  1. When I was on accutane, my face cleared up incredibly quickly. Like I seriously mean, I was a major acne sufferer, and after 2-3 weeks on teh stuff, my face was completely clean, I didn't even know what to do with my self. But my back was a different story. I was only accutane for maybe 7 or 8 months, can't remember, but it wasn't until around the 4th or 5th month that I started seeing an improvement on my back, but by the end of my usage, I was free of back acne completely. Good luck to you, an
  2. Hi, I've been a scar sufferer for about 2-4 years, and although I do have some scarring on my face, my main concern is that which is on my back and neck. I used to get terrible cysts all over my back and neck, and as such, they are fairly scarred. My back is a combination of atrophic and hypertrophic scars, where as my neck is largely uneven texture and discoloration, with some ice pick scars on my jaw line. Anyway, I was wondering if there were certain treatments that would be especially effect
  3. With this side effects caused by accutane that developed a long time after finishing accutane, do they ever subside? I used accutane starting about 2 years ago and finishing 7 months after that, and I have definitely experience excess sweating starting about 5 ish months after finishing. I was just surprised from you post, because I had never heard of that as a side effect, but now it makes sense. I'm just wondering if I can ever look forward to that going away.
  4. Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. It Sucks because I have significant scarring on the back of my neck, and after a weeks worth of using Retin-A, I had a new cyst appear on the back of my beck too. With all of this, I can't even begin to explain how much of a hikikomori I become in public, and have to literally shield the back of my neck from view to keep myself from sane.
  5. I used to have bad acne, and eventually got sick of it and went on accutane. After my 6 month regiment was done, my physician put me on doxycycline to help contain my acne, and my skin was clear of acne, with perhaps a pimple every so often. Fast forward about a year and my acne had started to come back a little bit, with some small cysts forming on my back, shoulders, and neck, more common pimples on my face, and black heads clogging my pores. I made an appointment with my physician to see if s
  6. I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but I can't see the pics. If you could try to repost them I would be happy to help as much as I can.
  7. The point of this procedure is to induce a scarless healing process after removal of previous scar tissue.
  8. After e-mailing the creators of Acell, I got the answer that it wouldn't really matter whether or not the scar was old or if this was working to treat fresh wounds. This is due to the fact when treating any type of scar with this procedure, you will normally be removing the scar tissue, thus creating a new wound.
  9. Do you have an idea of what the cost is going to be for what you are currently trying to cure?
  10. That's so amazing Dudley, I'm very happy that you have received such wonderful results. If you have any before and afters of your scars, I would really appreciate you posting them. Cheers!
  11. No, my scars did not improve after my accutane regiment was finished.
  12. All over my neck, I had nodular cysts, and they left scars. Now, There is a remaining scar, but I can't really identify their type(icepick boxcar, etc..) You can see that the skin there is slightly off in it's pigmentation, and there is some small, thin raised ridge, but nothing too great. It looks like the after math of a balloon that had been put under the skin, blown up to stretch the skin, and then deflated, leaving part of the skin stretched. If anyone can help me in identifying these, it w
