Accutane does all the heavy lifting. First of all, your idea about being on a gentler routine is a great idea, very important when on Accutane because your skin gets pretty sensitive. Also for healing it's very important to eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies EVERYDAY! And tr
  5. Thank you for the advice! Best of luck to you.
  6. Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem. I wash my face in the morning and before I go to bed, and it seems to be a good balance because it doesn't irritate my face too much and it's enough to help keep my face clean. Recently, however, I've decided to join the Canadian reserves and I' currently training for it. This requires me to go the gym almost everyday and do a pretty hard workout including cardio, strength training and stretching. The problem is the only feasible time for me to go is aroun
  7. I hate people that don't have to do anything, especially when you're doing everything. I don't know how many of you out there are like me, but if you have a really strict diet (I even keep a food journal, I'm lame I know ) it's even worse because you watch people eat mountains of food you wouldn't touch with a 10 foot-pole. Cakes, cookies, burgers, etc... I strongly believe in diet changes and sometimes it's just so hard to look at your friends with their perfect skin eat all this sugar and othe
  8. I'm so happy you've found something that works for you! Good luck to you. I would try it myself but the only thing that worries me is that the water in different cities and regions is different, the way it is filtered and treated with certain chemicals, etc... So the results could be very varied for people in different regions.
  9. I swear by.... A STRICT diet, no dairy, limited grains, no fast food, no high-sugar or processed foods, no chocolate, no pop/soda/energy drinks. Not getting stressed. If I stress, I break out. It's really that simple. I use my hairdryer to dry my face, it's wonderful because it feels nice and I never have to touch a cloth to my face. Best of luck to you.
  10. You failed to address those who have genetic acne...
  11. I can see the sense to this, I used to take cold showers and yeah it helped my chest acne, significantly actually... but it actually took quite a toll on me mentally, I know it sounds weird I mean it's only a cold shower right? But after months of it I would start to dread waking up in the morning because I knew I had to go through this extremely unpleasant experience and then even after my shower, when I was dry and had gotten dressed I would shiver for like an hour. I only recently stopped t
  12. Lately it seems more and more foods are being added to the laundry list of things that cause acne, meanwhile the foods that help acne, or have no effect keeps getting smaller. I'm finding it very stressful to have a good diet, in term of taste and health benefits. So why don't we make a list of all the foods that we know are good or safe, 100%! I'll start if off: -Vegetables (Specifically spinach, greens) Best of luck to you all!
  13. Don't go on antibiotics! Once you build up a resistance to them, your acne will come back stronger than before! Pleeeeaaaassse don't take antibiotics!
