  1. I used to be around the 3 a day mark. I've been doing it once a week lately and almost did my weekly today but so far I have resisted. Maybe I can progress to every other week. It is going to be difficult for you if you are quitting cold turkey for three months. Good luck.

  3. I went 1 week and only did it once. Now I've gone another and not done it at all. Every 7ish days I have a bad breakout this is sort of weird. But other than that my skin is incredibly better.
  4. Some people are predisposed to it. If you are predisposed to acne and eat badly you will probably get acne. If you are not predisposed to it and eat badly your body will handle it differently possibly with internal problems.

  7. I would just like to say that you guys can talk about what is known to do this and what is known not to do that all you want but it doesn't matter. No one knows jack shit about acne otherwise it wouldn't be so rampant.
  8. I was about to put an english muffin in the toaster this morning when I wondered if heating it would damage its nutrient content. It makes sense that it would in my head but scientifically I'm not sure if that's how it works. Does anyone know? Should I avoid toasting/baking food when I can?

  10. Drizzler, why do you eat butter but not other dairy? And to OP, your diet is very similar to a low glycemic load diet. You may want to check into that as it can show you some foods you may be able to introduce into your diet without causing breakout.
  11. Gluten free didn't help me. My suggestions are no meat or dairy. Follow a low glyecmic load diet. Eat high fat/protein. Low glycemic load is the most important thing in my opinion. If I eat bread it is whole grain and with olive oil or something.
  12. I have zero knowledge of "that time of the month" and acne's correlation. However, one suggestion I can give, as others have already in this thread, is diet. Cutting out dairy and meat did wonders for me. Try to eat low Glycemic Load and high fat/protein. Doing these has tremendously helped my skin, although I am a male...just trying to help.
