  1. how old are you?Do you take vitamin supplements?Zinc,Vitamin C, Hylauronic acid, cod liver oil....all good for the skin.Heck I think even hylauronic acid thickens it which might help prevent the scars. I would look more into it cause it may help your situation.
  2. I think Khan treated only like 5 people and it seems like all 5 have been on this board.how bout that. anyways, when did you start this treatment and when did you start noticing results?
  3. this article touches on many of the things we're talking about here in this thread. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Wellness/cosm...ory?id=10269738
  4. I would say it has ruined my life in all honesty. I mean i'm just sickened at what kind of crap life pulls on you. I expect to be scarred from a vehicle accident, from a war or from getting mauled by a 1,000 pound bear, not from within. that's what irks me the most, it wasn't an external factor that led to my scarring but from within. I remember those photos in high school in drivers ed, pictures of a male face, disfigured from a car accident due to drunk driving and there was this caption th
  5. I have been on this scar board for 6 years and that is the single most expensive treatment I have heard of. My goodness but that is a lot of money to be given on faith. I really hope you get a minimum of 80% improvement for that kind of money. I might halfway believe in this treatment if it starts to proliferate and more doctors are performing it with guarantees of 80% improvement. I won't fully believe in it until i see celebrities who have scars, acheive smooth skin with this treatment
  6. Why do you have to be rude? Your comment offended me. I know exactly what scars are. I've been living with them, covering my face and back, for the past 10 years. I'm "impressed" because I've spent thousands of dollars and undergone numerous, various treatments and I've seen no results. I guess you could say I'm "impressed" at anything that shows improvement. pics sometimes aren't all that trustworthy. they can be doctored, photoshopped, altered and don't ever forget the magic of lighting.
  7. Let me ask you Bryles, do you take supplements and what do you usse for your skin? First of all you need to pulverize the acne at the first sight of a pimple. take ALOT of benzoyl peroxide and just suffocate the pimple. Along with supplemental intakes both oraly and topically (see below) you can help minimize the scarring. For fresh scars, you have to give it the best chance to heal so what you should do is immediately when you get the scar, start using hylauronic acid (topically and orall

  9. I have severe boxcar scars. Honestly if I had to do it over again and i knew about this site when i got my scars (1999) I would most definately be better off today. I may have had scars but the would have been more minimal than what I have now.
  10. Do you have any before pics? and what settings did he use? What doctor did you go see?
  11. well here we go again. i think we're all lumping "acne scars" under one big unbrella when we really shouldn't be. If you have moderate/minor acne scars here and there or that blend well into your skin then it shouldn't be an issue. If you have severe scarring that leaves you disfigured than you're pretty much in the category of a parapalegic or the mentally ill. woman will not give you the time of day or a second look. Unless of course you have money and fame. Trust me i'm in the same positio
  12. i've always wanted to go to china anyways. now i have a good reason to go. don't mind bein' a guinea pig whatsoever. I mean, what's the worse that can happen? i get cancer?Woooooo.
  13. This article talks some more about those particular stem cells. It mentions that they also applied the cells NEXT to small puncture wounds and within a month the cells were in the scar showing that the cells assisted in wound healing too. http://www.hhmi.org/news/miller20091208.html
  14. lol, yeah i didn't see any atrophic scars at all. It seemed like it was just hyperpigmentation.
  15. Let me just say one more thing, couple of years ago I had a subcision procedure done on my scars. For about 30 days my face was swollen up and my skin was smuuuuoooooothe. I had just a little moment in time where i felt good about myself. Then BAM! swelling subsided and my face returned to it's shitful state. Anyways my point is, I saw the possibilities in those 30 days of my skin being normal. If there's a way to generate tissue with your own stem cells to where it can permanently prop up yo
